Speed between exchange and HH3 9.8Mb - speed betwe...

Wired / Wireless / Different Cables / Port combinations. Turned off HH3, restarted HH3. Anybody else had these problems, HH 3 is over 2 years old, although we started a new agreement 4 months ago, but they didn't send a new hub. Do I just need to get a replacement?
TIA

Can you run this checker and post back a screen shot of the results
http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome
and use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen shot of all the results including your IP profile for up and down.

  • Difference between Exchange and IMAP tabs when setting up a mail account

    I understand that for iPhone to communicate with Exchange, IMAP access is required:
    "Exchange email accounts must be configured for IMAP to work with iPhone" (from the iPhone user guide)
    My questions is, what (exactly) is the difference between the IMAP and Exchange tabs when setting up a mail account on the iPhone? I have it working with secure IMAP inbound (port 993) and SMTP outbound (port 25) on my Exchange Server 2003 server; however I would like to know the difference between plain "IMAP" and "Exchange" in the iPhone configuration.
    Searching the forums has revealed lots of people asking how to set up IMAP on Exchnage (Microsoft documentation would seem a good place to start), but I don't seem to be able to answer this question.
    If anybody knows the answer, I'd be most grateful. One post suggested that there is no difference; however I can't imagine Apple cluttering the interface with an option if there is an existing feature that's identical!

    Thanks for answering Lawrence. I'm not using Outlook as the computer I sync with is running Mac OS X with Office for Mac 2004, but guess it considers Outlook and Entourage to be the same.
    I'm still a little bit confused when you say "takes the settings" as most Outlook clients are not configured for IMAP (MAPI-RPC is the native protocol, although some may use HTTP-RPC) and mine didn't seem to take any settings automatically - I had to set it up manually on the iPhone.
    Cheers, Mark

  • Sync conflicts between Exchange and Gmail/IMAP/Mobile Me accounts

    Hello.
    I have managed to configure my exchange account in Mail, and it seemed to be working fine until yesterday. Today however, I am experiencing some odd behaviour in my mail accounts:
    - My two Gmail accounts (IMAP, syncing through Mobile me) are moving incoming email straight to ALL MAIL and skipping inbox.
    - I am not receiving new emails from my exchange server to my exchange address, but to my Gmail address (not to the inbox but to All mail).
    Should I turn off syncing through Mobile Me since I am already using IMAP?
    I desactivated the exchange account and reset the sync data, now at least the Gmail accounts seem to be working.
    Anyone having these kinds of problems with the exchange

    Having the same problem and recently it is duplicating contacts as high at 10+ times in some cases, did you get a fix for this? if so find me on beehive and share it with me please?

  • Synch/merge between exchange and yahoo

    i have duplicate contacts across my Exchange address book (which is the source of all my iPhone contacts, both work and personal) and my Yahoo address book. The iMac's Address Book application synchs with both Yahoo and Exchange. So, not only is the Address Book got some dupes, but with MobileMe, synching all Mac Address Book contacts on my iPhone I have dupes there too.
    I've tried merging contacts into one, but it's not allowed since the source is different accounts. Any workarounds or future solutions for this?

    Ok the best we were able to do so far was to backup the Mac contacts, do a merge on Mac contacts, then sync mac contacts to gmail, then delete mac contacts, do a merge and duplicates in gmail, then sync back to iPhone.
    Now here is what I am afraid of. If I add contacts using the iPhone, in the future, will it go to Mac contacts.. or gmail?
    SCRATCH THAT: Once you use the above method, any contacts added from the iPhone should also be added to G-mail , NOT to your Mac contacts

  • Shutter speed between 25 and 30 seconds

    HI! I have a 5D Mark iii and have been shooting the Milky Way. I would like to be able to set the camera to shutter speeds between 25 and 30 seconds...like for example 27 seconds. Is there a setting to change? On my camera, it jumps from 25 to 30 seconds and nothing in between. Thanks!

    An intervalometer will do it in bulb mode (you can dial in any amount of time you want).
    But I suspect 3 seconds really wont make much of a difference.... that's just a 1/10th of an exposure stop. Usually you wont notice much of a difference with merely a 1/10th stop difference.

  • Speed Drops by 94.74% Between 6pm and 8pm returns ...

    Hello,
    I've contacted BT a total of 25 times now, and spoke to various departments explaining that throughout the day my broadband sits around 38Mbps, but between 6pm and 8pm my connection drops to around 2Mbps every evening for the past few weeks. I've had people call me back between these hours when my speed has drops to run tests to be told it shows on their end I am syncing at 40Mbps, but I can see on my end the throughput is 2Mbps or less. It's the same story each time. I've tested multiple devices both wired and wireless (wired connected to the master socket) I have had a brand new BT router sent out to be which has not resolved the problem, and a new faceplate installed which did not resolve the problem. I have had an openreach engineer arrive at 8am in the morning although I have no issues during the day, and surprisingly he could find no faults with the line or the router. He contacted the RAINS department to check for interference, and they told him there was no interference and that the sync speed is 40Mbps and that they would need to speak to the fibre help desk who reported back the same, and suggested it could be a hot VP (congestion) he spoke to the department who deals with that to be told that it's not a congestion problem otherwise other people would of reported the same issue as me. Congestion and Interference are supposedly not the issue and the sync speed never drops, but the throughput speed does each and every night between 6pm and 8pm. The engineer told me he could do no more on his end, and I would have to escalate the issue which I have done so far, but BT do not seem to be able to help me or indentiy the problem. I was promised an engineer to come at 6pm to catch the problem, but no one turned up so the engineer who did all the above tests came this morning at 8am even though I told BT my issue is not during the day only betwen 6pm and 8pm up until midnight and straight after midnight the issue resolves itself and I have normal speed again. I have no noise on the line, and have had all that tested by openreach engineer who said everything internal is fine. Can moderators please help me and other people suggest what I can do next? I am not sure how to take this further now. Would a lift and shift potentially fix the issue? I have noticed my ping during the day seems to sit around 26ms but when I get issues it increases to 40 to 70+
    NOTE: TO BE CLEAR THE SLOW SPEED IS NOT JUST BETWEEN 6PM AND 8PM ITS JUST BETWEEN THESE TIMES THAT THE SPEED FIRST DROPS, BUT CONTINUES TO BE 2Mbps UNTIL MIDNIGHT.

  • Difference between Cabinet and Exchange

    So, I might be being a little dumb here (which would not be the first time) but I feel I must be missing something and its probably in my understanding of the terms...
    Exchange = The big building that houses all of the tech that occasionally members of the travelling community like to relieve of copper
    Cabinet = The shiny green box at the bottom of my road that recently set up shop next to the dull old green box enabling me to receive FTTC
    Providing the above is correct, why do all the "exchange checker" tools including BT's own measure the distance between my house and the exchange when calculating my potential speed? Surely the whole point of FTTC is that the fibre (with its massive capacity) is run to the cabinet... Isn't it (within reason) irrelevant how far I am from the exchange?
    If the speedchecker says "your X distance from your exchange and can expect a speed of Y" wont Y actually be quite different it I'm only actually 0.25X distance from the cabinet?
    OR... am I just being an idiot?
    Ross

    You are right.  For FTTC, only distance from the cabinet matters.
    The main estimator tool does take this into account.
    On some of the tools you will see a figure called 'uplift' quoted.
    This is the improved speed to expect from a connection to your cabinet rather than a connection to the exchange.
    eg, you may have an ADSL speed of 18, an uplift of 3, and an estimated 54 for FTTC.
    I don't remember any tool that actually quotes your distance from the cabinet.
    For example: http://fttc-check.alc.im/  gives an uplift.
    The telephone number based http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome is informative.
    ~~~
    Of course, as always with estimates, there is lots to go wrong.  They are estimates, not promises, despite many posters complaints about 'not being given what we were promised' or  'not being given what we are paying for'.
    Most people find they are a bit above the estimate, but it looks as if as more people join FTTC, crosstalk between them will lower their speeds to near the estimate.  Some get much lower; aluminium lines is a particular bugbear for FTTC/VDSL which the estimator does not take into account.  And for a very few, the records are just screwed up and the estimate rubiish.
  • Exchange rate difference between MIRO and GR/IR
    Hi,
    Exchange rate difference between MIRO and GR/IR we need to written off as a expense for imported w/off expense and in case of assets we need to post exchange rate difference to exchange fluctuation account. Currently exchange rate difference is accounting under capital work in progress(Asset)instead of exchange fluctuation.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Venkata Suresh
    Hi,
    At MIRO stage, after entering PO number system will automatically populate the GRN value for selection. Here if you found that invoice value, which you have received from the vendor, is more than the system proposed amount, then you can adjust that diff amount in the GL account tab, which is next to PO reference tab in MIRO.
    There enter the exch loss GL account and enter the diff amount.
    Thanks,
    Srinu.
  • CKM3 - PPV analysis: split between exchange rate effect and price effect
    Dears,
    I need to verify how the purchase price variance (PPV) is calculated within the Material Ledger, specifically regarding the split between exchange rate effect and price effect.
    I found transaction CKM3 that display the exchange rate difference and the price difference (I think total price difference = exchange rate effect + price effect), but I still have some open points:
    - How CKM3 should works? I created some documents to test this transaction (goods receipt from purchase order and its invoice) creating a PPV with exchange rate effect and price effect (both) but in CKM3 the split is not shown, only the total PPV is shown at document level.
    - Is there same specific procedure to be followed? Is there other steps to be done before CKM3 is executed in order to split the PPV?
    and then
    - Is CKM3 the best solution to analyze the PPV within Material Ledger?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Jody
    Tnx Adi,
    this link is very helpful, now I've an idea about how the data should be shown in CKM3.
    But at the moment I replicated a similar case to the example mentioned in the link, and in CKM3 I see different values: all PPV amounts are only present in column "Price difference" without the part due to the exchange rate effect.
    Do you know if I need to execute a preliminary step before to execute CKM3? Or is there something to be set-up in custominzing in order to allow the correct population of the exchange rate price difference?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jody
  • Standard XML schema for Vendor data exchange between SAP and other system
    Is there a SAP standard way of XML schema that we exchange between SAP and other system? Please let me know.
  • Difference between ob08 and oc41 Transaction code in Exchange rate
    Hi,
    Can any one help me out what is the difference between OB08 and Oc41 in transaction code in Exchange rates...
    Thanks in Advance
    Sivanand
    hi Siva,
    When foreign currencies are valuated, all the open items that were posted in a foreign currency are valuated. The valuation is based on the individual open items in a foreign currency, that is, each open item in a foreign currency is valuated individually.
    The exchange rate table is OB08
    AND
    OC41 is another transaction to the exchange rate table.
    When you try to change you cannt change the rates sometimes.... but u can see the rates displayed.......
  • Single name space in between Exchange 2010 and 2013
    Hi,
    In my current environment I have 2 Exchange 2010 servers with DAG no CAS NLB. I installed Exchange 2013 with 2 CAS with WNLB and 2 Mailboxes with DAG. The main requirement is to configure Single name space to access in between Exchange 2010 and Exchange
    2013. On Exchange 2010 DAG there is a URL using is owa.domain.com and I also configured in Exchange 2013 all the virtual directories with this name owa.domain.com but having an issue that when I open explorer and use the owa.domain.com URL the user on Exchange
    2013 gets their mailbox but user on Exchange 2010 gets error HTTP 403 blank page.
    I observed that in Exchange Organization settings CAS settings one server OWA, ECP etc shows their internal external URL but the other server unable to open the OWA, ECP URL and give error message that "An IIS directory entry
    couldn't be created. The error message is Access is denied. HResult = -2147024891"
    Please guide how to resolve this issue and use the same name URL in Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013
    Thanks,
    Hi,
    See the below brief:
    User will connect to mail.contoso.com as his namespace endpoint. CAS2013 in Site1 will authenticate the user, do a service discovery, and determine that the mailbox version is 2010 and is located within the local AD site. CAS2013 will proxy the
    request to an Exchange 2010 Client Access server which will retrieve the necessary data from the Exchange 2010 Mailbox server
    Go through the full blog for better understanding of the redirection.
    Client Connectivity with Exchange 2013
    Hope you have changed your DNS records to direct connections only to your new Exchange 2013 server. You'll move the host names (for example, mail.contoso.com) users have been using to connect to Outlook Web Access, Autodiscover, and so on, from your
    Exchange 2010 server to your Exchange 2013 server. When an Exchange 2010 user tries to open their mailbox, the Exchange 2013 server will proxy their request and communicate with the Exchange 2010 server on their behalf.
    Configuring DNS includes the following:
    Change the primary host names, such as mail.contoso.com, autodiscover.contoso.com, and owa.contoso.com (if used) to point to the external, publically-accessible, IP address of the Exchange 2013 Client Access server with your public DNS provider.
    Change the primary host names, such as mail.contoso.com (or internal.contoso.com if you're using different internal host names) and owa.contoso.com (if used) to point to the internal machine name of the Exchange 2013 Client Access server on your internal
    DNS servers.
    NOTE- Go through the Exchange Deployemnt Assitant - Configure DNS Records section
  • How to set a thumbnail photo in Azure AD? Sync thumbnail photos between Exchange Online and Azure AD?
    We're interested in downloading the thumbnail photo for users in an O365 tenant using the REST API, but we're stumped regarding how to set a thumbnail photo for a user in Azure AD.  We haven't found a way to do it via the user interface and it doesn't
    appear to sync between Exchange Online and Azure AD.  The only sync reference we've been able to find is between Windows Server AD and Azure AD which is not applicable in our use case?
    Any pointers on how to get the thumbnail photo set?
    Greetings!
    You may use the sample (Malar has shared above) which helps how to query Azure AD using the Graph API, demonstrates additional REST functionality to Get and Set User Details, including thumbnail photos.
    Would like to add:
    http://matthewyarlett.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/add-or-update-user-profile-picture.html
    You can use the AD module for PowerShell for getting / setting the AD user.
    Would like to re-iterate that there are constraints on the sizes and formats supported for the
    thumbnailPhoto Active Directory attribute. As a general guideline, keep your images to 96x96 pixels and under 10Kb, using JPG format.
    Thank you,
    Arvind
