Speed Grade CC Not Working With PremiereCC

I've been trying to colour grade with SpeedGrade from Premiere but when I click direct link to Adobe SpeedGrade I get a message saying that this project was saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere or Adobe SpeedGrade and cannot be upwind in this version....
But they are both upto date has anyone had this problem or know how to fix?

Not an unusual thing. First ... check the BUILD numbers, NOT the "CCXXX" numbers. Build numbers are always at the bottom left of the "Help/About" dialog box. In SpeedGrade you need to scroll down with the barely-visible scroll bar on the right side.
Current Builds:
PrPro: 8.2.0(65)
SpeedGrade: 8.2x51
If those are correct, I'd try first signing out of your CC Desktop app (the one that you download programs through) and then back in ... sometimes this fixes the problem. If that doesn't, then the following are the instructions to trash the preferences files while opening the programs ... this also might work.
To restore default preference settings, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. You can release the Alt key or Option key when the splash screen appears.
To restore default preference settings and plug-in cache at the same time, hold down Shift-Alt (Windows) or Shift-Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. Release the Shift-Alt keys or Shift-Option key when the splash screen appears.
If your builds are NOT correctly matched, but both your programs AND the desktop app say everything's up to date, that takes a bit more to fix. Been through this myself.
With mis-matched but reported as "up to date" ... you need to download the Adobe CC Cleaner app ...

Then ... sign out of and uninstall the CC Application (the desktop controller), use the CC Cleaner app to trash anything left behind, then download a fresh copy of the CC Application and sign in ... and hopefully, it will now report one of your programs is out of date. If not ...

Use the CC Cleaner to both uninstall/wipe both the CC Application AND the program that is not current from your machine (yes, it can uninstall also ...);
Download a new fresh copy of the CC Application, sign in;
Download/install the program that needed updating.
Hopefully the fist step or two will solve this ... but this should get you through.

I would suggest you are wasting your time trying to use SG on a Surface Pro 3. SG minimum hardware specifications ask for a discrete GPU that supports a GPGPU language like CUDA http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-speedgrade.html
If you want to do colour correction then try using Adobe Premier effects such as the Fast Color Corrector or Curves.

External USB HD does not work with HAL:
From the last 10 days the HAL auto-mount with ntfs-3g file system of my external hard drive does not woks.
But the manual mount procedure with the command mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb* /mnt/XYZ works.
I've followed the instructions in the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL and the system has worked up to the last kernel or HAL update.
My fat32 usb-stick works without any problem.
If I try to open the device with KDE it appears an error popup wit this message:

I have done the following:
Downloaded the patched hal version.
used makepkg in /abs/local/trunk/ to create a pkg for pacman
used sudo pacman -U pkgname to install it.
used sudo nano /etc/hal/fdi/policy/preferences.fdi to create the fdi file with the following content:
saved the file and removed my ntfs entryes from fstab and rebooted. and still there is no automount off ntfs partitions.
have i done something wrong?

WARNING: what follows is a guide of what did work for me, I'm still in an early stage of learning linux, so please correct me if anything of what follows is wrong/dangerous/stupid. As I said, this worked for me, it's not pretty, since I was learning each step on the fly and I'm sure there are better ways to do this.
So fjodork, you seem to have done the the necessary steps, though i couldn't get it to work until i first removed hal without dependencies
pacman -Rd hal
it will give you some warning about the dependencies, ignore it since we are reinstalling hal in a few steps.
First i tried to follow Raymano's link, obviously it showed me nothing in the browser so I thought it might be a broken link.
So I downloaded the source tarball from here http://hal.freedesktop.org/releases/hal-0.5.10.tar.gz
unpacked it changed the /tools/hal-storage-mount.c as per Milfadoodle's instructions.
at first I tried to compile directly from source, the process would finish without a glitch though after reboot nothing changed, as if hal weren't
installed, i guess there were issues with paths. anyway read on
Then repacked the source in tarball, copied it to /var/abs/extra/system/hal and modified the PKGBUILD as follows

Not sure y, but all of a sudden, a few days back, my website is not working with IE. I use Firefox and it works fine. Others I know can't view it and they click on something and it takes them to some Mac error page. Any thoughts on this? I had my wife even update her IE to 8 and restart her windows machine. nada! cheers!

Spaces not working with Mice

For some reason, I can no longer active Spaces with my mice. It says it's on, but for some reason when I try to assign a button my mouse doesn't respond at all. I can only active it with a manual keyboard key such as F17.
Any ideas, why it's not working with both of my mice?

I understand that you are frustrated, but it will help us all to help you if you create a Signature with all the info, and specs of your PC...As this info will keep us from having to guess for example, What Operating system are you running? Windows, Linux?, if Windows what version?, What type and speed Memory are you using? What type of CPU, a P-4, a Celeron, what speed?.ect. Robin, I have the 4S too. Here's wha I've been doing. Well, I am downloading wma books, but it is super time consuming and annoying. First, shut off genius in your preferences in iTunes. Also change to spoken podcast for speed. Then, you start to transfer from Overdrive. It will create a playlist with your book title. Open up books though because you need to keep an eye on it. It may download like three parts and then you may have a grey one. When you get the grey, cancel the transfer, delete the greyed part, exit iTunes, re-enter iTunes, and then try to download the remaining book parts. I usually have to re-enter iTunes three or four different times during a book. When your book is downloaded, all black and none grey, open up the playlist folder and double check that all parts made it in there. If not, carry them from the books folder to the playlist and then move it into numerical order.
Re non bookmarking problem. I now have a new habit of checking what part I am on before i shut off my phone or switch to another book. It does save where you were, it just doesn't show you. For instance, if I start part three and then play music, and then go back to the book playlist, it will appear as if we are back to the beginning, but if I go to part three, it will start up from where I was. So, just start checking and then it is easy. I am flabbergasted that no other proper solution has been offered by Overdrive. This has been a problem since October. I also wish they would acknowledge the problem on their website as well as post what version number of update they have. I have 3.2.1.0 and think that's current. Does anyone have newer than this. Good luck, and happy commuting!
An easy, quick workaround is to plug external speakers into your laptop and take it with you in the car. A bit unwieldy, but I can't commute without books.

Define 'don't work' exactly. Does it post, can you get into bios?. Must always clear cmos when changing cpu's-have you done that?

The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

Application is not working with mouse

Dear All,
We have a strange issue in the our application (Oracle form) in the one of our client machine.
Some times the forms are not able to work with the mouse but is able to work with the keyboard. After one or two machine restart its again working. When the issue occur we can able to work in other applications using mouse.
Our Applications server is in Other country and client are accessing from India.
This occurs for some user and not for all.
Application server Version 10.1.2.0.2.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
Java Plug-in version 1.6.0_31 .
Please any info will help us lot.

But since its occurring for some users (perticulary indian users) and some times. And also its occurring in production environment not in development environment.
Even the java control panel is not working with mouse.
For other country customers everything working fine.
So its difficult for me to apply the patch with these uncertainties.
Checking with fresh java installation and let you know the status.
