Speed Issue back Yet again ! BT HELP!
a few weeks back i had a issue with the speed of my line. It was down to a netowrk engineer working in the error.
My Speed returned back to the Good old speed after several days.
But today my internet went and now my speeds are down in the dumps again.
It seems to be BT in LCTOD is having more and more problems time after time after time i am getting sick of it.

New the internet disconnected over 4 hours ago and since then it has been sluggy, Its not only effecting my web surfing but also my game playing.
I checked my e-mails no sign of FUP or Even the 80GB warning nothing (80GB i haven't even got yet long way off).
I urge BT to solve this NOW!!!! this is going to be the very last time. I'll go back to the CEO's office if its not sorted and will tell them that i'll be leaving then prompty making my call to OFCOM and Watch dog this is getting to be joke.
I now laugh at BT adverts, We are the Worlds Leading Fast internet provider (SORRY BUT YOUR NOT!)
Please fix this problem.

I have checked a few things on your line this morning to see if there is anything obvious that could be slowing down your connection throughput speed.
The line hasn't been capped as you say and your exchange has hasn't been reported for having capacity issues, which is a fairly common factor in probems with slow throughput.
The stats that you have posted show the downstream speed and IP profile are all working well so at the moment the speed result looks purely the result of internet congestion. I note that you ran the test quite late in the evening, right in the middle of our peak times, so I would guess congestion was the cause.
Try and run a few more tests via www.speedtester.bt.com, if possible one before peaks times, 5pm-midnight, and one during so I can see a comparison.
Please post the results up

Garbage broadband speeds in Shetland yet again!
Yet again I find myself on here complaining about the garbage level of broadband speeds up here in Shetland. Its been on a go-slow all day and BT once again deny any problem exists.

Really getting fed up waiting now, why not just put the REAL dates up to start with?
Not impressed at all BTThe easiest way to get an estimate is to try and find your local cabinet. Sit next to it and watch what activity happens to it.
As an example, I am connected to the Milton Keynes exchange in Fenny Stratford, but live in Newton Longiville some 5Km from the exchange. Dates came and went for activation until in Nov 10 Open reach started work installing the new cabinets next to the old ones. My cabinate was lucky enough to be upgraded. Only one of two that were.
The dates continued to move around, and activity continued on the cabinets. When power was then connected we got an activation date of end of April 11 and and install date of 12th May.
So from when the first lot of work started it took 6mths before activation.

Another problem... yet again HELP!
I am having yet another issue with my blackberry curve 8530. I already am aware the battery (CS-2) needs to be replaced due to the fact that I need to charge it 3 times a day. Additionally however, it reboots itself 2 times a day also.. Requiring me to charge it 5 times a day now. Once it reboots the battery becomes completely drained of course. Is there any specific cause to the phone rebooting? Or is it possibly linked to my battery needing to be replaced? I just don't want to spend $50 on a new battery if my phone reboot issue is unfixable.

You can rule out any possible software issue that may be causing this by backing up your data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software and performing a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software. For further instructions, please see the following KB articles.

I have had a reinstall nightmare getting my loops back they are in the apple library, I can access them through the media browser but I only have a few available through the loop browser, how do I get them all back there again? please help

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located. -
everytime i try to it keeps looping thru to verify my account, so i do and then try to download and it loops me right back thru again to verify my account. HELP ME PLEASE

I believe I have a problem when opening up my documents in finder. where upon I can view all my folders but with yet another Documents folder within this group, if I then click on this second Documents folder yet again a repeat of the do'cs folder appears. I have tried to merge the Documents folders into one but after a morning and a few hours later having completed the merge when I reopened the folders the problem was still there. Help.

Frustratingly, since I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10, I too am having the worst problems with WiFi dropping out. I've never had this problem before on my iMac 27-inch mid 2011 model. Turning WiFi off and then back on again sometimes works. Help please. I've already tried a lot of your suggested fixes, but without success. Why hasn't Apple Fixed this?
Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Take the applicable steps in this support article. The Wireless Diagnostics program generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
Step 2
Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Step 3
If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. If you find that Wi-Fi works better with Bluetooth disabled, you should use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. Your router may not support it; in that case, you need a new router.
Step 4
Open the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences and unlock the settings, if necessary. Select the Power Adapter tab, if there is one. Uncheck the box marked
Wake for Wi-Fi network access
if it's checked.
Step 5
Open the Network pane in System Preferences and make a note of your settings in the Wi-Fi service. It may be helpful to take screenshots of the various tabs in the preference pane. If the preference pane is locked, unlock it by clicking the padlock icon and entering your administrator password. Delete Wi-Fi from the service list on the left by selecting it and clicking the minus-sign button at the bottom. Then recreate the service by clicking the plus-sign button and following the prompts.
Step 6
In the Wi-Fi settings, select
Advanced... ▹ TCP/IP ▹ Configure IPv6: Link-local
Click OK and then Apply.
Step 7
Reset the System Management Controller.
Step 8
Reset the PRAM.
Step 9
Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
Step 10
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service center. -
I have 2 hotmail accounts. They worked fine the first month or so, now about 20 seconds after I sign on, it goes to an send message screen but I cannot send. When I go back to inbox, it resets to the send screen again. HELP.

Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

My iPhone 5 frequently crackles and pops loudly during calls (while using speaker phone, as well as not using speaker phone.) After being inspected by techs at the Genius Bar, my phone has been replaced twice; thus, I am currently on my third iPhone 5. Incredibly, I am, yet again, experiencing the exact same issue. Short of getting my fourth iPhone, is anyone aware of a solution?
if it's the exact same issue, either it's a problem with your service or with your software if you're restoring from a backup each time. it's pretty darn near impossible for 3 phones to have the same exact hardware issue, so that's unlikely. is this an at&t iphone? if so, are you continuing to use the same sim card? if so, get a new one and try that out. if that's not the issue, restore the phone as new and make a few phone calls. if the issue's gone away, there's something wrong with your backup
