Speedgrade does not respond when opened

Just installed CS6 Master Collection on a:
HP xw8600
Win7 64
Dual Xeon X5460 QC Processors
16GB RAM
nVideo FX 3700
Driver Ver. 305.93 Dated 8/2012
Intuos 3 tablet
Speedgrade will open, but it is unresponsive to mouse clicks. I can not click anywhere in the UI and do anything.
It says it's "Running" in task manager.
I can close it by right clicking on the Taskbar Icon and clicking close.
I ran the Adobe updates after CS 6 loaded. I also uninstalled SG, and reinstalled with no effect.
Anyone have this issue? Any help or insight wourl be great.

After I read your post, I pulled the mouse off of the WACOM surface, and just used a mouse in the front USB of the computer.
It worked. Didn't need to remove the tablet.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

ITunes does not respond when opening, but works in safe mode

Hey there
So over the last two days or so, my ITunes (Latest version 11.1.4.) on MacBook Pro opens fine but then as soon as I click whatever, it gets stuck on the spinning wheel. I have now read that you can open it in Safe Mode by shift-option-command and click on iTunes on the desktop, which works fine, but is not the ultimate solution.
Would you please have any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this?

b noir, just to confirm - the "Quartz Composer Visualizer.bundle" is working very well on my Mavericks MBP with 11.1.4. Only the Music Visualizers bundles, that need iTunes to run 32bit mode, will no longer run in iTunes 11.1.4., e.g. the iVisualize bundle and the visualizers "Be Composed", etc.
Perhaps is something in the iTunes Visualizer folder, that uses quartz filters requiring advanced features of the graphics card, and therefore disabled in Safe Mode.

System Preferences not responding when opening desktop

After installing Lion 10.7, I find that whenever I try to change the desktop wallpaper in system preferences, it freezes and I have to force quit it.
I tried to find the systempreferences.plist, as seen from google searches, but I can't find it anywhere, and those seem to be solutions for SL, L or Tiger.
Help appreciated.

I've been having the same issue with system preferences in osx lion freezing and not doing anything for the past week. Your post solved the problem; all I had to do was move the iphoto library and the photo booth library to the desktop, then I moved them back to my pictures folder in the finder window. Now system preferences works like a charm, even if I restart the system the system preferences utilities are all accessible.
This solved the problem; whereas other posts that had me use disk utility to repair the hard drive or repair the disk permissions didn't solve the issue.
This now saves me a call to apple tech support

It has to do with a problem accessing the images on the home>images folder. To solve it, just move its content (iphoto library included) to another place. Then, restart System Preferences. Moving your iPhoto library to another location seems to fix the problem. I am sure Apple will issue an update to correct this problem. But, for now this seems to work for me.

All in one is successfully installed on wireless network and SW successfully installed on Windows XP computer yet printer does not print. Get no error message other than document failed to print. So gald I'm not the only one. I have been fighting this crappy HP printer for MONTHS also. Everything says a OK goody goody but printer fails to print every two to three weeks.

Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. If you see the silver apple it's rebooting. Let it do that and see if you're unfrozen.

ITunes does not respond when I try to play a movie

I just installed the latest iTunes update onto my Windows 64-bit computer and now, whenever I try to watch a movie on iTunes it freezes and does not respond. I have to start the task manager and end the program manually. I have unistalled iTunes and reinstalled it but I still face the problem of iTunes freezing and not responding. I have a pretty good collection of movies and would love to watch them cause well I paid for them but i cant because it keeps FREEZING. Although it's not such a good bet with a freeze as with the "iTunes has stopped working" messages, it would do no harm to try the following user tip:

I was in the initial stages of setting up the project, so I've trashed it and started new. Trying to import files from DVD. I will post new as I have a question involving importing DVD.

You can try this - it will not hurt - not sure if it will help.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

ITunes 9 does not work when opened.

I first installed iTunes at iTunes 8, but when I upgraded it to iTunes 9, it started having problems. At first, it was running smoothly, but now, whenever I open it, iTunes freezes, and if I try to close it, my computer always keeps saying it is not responding. Whenever I plug in my iTouch(2g, 8gb, 3.1.1), iTunes never opens automatically anymore. I've tried reinstalling it a couple of times, but it still keeps having the same problem happen. Now, I can't sync anything from my iTouch to the computer anymore ):
Also, it doesn't crash or anything when I open it. No error messages. It just stays there and I can't click anything. I have to alt-4 it, then the error message pops up.

Opening it from the applications folder end up with the same behavior.
I was finally able to get iTunes 9 to start by doing the following:
1. Turn off the machine
2. Remove iPod from the dock (3rd Gen iPod with Firewire dock)
3. Restart the system
4. Start iTunes 9
My guess is iTunes is trying to do something during the first start up that crashes while trying to talk to the iPod in the dock.
