SpeedGrade minimum CPU requirement

Hello,
Will SpeedGrade function with previous generation intel CPUs such as Intel Core2 Duo E8400 / Quad Q9650 running at 3GHz?
Thanx.../John

The main item for SpeedGrade isn't the CPU, it is the GPU: it necessary a discrete GPU with at least 1 GB VRam.

According to Windows System Requirements for JDK and JRE the min. CPU requirements for JDK 7 is a Pentium II 266 MHz.
    A Pentium II is a i686 CPU.
However, the installation packages for Oracle JDK 7 available at Java SE Development Kit 7 - Downloads | Oracle Technology Network | Oracle show i585 package names. Should they not be called i686 to be correct?
    Thanks.

Actually they show 'i586' in some names.

Probably - it if concerns you that much just use one of the 'contact us' links on that page and report it to Oracle.

  • What are the minimum CPU and Memory requirements for R12 Vision instance?

We are in the process of trying to figure out what the minimum hardware requirements are for installing the R12 Vision instance. This Vision instance would only have 5 or less concurrent users. We may have to order a new server and we are wondering what the minimum CPU and memory would be? Oracle Support will not give us this information.
We aleady know how much disk space it will need.

  • What are the minimum system requirements for GB 4?

What are the minimum system requirements for GB 4? I did search this forum but wasn't able to find a direct answer.
I'm running version 3.0.4 successfully on a lowly G4 733 but I suspect this is as far as I can go.
I'm updating to iDvd'08 and was also wondering if I can safely update to GB4 or not (from GB 3.0.7) on a G4 733 mhz Digital Audio. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. My guess is that I cannot but I'd like to confirm prior to attempting any further updates in GB.

I try my best to play it safely; always. And you were right, everything worked on the ext. FW HD flawlessly ...... truly amazing software!
(I did happen to check the activity Monitor w/in Utilities and it showed GB4 using about 60-67% of the CPU on a G4 733 ..... I'm assuming this is normal).

there is cell phones with better specs than the min requirements so both your posts are useless.
there is a standard to uphold and that is exactly what i always trying to do my best at.

o... lets just have everyone install windows 8 because its new and this page says it can handle it...
lets make it 64bit too because higher numbers are cooler...  because it wont matter if its suppose to have 32bit...

  • Minimum system requirements for installing Oracle Application Testing Suite

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me what are the minimum system requirements for intalling Oracle Application Testing Suite?
    Thanks in Advance

    From the release notes (12.1.0.2).
    System Requirements
Oracle Application Testing Suite has the following system requirements:
    4
    3.1 Oracle Functional Testing/OpenScript
Oracle Functional Testing’s OpenScript scripting platform has the following system
    requirements:
    ■ Operating System (32-bit and 64-bit versions): Windows XP, Windows Vista,
    Windows 2003, Windows 7, Windows 2008
    ■ Memory: Minimum 1 GB
    ■ System: x86, 32-bit or 64-bit processor, 2.6 GHz or faster
    ■ Disk Space: 4 GB minimum
    ■ Browser: Internet Explorer 7.x, 8.x., 9.x and Firefox 3.5/3.6, 6.x
    3.2 Oracle Load Testing
Oracle Load Testing has the following system requirements:
    ■ Operating System (32-bit and 64-bit versions): Windows XP, Windows Vista,
    Windows 2003, Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2. Oracle Enterprise
    Linux 5.1, 5.2 64, 4u8.
    ■ Memory: Minimum 2 GB.
    ■ System: x86, 32-bit or 64-bit processor, 2.6 GHz or faster
    ■ Disk Space: 10 GB minimum free (at least 3 GB free on the system drive)
    ■ Browser: Internet Explorer 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, Firefox 3.5/3.6, 6.x
    ■ Database: Oracle EE 10g or 11g, XE 10g
    ■ Application Server: Oracle WebLogic 11g (10.3.5.0). Oracle Application Testing
Suite requires the standard WebLogic Server installation (which includes jrocket
jdk.). It does not support generic versions of WebLogic Server installation (such as
    those that use wls1035_generic.jar).
    ■ Oracle Load Testing Agent also supported on Linux 32-bit & 64-bit, in addition to
Windows 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems listed above
Note: These are minimum requirements only and actual
requirements for the Oracle Load Testing Server will vary depending
on the size and configuration of your load test. If you are running
larger load tests, of greater than 1000 Virtual Users, you should
consider deploying Oracle Load Testing on a faster server class
    machine with additional RAM recommended.
Note: Oracle recommends running the Oracle Load Testing Server
and Agents on separate systems for production load testing. The
amount of memory required on the Oracle Load Testing Agent
systems may increase based on the number of Virtual Users that will
be assigned to run on each Agent. For more information, visit the
QA/Testing Technology Center on Oracle Technology Network or
    contact your Oracle representative.
    5
    3.3 Oracle Test Manager
Oracle Test Manager has the following system requirements:
    ■ Operating System (32-bit and 64-bit versions): Windows XP, Windows Vista,
    Windows 2003, Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2. Oracle Enterprise
    Linux 5.1, 5.2, 4u8.
    ■ Memory: Minimum 2 GB.
    ■ System: x86, 32-bit or 64-bit processor, 2.6 GHz or faster
    ■ Disk Space: 10 GB minimum free (at least 3 GB free on the system drive)
    ■ Browser: Internet Explorer 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, Firefox 3.5/3.6, 6.x
    ■ Database: Oracle EE 10g or 11g, XE 10g
    ■ Application Server: Oracle WebLogic 11g (10.3.5.0). Oracle Application Testing
Suite requires the standard WebLogic Server installation (which includes jrocket
jdk.). It does not support generic versions of WebLogic Server installation (such as
    those that use wls1035_generic.jar).
    3.4 Additional Notes
The following are additional notes about system requirements:
    ■ The ATS installer can automatically install and configure an Oracle 10g Express
Edition (XE) database for use with Oracle Load Testing and Oracle Test Manager.
Although this is useful for demos, for production usage switching to Oracle's 11g
Enterprise Edition database is highly recommended. Oracle 11g Standard Edition
and Oracle 10g EE or SE are also supported.
    ■ System memory requirements do not take into account other processes that may
be running and using memory on your system, reducing free uncommitted
    memory available.
    ■ When installed on the same machine, Oracle Load Testing and Oracle Test
Manager will run on the same server and use shared system resources. Oracle
Functional Test/OpenScript is a separate application that have its own memory
    and CPU requirements.
    ■ The ATS products will run in 32-bit compatibility mode when installed on 64-bit
operating systems. It is possible for Oracle Application Testing Suite to be installed
on an existing WebLogic server. However, if the pre-installed WebLogic server is
JRockit plus WebLogic (64-bit) environment, some functions in Oracle Application
Testing Suite will not work properly. Oracle Application Testing Suite can be
    installed on a 32-bit WebLogic, but not a 64-bit.
    ■ The legacy Oracle Functional Testing, VB-based scripting platform and associated
components (such as Job Scheduler) are no longer included with the ATS installer
Note: These are minimum requirements only and actual
requirements for Oracle Test Manager will vary depending on the
quantity of test assets stored and number of concurrent users
accessing the application. If you have a large quantity of test cases,
requirements or issues stored and/or are deploying Oracle Test
Manager for a team greater than 10 users, you should consider
deploying Oracle Test Manager on a faster server class machine with
    additional RAM recommended.

  • Cisco Prime infrastructure 2.0 cpu requirement

    Hi,
i'm reading the doc at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/2.0/quickstart/guide/cpi_qsg.html#wp46865
and I'm searching for the CPU requirement for a Standard installation. From table 2 in this document, I will need 16 virtual CPUS but there is no frequency mentioned. Does someone know what is the minimum CPU frequency to run PI 2.0 correctly?
    Thanks
    Theo

The number of vCPU's depends on your ESXi host, either your limited to 8 or you will have 16, 32, etc.  The vCPU amount is defined on the VM or PI2.0 and you can change it after the VM has been installed.  PI 2.0 has an Express (4 vCPU), Standard and Pro which require 16 vCPU.  There is a custome express that uses the Express ova (4 vCPU), but you need to increase that to 8 vCPU.  Hope that helps.

  • [SOLVED] - Minimum Hardware Requirements ??

I've searched the forum and used Google to search for the Minimum Hardware requirements for Arch Linux (archlinux-2011.08.19-core-i686).
References in the searches state that the information is in the Install Guide, but I can't locate it in there.  I do see the reference to the CPU type.
Some references in the searches state 128M RAM and others state 192M?  Has this been updated for the latest Version?  Or, has this information
been moved or deleted from the Install Guide/Wiki?  If so, where is it located?  Please help me find the Current Hardware Specifications.
    Thanks.

"A Pentium Pro, Pentium II or AMD Athlon (K7) processor or higher is required. (technically, cpu's without the cmov instruction such as AMD K6 and via C3 are also i686, but we use gcc and it uses cmov instructions)."
    # cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep flags
If there's a "cmov" in there it should be fine.

  • Itunes won't let me create an account because it says that I do not meet the minimum age requirements.  I was born in 1973.

My daughter is 13 yrs old.  She was born in August 1997.  When I tried to set up her itunes account, I mistakenly typed in the year of my son's birthday which is 1999....which would make her too young.  When I tried to create the account again, with the correct year of 1997, it is giving me a message that it "does not meet the minimum age requirements".  But it does.  What do I do to fix this?  I got her the Ipod for her birthday and haven't given it to her yet and I wanted to get some songs on it for her before I gave it to her.  What can I do?

Then I have no idea what to say (you did change names and dates I assume?)

  • Final Cut Studio 2 Minimum System Requirements

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi....You're my only hope
I own a Dual 867 MHz Power PC G4 with 1.25 GB of ram and want to purchase Final Cut Studio 2, OS X v10.5 Leopard and Adobe Photoshop CS3. I know Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Leopard are compatible, However what concerns me is Final Cut Studio 2. These are the Minimum System Requirements stated [A Mac computer with a 1.25GHz or faster PowerPC G4 or G5, Intel Core Duo, Intel Core 2 Duo, or Intel Xeon processor] So my question is would Final Cut Studio 2 work efficiently or even at all on my computer? My thinking is with collectively 1734 GHz power it should work, But i could also be delusional. I really would hate to end of buying it only to find put it won't work.
    Thanks in advance!!!

If you're LUCKY, you might find a replacement processor card for your MDD Powermac G4 - (ideally dual 1.42GHz) - maybe eBay? - maybe from a Mac "breakers yard"? or someone selling off parts from a blown motherboard example?
It's a drop-in replacement, assuming you're OK with a screwdriver and replacement thermal paste.

  • Minimum steps required for Change Management and Incident management

    Hello experts,
Does anyone have a check list of the absolute minimum steps required for getting Change Management and Incident management functioning in Solution Manager.
I just need it to function with creating changes and incidents and be able to assign them, change their status and close them.
The purpose is to get an idea if this is something for us to use. If we then find it useable, then we will go for a full scale implementation using official guides, education etc.
I just need an absolute minimum guide for demonstrating the functions, and if you guys have any recommendations, things we should pay special attention to or other experiences feel free to tell me.
    Thanks in advance.

Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • 'Use minimum version required by the Flex SDK' setting question

    Hi,
Can someone explain why after downloading the latest stable Hero SDK (build 19786), which only has fp10.2 support in the framwork/libs/player directory, would the 'Use minimum version required by the Flex SDK' build property still tell Flash Builder to build for fp10.1?
In my flex-config.xml file from this new SDK, I see the target-player attribute is set to 10.2. Is there a bug in burrito that would fail for that value to be used?

No. That should work. Builder also reads the minimum value from flex-config.xml.
Just to check - you added this as a new SDK in Preferences -> Flash Builder -> Installed Flex SDKs and either made that the default SDK or changed the project to use the new SDK, right?
