Speeding Up Movie Playback on Ipad (Like Quicktime can do)

Hello,
I watch a lot of training videos for my work. On my laptop I can speed them up using Quicktime's built in AV features.
Is there a way to do the same thing on iPad?
Or is there an application that will speed up Video playback?
Thanks

Azul can speed up video playback, but I'm not exactly sure how to open videos on the device in the app.  You can download videos directly to the app though.

  • I downloaded 2 movies on my ipad. Where can I find them?

I downloaded 2 movies on my ipad. Where can I find them?

In the video icon on your homescreen (on the ipad)
If not, it may be in icloud (just look at the recent purchases in itunes)

  • Download a movie in my IPad but I can not see it, I can only see it in my notebook.

    Hello,
Download a movie in my IPad but I can not see it. I can only see it in muy notebook in iTunes.

Did you download it on the iPad ? If so then it should be in the Videos app.

  • HT3819 How do I watch a rented movie on my TV?  I downloaded the movie to my iPad, but I can't get it on my tv.

I rented a movie from iTunes.  It downloaded to my iPad, but I can't get it on my TV.  What do I need to do to watch it on my tv with Apple TV?

Hello, be sure you have your Apple TV selected as the designated viewing source. There a couple ways to do this.   While watching the video click on the square with the triangle in it, select the name of your Apple TV. Or, double click any time, scroll to the left twice to reveal the same symbol, and select your Apple TV.

  • HT1657 Ok this will sound super stupid but I have got two hired movies on my iPad but I can't get them to play! Help

I need help.  I hired two movies which are sitting on my iPad but I can't get them to play!    Yes it sounds stupid but how do I get it to start.  There are no button/icons anywhere

    Vague.
    You opened the videos app?
    You selected the movie?
    What happened?

  • I bought a movie on my iPad, and I can't watch it.

I bought a movie on my iPad. It said it was fully downloaded. When I went to watch it, the play button was replaced with a stop button (on the page that shows a picture and the director and description). Why can't I watch it? It's the newest Mission Impossible movie. If I can't watch it, I want my money back.

Try quitting the videos app and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, try starting the Videos app from the search feature and see if that helps.
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.
If that is unsuccessful try resetting the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Help!  I just downloaded a rental movie to my ipad and I can't find it to play it.  Any suggestions?

  • HT1657 I purchased 6 ITunes rental movies on my IPad, but I can't get them to play. Please advise ASAP

I purchased rental movies for my vacation. I am on plane now. Went to Video Rentals on IPad. Pressed Play. Will not ply please advise ASAP!

Try searching for the name of one of your rentals on the iPad's spotlight search screen (pull down the centre of the home screen in iOS 7, swipe your first home screen to the right in iOS 6 and below), type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app via the taskbar and then re-open it and see if they play : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the Videos app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • I just downloaded a movie to my iPad and now can't find it!

First time to download a movie,. I looked in the downloads section of iTunes but it only has my music....

    Try the Videos app instead.
    Regards.

  • HT203433 It's been over 12 hours its processing my downloaded movie. I deleted the movie from my ipad but I can't delete my download and restart it.

    Same as questions.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
    If that doesn't work:
    •  Log out of your iTunes store account.  Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
    • Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
    • After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Deleting movies on an iPad

If I delete a movie on my iPad can access it again because I bought it on iTunes? Would it just delete off my iPad and then if I want to watch it again, I would download it off iCloud or sync up with my iTunes account on my computer right? Just checking..

If you downloaded the movie in iTunes on your computer and then transfered it to your iPad then the movie is still in iTunes on your computer  - you can remove it from the iPad and then sync it back to the iPad when you want to watch it again.
If you only have the movie on the iPad, if you delete it, you will have to buy it again. You cannot download movies again from iCloud like you can download purchased apps, music, books and TV shows.
