Danke.

Problems upgrading raw converter for cs6
I have a cs6 license and recently had an update applied to the raw converted to handle my sony a7s. I also wanted to upgrade the raw converted for my cs6 version on an mac I use at a second home. It did do an upgrade but not high enough to deal with the new camera.
I'm on a mac mini running osx 10.6.8. When I try to open a sony arw file in camera raw if gives a dialog box indicating it can't open the file and gives a link to a spread sheet showing the minimum version of camera raw of 8.5 to open the a7s arw file. If I look at the version of camera raw I'm using I get 7.0.0.308. To do an update for the raw converter while I am in bridge I go to help and use the update item. I did an update to 7.0.0.308 when I originally ran the update option but hat is obviously not high enough to deal with the sony arw files. I basically did the same thing on my main computer and had no problem.
Any ideas? Here is an installer for camera raw 8.3, so at least you'll have the newest version that mac os x 10.6.8 supports.

If the above doesn't work, you can try a manual install by following the instructions in the following adobe kb.
Adobe Camera Raw Help | Camera Raw/DNG Converter 8.4 on Mac OS 10.6, Windows XP, and Vista -
I've just installed CS6 creative suite mainly for photoshop CS6. It comes with camera raw 7.0.something, but need something newer to use my canon 6d. When I download camera raw 8.5 and install the raw converter doesnt work anymore, wont even open or isnt available anymore in the plugin list. Tried to reinstall everything for a few times, but nothing helps.
When I search for updates the raw converter doesnt get update automaticly. Frustrating, is costing me the whole morning.

I can't open Sony NEX-5 raw files with PS-CS6 and latest raw converter plug-in 7.1.
When I try to open raw files from Sony NEX-5 instead of going to PhotoShop like all my NEF files, they go to another software suite that I have (On-One). I am running MAC OS 10.7.5 with latest PS-CS6 and latest raw converter plug-in 7.1. On-One seems to hi-jack these Sony raw files and won't give me the opportunity for the adjustments that I get with the Adobe Raw File converter. Any help??
Great news!

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

The Nikon D600 is supported by Camera Raw 7.3 and later which is compatible with CS6.
In CS6, click Help > Updates and your Camera Raw should be updated.

How do I replace beta raw converter 8.5 with 8.3 for CS6 not a CC user

CS6 user not a CC user...tnxIn a help system, you likely have bookmarks and such, other wise printing to a new PDF with expanding to fit would be a simple approach. Actually it is probably best to go back to the original and change paper size, making a new PDF.
Other options include using the crop tool to change the paper size. Unfortunately, the body does not generally expand to match the text. It may be that just printing to a new PDF would be the simple root to go since you are talking about a print version, not a linked version. Be sure to select the paper in the printer properties and then select print to printer margins. This will give a large print version. If you want to keep the smaller printer size, you really need to go back and deal with the original and make a new PDF. If you just make a copy of the original, you would have both versions available. -

Only Apple will know when updates will be released. If you want an educated guess, look at the support page for updates and downloads.

Recently, there have been new raw support releases for new cameras every one or two months. -
How do i open my RAW files in CS6?
I recently bought the Nikon D800 and cannot open/import my RAW files into cs6. So i did some research and found that you have to convert them into DNG's that are compatible. I downloaded the Adobe DNG converter and that program is also telling me that there are no found camera files that are supported...
Can anyone help?!?!DNG Converter 7.1 RC (beta) can convert D800 files. It's available at Labs.Adobe.com which also has ACR 7.1 RC that will process D800 files in Photoshop CS6.

Cannot open Olympus OM-D E-M5 Raw files in CS6. [was:camera raw?]
I am trying to open ORF raw files, but PS6 can't open them. I am at Camera raw 7 and the update file says I am fully updated. There are higher versions but I don't know how to access them.
Are you sure you mean Photoshop version 6 the is a very old version of Photoshop before ACR existed. ACR first became available as a extra cost plug-in for Photoshop version 7. ACR started to be shipped with Photoshop with Photoshop CS. Each version since Photoshop CS has a newer version of ACR which is not compatible with older versions of Photoshop. So
CS ACR version is 2.4
CS2 ACR version 3.7
CS3 ACR version 4.6
CS4 ACR version 5.7
CS5 ACR version 6.7
CS6 and CC ACR version 8.4 however the new features in ACR 8.4 for CC are crippled in CS6. CS6 just get the new Camera support.
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows
If you have CS6 use menu help>Updates it should find the ACR 8.4 for CS6 and update your installation. If it does not you can down load it and the DNG converter. However don't convert to DNG just use your OFR RAW files.

If you do mean Photoshop version 6 you need to see if Olympus has a RAW converter for Photoshop version 6 for your camera. -
Lightroom Photoshop and Camera Raw Converter
Hi,
I use Adobe creativ Cloud with Lightroom 5 and PS CC CS6. And I installed Topaz Adjust as a Plugin. On my Computer is Windows 8.1, 64 Bit installed,
I tryd to open a Photo *.CR2 in order to develop it with the Camera Raw Converter from PS CS6, but the converter does not start, it opens only PS CS6
Can any body help me with this Problem?
Thanks a lot,
TrustyThe support for that camera was added in the very latest release of Lightroom, version 5.7.1. Having downloaded Camera Raw 8.7.1 will have no effect on Lightroom because Lightroom doesn't use the Camera Raw plug-in. You need to make sure you have updated Lightroom to the very latest release in order to have support for that camera.

LR4 raw converter compatible with CS5 extended?
Hi right now I have LR3 and CS5 extended which is all I need but LR4 seems a real improvement. However CS5 extended was expensive and manages everything I want to do so will the raw converter in LR4 be directly compatible with CS5 or will Adobe insist that I buy CS6 to attain current compatibility?
exactly. But the plugin for Photoshop is not available as yet. As far as I know that has to await PS CS6.
Lightroom is a complete stand alone program and while ACR and LR use the same process engine you need Photoshop CSx with the ACR plugin while LR has ACR as a core component.
Lightroom does not need any other Adobe product installed on you computer for it to be fully functional. -
Update raw converter photoshop CS5.5
i can't use update 7.1 raw converter dng, for CS5.5. no other update seems available anymore since CS6 came out, please advise.
Nothing to fix because nothing is wrong. ACR 7.0 and above requires CS6 or LR4.

Is there a raw converter update available for Nikno D610 for Phoptshop CS6?
Note the restrictions for the latest Camera Raw (8.4) on CS6:
Please note that Camera Raw 8.4 and DNG Converter 8.4 will not work on Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OSX 10.6. Impacted customers can continue either update to compatible operating system or continue to use Camera Raw 8.3 for Photoshop CS6. Photoshop CS6 customers on Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion), Mac OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or Mac OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) will not be impacted and will continue to receive updated camera support through future ACR 8.x dot releases. -
Raw converter stopped working and is missing -- running CC and Windows Vista SP 2.
I have reinstalled Photoshop twice from the cloud. RAW converter still missing. Please help.
If I try to install the 7.1 Converter download, I get a failed message saying this update is not for me. The 8.3 DNG converter installed, but the problem persists.ACR 8.3 is what you want, that is the current version for Photoshop CC. You can check the installed ACR version in Help > About Plug-In > Camera Raw (or open the CC desktop app and see if it reports Photoshop as up to date).
You don't have any need for the DNG converter, since you have Photoshop CC and thus the very latest ACR version with all the newest camera support.
(The DNG converter is a standalone application, completely independent from Photoshop. It converts native camera files to the universal DNG format, so that they can be read by older ACR versions that don't have direct native support for that camera).
If ACR 8.3 is indeed installed, but not working as it should, or even missing, that's a different problem.
