Spilt coffee on keyboard, esc key doesn't work...how can i fix it?

i spilt coffee on my macbook air keyboard and the keys worked fine uptil recently. all other keys that had coffee spilt on work apart from the esc key. how can i get this fixed? preferably without cost...

Unfortunatley, short of shooting your MBA with a gun, spilling coffee on the keyboard is just about the worst thing you can do. Primarily, because there is often fatal damage, and not much you can do about it short of taking it in to a Authorized Service Provider for major systems replacement.
While it was still working, the damage was probably limited to just the keyboard, but by not swiftly attending to it, you may have damaged the mainboard. It is possible that a shorted key is preventing operation, and for this you might be lucky. Get it in to service right away, and I mean today. The fact that you can't easily disconnect the battery means that the unit is in severe jeopardy of further damage that might make replacement of the whole device, the most reasonable option, if the damage progresses. If it is still repairable, you may have not the luxury of time to wait.

You may have a look at the list below. The easy ones are at the top.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Toshiba Laptop Webcam/Mic doesn't work, how can I fix it?

It just won't start up, it's simply a black screen rather then my face. I also get a message saying that a USB device is not recognized?
I've looked into the Device Manager and uninstalled the Webcam Driver and restarted my computer. Still doens't work, infact now it doesn't even recognize that I have a webcam anymore at all. I thought restarting my computer would reinstall it.
Also, I don't know the particular model number of my laptop but I have the original box so I can guess at what it could be. PSK98C-00F001 is probably it but looking it up on http://support.toshiba.com/ says that it's not valid.
How do I fix this?

Still doens't work, infact now it doesn't even recognize that I have a webcam anymore at all. I thought restarting my computer would reinstall it.
Have you tried resetting the bios?
Click HERE - Reset the BIOS to factory defaults settings. This will allow you to re-detect all components inside the laptop including your webcam.
BTW: Once you are inside Setup Utility [BIOS] go to Advanced > System configuration > WEB CAMERA must be ENABLE.

Has probado a calibrarlo por si acaso? Para hacerlo tienes que abrir una de las aplicaciones preinstaladas (Contactos es la que suelo usar yo). Una vez abierta, pulsa el botón de encendido del dispositivo hasta que aparezca el cuadro de dialogo de apagado. Luego pulsa el botón de inicio (el que no te funciona) hasta que salgas de la aplicación (el cuadro de dialogo de apagado también desaparecerá).
Si así no lo consigues te sugiero que te acerques a un Apple Store o a un servicio técnico autorizado.

In general, if you installed any third party anti-virus utilities, get rid of them. They can cause problems like this.
There is no need to post your question multiple times. If you don't get an answer right away give it some time, a few hours at least, and please deselect your caps lock key. This will increase the likelihood of receiving competent assistance.
