SPlanner shows appointments an hour earlier than outlook

My S4 Calendar has started syncing all my Outlook appointments an hour earlier than in Outlook.  I was recently (a month ago) in the Pacific Time Zone (I live in the Eastern Time Zone).  I have traveled in the past with no problem - my appointments always go back to the correct time.  This time, I've gone as far as deleting my Exchange account, but the entries are still an hour behind.  I've also tried using other Calendar apps.  They too are syncing the wrong time.  I use MS Outlook 2010.  Help! What am I missing!

Let's figure this out, Tarheel711! If you use other calendar apps that are not connected to outlook, do they show appointments at the correct time? If this is only an issue when synced to Outlook, there may be an issue with your exchange server.

  • My iPhone calendar sets my appointments a hour earlier than my outlook

I added my work email (push) to my iphone last week and now when in automatically sincs with my work calendar in makes the appointments on my iPhone an hour earlier than the ones in my Outlook. Why?

I had the same problem and corrected it by going to the iPhone setting...under date and time set the time as automatic if you have the iPhone 3G. If you have the 1st generation iPhone, do the same but I think you also have to change for example to USA eastern time , if you are in the east coast. In other words, change it based on your geographical area and it should work fine...hope this helps!

  • TS3899 Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone

Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone.

The meeting invite is being sent from a Computer through the Outlook 2010 Email Client. Both Computer and Outlook 2010 are set to Eastern Time. The OWA (Outlook Web Access) for the 2007 account is set to Eastern Time. The Outlook 2010 Email Client is connected to an Exchange 2007 account and the Exchange server for the exchange 2007 account is located in Chicago (Central Time) and is set to Central Time. When the meeting invite is sent from the Outlook 2010 Client the recipient receives the invite on his/her iPhone(set and located in the Eastern Time Zone) and a mime-attachment.ics file is attached to the meeting invite email. There is no info displayed in the subject line or message body. If the iPhone user opens the attachment it displays the meeting date and time and any other info that was sent from Outlook. The Outlook 2010 user sets the meeting for 10:00am to 11:00am. when the meeting invite mime-attachment.ics file is opened on the iPhone the meeting is displayed as 9:00am to 10:00am. if the iPhone user adds the ics file to his/her calendar it adds a meeting event that is scheduled 1 hour earlier than it is supposed to be. I had the iPhone user to set Time Zone support on and off and there is no change.

  • Outlook has all appointments 1 hour earlier

When I synch my iPhone and Outlook using iTunes, all of my appointments are 1 hour earlier in Outlook. My computer time is set properly and the iPhone seems to be in the right time zone. How can I fix this?

My time-zone support was incorrect, even though it was in the same time zone as my location, but changing it fixed the problem. I did need to edit all of my appointments and set them ahead 1 hour in Outlook, but now it synches fine...

  • Time text arrives show text received hour earlier ...

My Nokia 6500 slide shows texts have been received an hour earlier than they have i.e. the time on my phone is for instance 10:00am and a text is sent at that time the phone says it was received at 9:00am. How can I fix this.
    Thanks

Yes it does do it with all the texts I receive. I'm in the U.K. This phone has never been taken abroad yet.
My husband has the same phone and I sent a message to his today and the right time came up. I also checked his settings and they are the same as mine.
The odd thing is if I send a message to T Mobile to ask for my balance the text comes back with the right time on it!

  • TS1702 The Calendar app that came on my i4S Phone does not sync the correct time for items posted on my Yahoo Calendar.  Actually, they post exactly 4 hours earlier than the correct time on my Yahoo Calendar.  Does anyone have a "fix" to correct the "time

The Calendar app that came on my i4S Phone does not sync the correct time for items posted on my Yahoo Calendar. Actually, items post exactly 4 hours earlier than the correct time on my Yahoo Calendar.   My i4S is in the correct New York time zone.  Help?

I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work.  So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

  • TIME_MANAGER_INFO 1 hour earlier than SYSDATE?

When one of our processes fails and places the message back on the queue to be retried in 5 minutes time the TIME_MANAGER_INFO is 1 hour + the delay time less than SYSDATE in the database.
For example, if our message fails at 11am and the delay period is 5 minutes the TIME_MANAGER_INFO is being set to 10:05am when I would have thought it would be set to 11:05am. I'm guessing that wherever the Advanced Queue is getting its time from hasn't been adjusted for daylight savings but where is this set/managed so I can get it in sync with SYSDATE.
Where is the Advanced Queue getting its time from?

Just in case anyone else comes across this, we had a bug where the queue state was staying at 1 and was never being reset to 0 once it reached its delay time. In order to "fix" this until Oracle releases a patch that works we wrote our own procedure that would compare the TIME_MANAGER_INFO value with SYSDATE and if it was earlier than sysdate then we set the state to 0 so it would be picked up by the dequeue. Easy. Except that because of the timezone issue the TIME_MANAGER_INFO value was immediately set to 1 hour earlier than SYSDATE so we always set the state to 0 regardless of its delay period. So, we are looking at using the TIMEZONE value in the system.aq$_queue_tables to determine which timezone the queue is using and compare it to the databases timezone to see if we should change the TIME_MANAGER_INFO to something different. At least, that's what we'll probably do.
    select time_manager_info,
cast( from_tz( time_manager_info, (select timezone from system.aq$_queue_tables where name = 'MY_QUEUE$TAB')) at time zone (select sessiontimezone from dual) as date) t
    from MY_QUEUE$tab qt

  • Why are all my contacts suddenly 2 hours earlier than they were entered.  I just noticed this today April 24

Why are all my entries on Icloud 2 hours earlier than they were previously entered.  I just noticed this today April 23?  They do not match what is on my Ipad or on my imac.  Looks like the clocks are not syncronised someplace.

Your post is fascinating because your post header says "today April 24" while your post body says "today April 23"   So maybe that is related...
Anyway, make sure all your iCloud devices have Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically = "On".
Also, in iCloud.com, open Calendar, go to Preferences (upper right) > Advanced > and check "Enable Time Zone Support".

The time on the weather widget on my home screen does not match the phone time.  Initially it did, but one day it started being 1 hour earlier than the phone time.  I went into Settings/Date & Time & now the time on the weather widget is correct, but the phone time is 1 hour earlier.  Any suggestions??

Settings | Date and Time  then select Automatic date & time, and Automatic time zone. In this way, the carrier time will populate the phone. If it's still going 1hour off, then I'd call VZW and inquire if they have a tower issue, specially if it happens in one particular place.

  • Icloud calendar showing events 1 hour early

I'm accessing my Calendar in icloud using Chrome (Version 35.0.1916.153 m) from my work PC. I've noticed that sometimes the events I've entered manually have mysteriously changed time so that they appear one hour earlier than I originally entered them as. If I double click the event to open it to edit it, the correct time is shown but as soon as I close it again it is listed incorrectly.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks

I wish is was that simple. Unfortunately not all of the events in my Calendar are shifted. I'm starting to wonder if it is just events I created on my iphone that I'm viewing from my pc and vice-versa

use a supported web browser to go to iCloud.com. Click your name (top right) and set you Time Zone to the correct one.

The cache is mentioned several times in the report.
    Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.systempreferences
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.systempreferences folder to the Trash.
    Restar your Mac.

  • ICal invitations saving 1 hour earlier than intended

My team and I have recently moved to MacBook Pros, all using iCal, all with iPads and iPhones. We are all experiencing the same issue - when we send a client or external person an invitation from iCal, it saves in the recipient's calendar one hour earlier than our invitation time. Please help! This is really making our client relationships difficult!

I am experiencing the same issue...also in AZ.  Did you ever find a solution?

I Have the same issue on a brand new iPad mini 2. My battery is only lasting up to 5 hours. I went on chat with Apple last night and they said my battery is fine and its a Safari issue. I'm literally losing 1% every 3-4 minutes. I tried recalibrating my battery, signing out of iCloud, shutting off all locations, turning off background app refresh, restoring network settings, restoring all, and finally restoring from iTunes with no luck. This is just awful. I got this iPad so I could use it on my long flight for a trip I have coming up, and unfortunately, it's not going to last that long, plus I'm concerned about how many times i will be recharging my battery because of this since battery's do have a life cycle dependent on the number of charges. This is frustrating and needs to be fixed ASAP and addressed by Apple.
By the way, Apple told me to bring my device to the Apple Store because it's still under warranty. That's great and all, but I'm going to waste my time if there is no fix for this issue.
Ok so you want Apple to address the problem, but yet you don't want to take it to them just in case they can't fix it? What if they can fix it? Complaining here certainly won't fix it.

  • IPhone "moves" appointments 1 hour early upon sync w/Outlook 2007

This is driving me crazy. When I create an appointment in Outlook then sync to iPhone, it changes the appointment time to one hour earlier on the phone - but the time remains them same in Outlook.
Further, if I create an appointment on iPhone then sync to Outlook it works fine - UNTIL I sync again, then it will shift that same appointment one hour earlier.
Yes, I can trust Outlook for the correct time - but I'm not at my PC 90% of the time. And I usually make appointments months in advance so trying to remember which one is actually correct is almost impossible.
Any help or secret magical formulas for creating appointments would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know if you found a solution but I had a coworker who was having the same issue and we worked out the solution that worked for him.
I wrote it up on my blog: http://weblog.techdad.net/2008/08/27/fix-it-outlook-calendar-and-iphone-calendar -events-hours-not-synched-correctly/
LMK if this fix works for you!
