Splash page every time a new song starts

Hi there,
I've scoured the forums and the preferences in iTunes, but I just can't figure out how to solve this problem.
Somehow, I've unknowingly activate a splash screen that displays over top of everything else I'm doing each time one songs ends and the next begins.
The screen is a small box that includes the Cover Art, name of the song, artist, etc...
I understand how some people would like this, but it just drives me nuts!
Does anyone know how I can turn this feature off?

Hit Firefox in the top left corner then go to General and then under startup what shows? Make sure it says show my homepage.

Firefox can have multiple home pages if you wish. Each home page that will open when starting Firefox is separated by the "|" character.

Every time I TRY to start firefox 18-19 I get an error message : "Firefox has stopped working" - "close the program and check online for a solution" - or - "close the program" this happens TWICE every time I try to start firefox. Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. Do you get the Installation indicator every time you Restart or Start Up your computer? On all my computers upgraded to 10.10, I get the Installation "thermometer" indicator every time I Restart or Start Up my computers. In Verbose mode, I see a bash command that is looking for the Installation image to finish its clean up. Does anyone else have this problem? Is the Installation indicator the new "normal" start up and restart screen for 10.10?

If you are referring to the progress indicator that appears every startup, that is normal. It has replaced the old spinning gear. There's nothing wrong.

Found the problem Plug-ins (extensions?) I had loaded were not compatable with latest update. Once they were deleted, sfari runs fine. Hope this helps others

HT1435 every time i try to start up my ipod it only shows the sad ipod icon

every time i try to start up my older ipod 5th gen it makes a sound then shows the sad ipod icon so what could i try before i take it to the store.

If it's making a clicking sound, then the hard drive is probably bad. The apple store probably wont do anything more than give you 10% discount on a new one.
You should be able to do a google search for ipod repairs and find someone who can replace the hard drive.
