Split frame problem

I can't use the split frame at playhead function for video layers that are just two frames long. Can anyone help?

Premiere Elements 7 - When play my work frame problems occur. codec issues?

Hello,
I use Premiere Elements 7 to edit my videos; however, recently I have found that most of the videos I add to my work shows a frame problem every time I play. I am not so familiar with the terms but I will try my best to explain how it happens.
1. I open a new project
2. Add a video (usually avi format)
3. I play the video whitout editing.
4. I see that after every 5 frames there is a frozen frame (like a dublicate of the 5th frame)
It results me to cut my video in every 5 frames to get rid of the frozen frame and it takes a lot of time.
What would be causing that? When I play the video with my media players it shows perfectly but when I add it to Premiere Elements 7 to edit, this is what happens.
I also see that there are multiple fddshow icons on the right bottom of my screen.
I assume there is something wrong with the codecs. In that case, what would be the best codec to have in order to edit my videos on PE7?
What do you suggest I do?

I have formated my computer and reinstalled my operating system Vista Home 32 bit. Then I switched from PRE7 to PRE8.
This is my computer info below;
CPU Türü QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300, 2500 MHz
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series 512 MB
I have AVC Core 2.0.0 codec, NVIDIA PureVideo codec for MPEG, K-lite MEga codecs installed as they are-without any configuration.
Gspot still shows Xvid codec XviD ISO MPEG-4.
File Length Correct
Multipart OpenDML AVI (2 parts)
(69639 frames in first part, 2663 frames follow)
Interleave: 1 vid frame (40 ms), preload=504
Audio frames: Split across interleaves

So I assume Xvid was used for this file. Considering that what would you reccomend me to do in order to view this file and be able to edit on PRE8?

Sun Fire V490 x 2 servers with Oracle RAC facing Split brain problem

Hi all,
I have Sun Fire V490 x 2 servers with Oracle RAC and they faced a Split brain problem. One of the node's database instance has gone down, The DBA claims it is due to network problem, but as such the networks are OK. We use the on board CE1 interface for Cluster interconnect and CE0 as the public interface.
Did anybody face this kind of a problem? Could this be a hardware/OS patch problem?
I had kept a continuous ping for 24 hours after this happened last time and the output shows no packet loss

In order to diagnose this properly, you'll need to provide too much detail and far too many log files for a generic discussion forum to handle.
Use your service contract and open a support case.
Because a cluster environment is involved you'll likely end up talking to the cluster support staff.
They can analyze hardware and software errors as well as review whether you configured the systems in a supportable fashion.
Be prepared to make a direct connection to each system and gather data using such as by using the Explorer tool. The technical support staff will tell you what they will actually need.

Split Brain Problem

Dear All,
RAC Database Version is 10.2.0.3, and Operating System is SPARC5.10.
The Database use Veritas Sun Cluster.
Voting Disk Size = 10MB
Yesterday, it experienced Split Brain Problem. Each Node Assumes it is the only surviving member of the cluster.
At first, Node 1 became hung and the network link was broken, then our system admin decided to restart the server.
After that, Node 2 Work Load increased significantly, and there was nothing we can do in database.
Fortunately, Veritas Team could handle it, by cleaning the process that was hung.
In my opinion, interconnect communication between node1 and node2 was broken, then each node assumes that it is the only member of the cluster.
To prevent Database Corruption, Veritas Cluster blocked every changes to database.
So, Would you tell me what is actually happened,
was It Related to Heartbeat to Controlfile, considering there was ORA-600 [2103] ?

Imovie11 splitting clips and freeze frame problems

I am having a problem with imovie11 splitting cips and using the freeze frame function. When I highlight the clip I want split, it splits a different clip either on the line below it or somewhere else in my project! Also, my freeze frame function freezes the frame where my playhead is BUT doesn't split the clip...so what I'm left with is the entire clip- then the freeze frame - then the continuation after the freeze frame. Is there a fix for this??

Remove any in or out points you have on the timeline. Place the playhead at the frame on the timeline you want to freeze, and then select Modify > Make Freeze Frame, the freeze should appear instantly in the viewer. You can then click the Overwrite button, and the freeze should now be placed on the timeline in the correct place.
Is this not happening?

Can anyone split frame into three independent areas with JSplitPane??

Hi,
has anyone tried to use JSplitPane to split JFrame in to 3 different areas? How should it be done correctly?
What I have now is two nested JSplitpanes, i.e. I have 'baseSplitPane', which divides frame in two sections, and then I have 'upperSplitPane' as a top component of the baseSplitPane. Then I have three JPanels with JTables inside them; I need to show three JTables (lets call the upper, middle and lower;=) in one JFrame, and I should be able to resize them some some clever way.
The problem is:
When I move splitter of the baseSplitPane towards the top of the screen, first the middle table is shrinken. After that upper table starts to shrink, until splitter is in the top of the screen. When I start to move the splitter back to the bottom, the upper table still remains "minimized", and only the middle table is enlarged. No good!
What I would need is a splitpane for three components, which splitters don�t affect each other. So that when moving a splitter, it just changes the size ratio of the two componts around it, and if you move it to the other splitter it stops. There�s no such component in SWING, is there??

That�s not exactly what I needed, but anyway that is much better than it used to be! So thank you for it, but still; moving one splitter effects to another splitter also.
If no one tells me a better way to handle this, maybe I can live with it...

VPN and Split-DNS problem connecting 851 to 3030 Concentrator

I have configured a Cisco 851 (IOS 12.4(11)T) to connect to the Cisco 3000 Concentrator (v4.72G). I am having multiple problems:
1. On the concentrator I have specified multiple domain names for split DNS "hq.portablesunlimited.com,hq.cellfonestore.com". However I see only the first name created for the dns views.
2. We have a static WAN IP address with a fixed DNS Server name given by our ISP. I am using the same DNS name on the client PCs connected to the 851. I am able to resolve any external names for e.g. "www.google.com". When I try to resolve a DNS address (Split-DNS) for e.g. server.hq.portablesunlimited.com, it fails to resolve the address. I tried to specify the address of 815 (10.0.0.1) as the DNS server for the clients, in this case the clients do not resolve any address. However if I go to the 851 console and ping say "www.yahoo.com" it works and then I can resolve that address "www.yahoo.com" from the client PCs also.
I don't have any firewall or NAT enabled on the 851.

BPM split message problem

Hi all,
I have a problem in splitting messages inside BPM.
My requirements are:
1. Receive message (message with apprx. 700.000 records)
2. Split message to smaller messages (1 message should not contain more than 10.000 records. 70 messages should be created)
3. Send these message with a delay, one by one. (after the 1. message is sent the next should be sent 1 minute later until all are processed)
My question is how do I split the messages into 10.000 records without using java or abap mapping.
2. how do I send them synchronously in a loop? How should the structure be???

Hi Chris,
You can use a transformation step wherein you will define a 1...n mapping. In the mapping create a logic(in UDF) to split the message after every 10,000 message --> Collapse message. This logic would be there in the root node.

Splitting clips problem. Corrupt project?

I have a 3 hour 15 minute project that I finished editing (down from 6+ hours of footage). Aside from iMovie starting to run quite slow by the time I was adding chapters and titles, everything went well. After 11 hours of exporting to Quicktime, I split the movie file in half and burned two DVDs. Everything looks good, except I noticed a section that I accidentally placed the sound off from the video. An easy fix for just that section, or so I thought.
Back in iMovie, I get the spinning color wheel everytime I move or click anywhere. But the real problem is that I no longer split clips ... at least not where I intend to. I stop the playhead where I want to split the clip, and instead of splitting it there, iMovie is splitting the clip anywhere from a half second to 3 seconds after the point I choose.
I'm guessing the project is corrupt since I can create a new project, drag in a clip and it splits just fine. And if I pull in clips from other events into the corrupt project, the splitting gets screwed up again.
I'm hoping there's a solution rather than having to create a new project. I used a lot of transitions, and I want to keep the timing exact so I can easily replace the affected portions of the movie file rather than waiting another 11 hours for everything to export.
And yes, I tried all the usual deleting of preferences, moving the project out of the movies folder, etc., etc. and it's still an issue.

If you are having difficulties splitting a clip as you describe, you may want to try placing the playhead where you want the split, control clicking the clip and select Split Clip from the shortcut menu. The process is similar to what is described for trimming a clip in this article -

Split Valuation Problem

Initially when we created 1 RM article with out split valuation (It was not required at that time).
Now stock is there and we want to maintain split valuation. Even though I removed the stock and Open items (i.e Open PO, Open Production Order) still system is not allowing me to create the Split Valuation.
Now give me some suggestion, how to solve the problem.

Assuming you have done configuration for split valuation,
Maintain valuation category in material master(MM02).
Extend material master accounting view with valuation type required,select valuation class as required,maintain MAP & save.
Check it in MM60,Whether material is split valuated.

Hi,
You cannot use Multi Mapping as you have the Idoc adapter on the inbound side. There is a work around though.
Use SAP note : 814393 and change the occurence of your IDOC from 1..1 to 0 to unbounded.
Your mapping requirement is notvery clear though. Can you give some more detail?

Message Splitting Design Problem

Hi guys,
I am an XI newbie so please bear with me.
I have to build an XI interface to update existing service orders in CRM. The data is coming from a file, which contains change requests for multiple orders (and possibly multiple requests for the same order). The sequence in which the requests are processed is important. The XI system is on version 3.0 SP14, and the CRM system is on WAS 7.00.
I can think of two approaches to follow:
1. Push all the requests through to CRM via an ABAP proxy call (one single call). Inside the proxy, process the requests sequentially. This approach is simple to implement, but problems arise when some of the requests succeed but others fail. There is no option to reprocess just the failed requests, because there is just one XI message.
2. Split up the requests and send them to CRM, queuing the requests by service order number. This means performing message-splitting in XI (with or without BPM) and using the EOIO quality-of-service. The endpoint would still be an ABAP proxy.
I would like to use the second option, but I've got some concerns:
a) If I use mapping-based message splits (bulk messages), can I still use ABAP proxies? I cannot see the XI adapter listed in the relevant SAP help page:

b) If I use BPM to do the splitting, might I run into performance problems? I do not have precise numbers, but I think we might process up to 50,000 requests daily.

c) The standard IDOC is not enough, because there is some extra business logic that needs to be performed. I would need to create a custom IDOC. Is that worth the effort, and would I be losing anything by using IDOC's rather than proxies?

a) I tried bulk messages using ABAP proxies, but got an error in the technical routing step. The error was in the MMF_ENGINETYPE code area, and the message was "A system error occurred in the outbound binding" (not very informative). I didn't get the problem when I used the file adapter. Can someone please confirm that bulk messages with ABAP proxies is OK?

Application Frame problem

Hi:
Of late when I use the application frame it is sized so large (not by me) that you cannot see the information at the bottom on the tabbed image and the Panels section. I have tried to resize it but it extends so low that the cursor cannot reach the control. I have already tried uninstalling and installing and that worked and I reset it to my desired size but when I came back the next day the problem was back. I figured finally that it must be a Preference and I restarted and allowed for resetting and again this worked.
My question is does anyone know what the actual plist is for the Application frame so that I can trash that directly?

JAVA Frame problem

Hi,
I hav a problem in JAVA. I have a main frame. This has an internal
frame as its compnent. The size(height) of internal frame is more
than the main frame. I want the a to vertically scroll in main frame
to see the entire internal frame.
     The following code i tried with JSCrollPane gives me only
horizontall scrolling , so i can see entire width, but no verticall
scroll to see entire height of internal frame.
     Can u solve this problem.

U can change those constants so that it shows the scrollbars at all time.. Now they only appear when needed..
