Split sheet

Can you split a sheet so that the first column remains fixed. I have my spreadsheets in Excel with the first column split so that as I move through the other columns the first one is always there. I cannot figure out how it works in Numbers. My first column is text and the others are numbers. I need to see what the text is without always scrolling back to the beginning.

I dont want to use and Keyboard shiftcntrl....
or dont want to change any code in ALV report
by simply assigning some value to any of the export parameter in ALV function module
can we achieve the functionality

Alv output splitting into two rows when converting into excel sheet.

Hi frends,
I have alv report with 60 fields . The report output is coming currently . But when i am exporting into excel sheet from the option local file--> speadsheet each row is splitting into two rows including header in excel sheet.
Please provide your valuable suggestions to avoid this.

Hi,
Please use the grid option and with the Spreadsheet button (CntrShiftF7). Do "Save as" and save it as excel. It should work.

Split a FOUR sheet page into FOUR page in the right Order

Hei,
I have a PDF file in which every page is filled with four singel sheets (pages). The owner made this to save paper for printing. To make it more clear: page 1,2,3 and 4 are on ONE single page. Now I want to split them again to have page 1 on one page, page 2 on one page, page 3 on one page and page 4 on one page and so on. The document contains 50 page with four pages on every page. In sum it will be 200 pages in the end.
I am searching the net for hours now for a solution and can´t find ANY! I managed to split the pages (in a lot of work) and merged them together in a new document. The order is wrong now: 1,5,9 till 50 and then its 2,6,10 and so on. I really don´t want to order 200 pages by hand... and there are more documents (four files) with the same problem.
My question: Is there an option to automatically SPLIT a page IN FOUR equal parts and put them automatically in the right order?
And yes, I asked the person to give me the original files. But it is not possible.

Reval Balance sheet adjustment account splitting to Constant Profit Centre

Hi all
I am performing currency revaluation for Vendors.
Document splitting is active u2013 Cost Centre u2013 Profit Centre - Segment
The original invoice was split between two Cost Centres.
I revalue the invoice currency using FAGL_FC_VAL.
The batch processing -SM35- runs and gives a posting document number.
When I examine the document, the GL account created as the Balance Sheet adjustment account in OB09, is posting through the Constant PC and Segment.
This is then creating Zero balance lines in the CO-FI reconciliation account.
The expense/revenue account for gains/losses is being correctly shown in the Profit Centre.
My question is whether the Balance sheet adjustment account for unrealised exchange gains/losses should be using the constant PC and segment, or whether this is due to an error?
Any advice is appreciatedu2026

Recently, one of my entity with new business type required to setup and target live by May-2011. Currently, we are using profit center accounting for P&L report. With the new business type, they would like to split the balance sheet report by that.

For business area definition you have to do certain customization in SPRO In enterprise structure....definition for Financial Accounting... define business area and for enabling Business area wise balance sheets to ****(Financial Accounting Global Standard) in SPRO...Enter Global Parameters.... and enable Business area balance sheet.

Do we we have to setup Document splitting functionality when the requirement is to have a full balance sheet by Segment, Profit Center or by Business Area or are there other possiblities to meet this requirement?

If you are on ECC version of SAP, does not make sense to ignore Doc Splitting and look for other haphazard avenues

How can split data into multiple sheets using an excel template

Hi all,
I'm using BIP 10.1.3.4.1 upgrated with the latest rollup patch, 9546699.
I followed the example inside the article "Real Excel Templates 1.5" (on the Tim Dexter's blog)

and I built my report directly from an excel template containing only one sheet (plus the XDO_METADATA sheet), and for one sheet it worked fine !!!
Now I need to add more sheets to the template.... and I have two big questions:
1. if I need to create a second sheet which contains almost the same data (with a different layout), I saw that it is not possible to map a value to more than 1 cell....so if I map a value in the first sheet, I can't map it in the second sheet (because it's already used in the first one).
How can I map same values into two or different execll
2. if I need to create a second sheet which contains another dataset (completely different from the dataset in the first sheet), I can I do, considering that every BIP report is based on ONLY a data source.

Sprite Sheets: Packing, Splitting?

I work with a lot of sprites. Being able to pack individual images into one sprite sheet, or take one sprite sheet and split it into individual images is an important ability I will like to have with Photoshop. Is this possible with Photoshop itself or perhaps with a plugin? If not, can anyone recommend a good utility for accomplishing these tasks?

I'm trying to print a sheet which is about 10 pages long.
The cells are filled with large amounts of text and i'm trying to figure out how to print the cells so they continue from page to page by splitting them in their print format rather than having half an empty page and starting a fresh cell on the next page?
Does this make sense and if so, can anyone help?

There is a simple workaround : split your huge pieces of text by yourself.
If you want, I may write a script doing that.

Document splitting characteristic is profit center
and financial posting is as under

While posting we get an error..... profit center not derived on 1st line item
Which business transaction / variant can meet this requirement. If standard setup cannot meet this requirement than what Z-setup can help achieve splitting in above scenario.

Once check Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting, De select the profit center option in the Mandatory Column.
