Spliting a page

I'm using acrobat 6 to split a A4 page into two pages selecting Print, then in Page scaling --> tile large pages. It's working except that the original document was black and white, but in the processed one it seems to be with shades of gray, because the size is about 11 times larger and when zooming to 800%, shades of gray appears very clearly.
is there a way to use print to generate documents with the same resolution (i.e. black and white) with naturally about the same size??

Maybe You could use the function invoked by Shift+Ctrl+T.
I'm in Acrobat 7 pro - not in English, but I think it's something like menu "Document" item "Crop pages ...".

Headers / Footers to the RHS of page

Hello,
I am working with a client that has an interesting issue. They are very interested in using XMLP for all of their reporting deliverables, however one of their reports requires the page to be in landscape mode, with the header to the right of the page, alongside a table of repeating rows, that could span multiple pages.
The header should be the same for every page relating to a specfic organisations data.
Does anyone have any idea how this could be done. I have tried spliting the page using columns, but when run through XMLP, this just puts the "Header" beneath the body.
Completely stumped with this one and wondered if anyone had any clever/interesting ideas how this could be solved.

Spliting a PDF so it prints on multiple A4 pages

I am trying to print a one page PDF with the dimensons 517,9 x 717,9 mm. What I want to do is to print it on A4 sheet without scaling. So basically cutting the page into a number x of A4 pages that fit togehter. However all I achive is printing the top left page and that is it. I know there must be a really easy solution, but somehow it has eluded my now for some hours!

Programme: Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.1.1 German
Printer: HP Color LaserJet 2840 connected as network printer via Time capsule

Combining color and black-and-white pages in a single pdf

I have a document in which I have a few images with colors. The document needs to be printed but currently the whole document is in color so the costs are expensive. I want to convert the pages without the images to black-and-white and keep the color pages as is. I saw that it is possible to convert the colors of a pdf document from color to black-and-white using Acrobat Professional. Is it possible to convert only certain pages? If not, I am thinking of spliting my document, converting the text pages, and then merging them back with the color pages. Will that keep the original color settings? Basically - can I have some pages in gray scale and others in color within the same document? Thanks!
(The document is to be printed elsewhere, so I can't just print separately the gray scale and color pages).

You you separate the pages, convert the colors spaces and recombine, each page will retain the new color space.

Page Seperation Problem

In my page(jspx) which is splited into two different parts(Left and Right).
Left Part having Tree structure and In Right part i need to display the content from another jspx( having 3 pages) pages as per the node selected in Tree at Right Side.
I have problem how to bring the Right content from another jspx and i also need to perform some actions in that page.
To full fill the above requirement which concept i should use.
How can i achieve it.

Dynamic Graphics - Image not clear in HTML page

Hi,
i tried to generate the image from Dynamic Graphics( 3D Dial gauge). It creates successfully but when i show this image in HTML page it is not clear i.e values and arc are showing like points and words in description also shows as splited. How to avoid this? How to display images clearly?

I don't know if this will help, but you may want to try rendering the image larger than the size you will display on the page.
If you do a search in the forum for 'svg' you might find some usefull threads.

Oracle matrix report split in two pages

my matrix report is spliting in two pages. All columns are ok but the total of the columns shows *** due to length problem so i increase the columns width and the report goes in two pages now.
Is there any way to show the totals in without decresing the width eg..

I'm using asp.net 2.0-C# and CR 11 SP2.
I write the custom code to export report into pdf(report have some images also), after exported i open the file but single image is splited into next page because of the size, how to set the image should comes into single page without changing image height and width. Experts please help me.

there are several ways to operatte with strings :

Passing data while navigating across pages

I have a registration page across more than 6 pages.
which is splited as personal details, contact details etc...
I have to store the data as user enter details each page.
But should save the data to database after completion of last page.
How to do we maintain data enterred across pages?

That answer has to be one of the worst I have seen.
All the data in the request object at the end? What dreamworld do you live in?
The request parameters only last for one request. Every time you submit a page, you send a new request.
In order to retain state over multiple requests you need to use the Session.
Best way to do it is to create a java bean that will encapsulate all the data you need to enter across all the forms. Making it a session bean means that all its values will be retained on the server.
One by one, as you submit the pages, put the values entered on the form, into the bean. If you need to go back a step, you can retrieve the data from the bean to repopulate the form.
At the end, all of the data is stored in your session bean.
Then you can write a method which saves the values in your bean to the database

My delivery is automatically splited

my delivery is automatically splited in to 4sales item in delivery
i ve loded it in the scheduling agreement with one item line but in delivery its coming in three delivery lines what the reason i dont knoe but one thing i ve noticed in the delivery is that
material staging time a
as per this staging time the material is splited into two or three
so one item schedule is splited in to 4 deliveries for the same day is sowing the itemn are splited in to 4 items and the staging time is different
so how to make it in single item line

SAP checks for the following parameters in the order before combining the orders into a single dely:
Shipping point
Ship-to party
Incoterms
Sales organization.
The next setting that needs to be taken care is: The customer master - sales area data - Shipping tab page - select the order combination as ticked. This is possible only when the customer agrees for it.
The third thing is: check the routine assigned to the Combination requirement in Copy control for order to delivery.
Once all the above is taken care, the system will automatically combine multiple orders into a single dely as long as those orders has a sched.line due for delivery.
VL04 is deprecated from 4.6, you should use VL10A, VL10B,.... VL10E.
If you want to split the schedule lines use VL10E.
Check with
VL10A is the " Collective processing of Sales Orders" for creation of Outbound Delivery document. It will list all the Sales Orders agaisnt which delivery creation is pending, and has valid line items for delivery.
VL04 on the other hand is a "Delivery Due List" Worklist to seggregate the SalesOrders/Purchase orders, as per selection criteria. From the worklist one can select a Order and process it for Individual Delivery creation. Collective processing cannot be done in VL04.

HI farukh,
if it is a table control then one option is that you use the 'INSERT' button to add a line in first place and fill that first line. and again use command 'INSERT' to insert a line at first place.
you have to record insert button.

Render HTML file within portal page

I have uploaded an html file into a content folder as a file item type. I have a portal page with tabs and other content. I added a tab for this html file. I would like the user to click on the tab and have the html file rendered within the associated region.
Any ideas on how to do this?
