How can we get a report of which user accessed SPM UI or currently accessing?
Which reports the current user's are accessing and previously accessed?

At the moment SPM statistics (record of which users accessed which reports, etc...) is not available. This will be considered for the next release.

SPM Reporting - Log reports display on front end

Hi,
We have implemented GRC 5.3 and have an issue on the SPM reporting through the front end.
We have done config in dev and have the following jobs running in the background every 1 hour:
1. /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK
2. /VIRSA/ZVFAT_LOG_REPORT
3. /VIRSA/ZVFAT_V01
4. /VIRSA/ZVFAT_V03
The log on the back-end displays all activity of FF user, but when going to the front end I seem not to get any reports to display.
We have created the connectors via the config page, but when trying to drill through the selection criteria we found that the FF user does not come up as a selection variable. We see the system defined though.
Any suggestions how to get the reporting to display on the front-end?

You should only need the /virsa/zvfatbak job running in the background. However, if the emails are not triggered for the log reports, you may wish to schedule the /virsa/zvfat_log_report program to run after completion of /virsa/zvfatbak as that is the program which actually sends the notifications.
Regarding the RFC user, check the authorisations held in the Firefighter Administrator role as those will not be too far away!

Os x is falsely reporting a logged in user on shutdown/restart

Ever since upgrading my Mac mini from OS X 10.9 Server to 10.10 Server I have a strange error: As soon as I log in into a local user then try to reboot/shutdown, OS X will report that another user is currently logged in and I need to enter admin credentials in order to shutdown/reboot. There are only two local users and only a few network users.
So, no matter if I log in from the one or the other local user, OS X will always report another logged in user. If I log into a local user then log out again I will get the same message. If I do NOT log into any user, there will not be any message.
Any ideas?

only one account can be logged in and actively using the Finder and GUI at a time. thus, you can't login and control the computer at the same time your wife is. nothing exist for Macs that allows this.

User logged on report and Scheduling of same

Dear Experts
I hv to code a report showing how many users logged on at different sites. This report should also display the network status.
There may be network connectivity at site, but SAP might not be running. This info also supposed to be in report.
I hv to schedule this report. The report should be mailed automatically at specified time.
Can any one guide.

We have install/configure WebCenter analytics and activity graph.
Wehave added Login Metrics in our Group Space and we are getting default login count for specific time frame but when we define a filter under User Property of any property like city, department name, phone title etc after refreshing data it is giving error like
WCS#2011.03.31.12.47.31 : Irresolvable error(s) occurred. You may want to contact Administrator with the error reference.
Please help how to solve this.

Hide or show column from a report region based on user logged in

I have this criteria, where I need to display a column on a report page but depends on the users logged in ( APP_User).
On the field(column page) there is the Conditional Display option
Conditional Display
Condition Type: I choose the option where "item value in Expression 1 = expression 1
*Expression 1*
App_USER
*Expression 2*
I need to add 4 user names here that they allowed to view that column
My question is how to list the names in expression 2 field, it worked when I added one name, but when I listed 4 names separated by comma, it didn't work.

If you use "Text in Expression 1 is contained in the Value of Expression 2" then you can provide a comma-separated list. The only thing to watch out for is if you have a user "Bob" and a user "Bob Smith" then you will get a match on "Bob Smith" for the user "Bob"

Thank you very much. The problem is the Folder didn't 'open when the user logs on. Yes, the iview can be openned. Does anyone know how to set the default Open for the Folder. My question is about the folder in BI portal. Yes, the ivew we can set the defaul Open but we have Folder in the portal and our user wants to be able to see the report lists when they log on to the Portal.

Limit report data to user logged in (AD Authentication)

How can I limit the number of rows that display on a report depending on the user logged in? I want the user to see only their own data, not the whole report, based on the the user id. We use active directory authentication to Business Objects Enterprise.

1. Applying row level restriction to the Universe off which these reports are based of. Please refer to Universe Designer Guide for more information.
2. By using Publications in XI 3.1. Please refer to Publishing Guide for details.

FF Id Owner Name appears different in SPM report campared to Backend

Hi Team,
We have SPM 5.3 installed and we are using user based Firefighter concept.
I have run the SPM report ( log summery report , transaction usage report and detail log report ) today. There the FF id Owner name appearing is different with respect to what we maintained in ' Owners' tab in backend firefighter Dash board. Even in the Backend log report it is appearing different . Means at Backend and SPM ( GRC front end) both the places FF id owner is appearing different w.r.t what we maintained in Owner tab of Backend system.
Please suggest what can be the issue . And where I need to change the confirguration to make the report consistant with what we maintained in Owner tab of Backend system.

Have you got multiple owners defined in the backend system? Sometimes that causes inconsistencies.
I have noticed that there is a Bug in SAP Note 1168121 which means that the owner is missed off the email log reports in SPM up to SP08 and that might also be the issue.

The onbox reporting can only show what web traffic is currently being surfed. We can provide a near-real time view of this web traffic with a "Web Tracking Report".
However, there is not a report available that depicts what you're describing. (This information is best contained on the domain server). The closes we could get with the WSA is displaying which credentials we are currently caching. (Which users we've seen since within the surrogate timeout). This is possible with the authcache command on the cli.

First, I don't this could be done with SCCM.
If you have SCOM implement, it may help in this case. SCOM forum:

In addition, logon information could be found in event log of DC. Audit the log with script could be another workaround.

Retrieving Local User Logged In to Oracle Apps

I have a report that issues Employee Payslips. I need to modify it so the user submitting the request will only be able to view his/her payslip.
I have the following bit of code:
SELECT distinct user_id
FROM v$session vs, v$process vp, fnd_logins fl
WHERE vp.addr = vs.paddr
AND fl.spid = vs.process
AND vs.sid=(select distinct sid from v$mystat)I also tried linking V$SESSION, V$PROCESS, and FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS using oracle_process_id and oracle_session_id.
The problem is neither is returning any results. When linking V$SESSION and V$PROCESS alone, I get one record, which is what I need. But upon adding FND_LOGINS to the equation, no records are retrieved.
So my question is, is there another way to be able to get the User_ID (that can be linked in FND_USER) of the session? I've looked up previous threads and articles but none of the solutions worked.

The main idea of the report is that a user logs into Oracle Applications and submits a request. The code in the report linked to this request has to get the username that the user logged in with and use it to retrieve only information that are related to that user.
When taking the record with SID from sys_context, the data in V$SESSION are actually related to the server not the user so they're the same for all users.
Executing the following query:
select username, osuer, machine, user#
from v$session
where SID = sys_context('USERENV', SID);Returns the following:
USERNAME: APPS
OSUSER: applqa
MACHINE: ebusdev1
USER#: 183Same with sys_context('USERENV', SESSIONID'). And linking it to FND_LOGINS using the PROCESS column returns no data.

I am using web based to log in to discoverer as a oracle applications user. there is a report in one responsibility related to PO. My question is, can i catch the user who is logged in (his username or user ID) to be printed on the report.

I created a report which can see the details of the requisition (req ID, line number, Requestor, Approver, Requestor Dept, PO Number, etc). My report should display only the requisitions created by the user who is logged in who will be the requestor here in this case. I cant pass requestor as the parameter. It should automatically take the user logged in as requestor and display only his requisitions on to the output.
