SPNego : FallBack requirement
Hi There,
We are currently setting up SPNego SSO for our global Portal. Everything seems to work fine.
However we want to also accomodate the "unlikely" case of SPNego not working (Say for example user is not using the recommended browser or so)
Our requirement is
1) If the SPNEGO SSO fails for some reason, we should be able to detect this failure and call a page (we can design this page with a certain message)
2) If we are not using SPNEGO at all (which is possible for instance by putting a ?spnego=disabled as an addition to the portal url) then it should call the standard portal logon screen which is the default behaviour
If we try to change the portal logon par file, even case 2 above would show the customized logon screen. So is it someway possible to "CHECK" for a spnego failure and call a customized page?
I guess you would have to play with the login modules? Please provide your valuable suggestions
Thanks
Chan
Right. You will need to configure your logon module stack to have a fall-back to UID and PW.
When the SPNEgo module fails, the portal will present the logon form (UID and PW).
See the blog series http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/8235. [original link is broken]
Thanks,
Shanti

SPNego - Fallback - Basic Authentication
Hi All,
If I implement SPNego as per the configuration wizard and select the basic password authentication as the fallback option, what type of username/password can be used on the logon page:
- An Active Directory username/password
- A Portal UME username/password for users manually created in the UME database
- Both?
Cheers,
SteveHi Steve,
I assume that you use MSADS as user store. In this case, both is working, it's just the simple userid / password logon like you had no SPNego then.
Best regards,

How to deactivate SPNego after running the SPNego Wizard in NW2004s
Hello,
We have a NW2004s Platform with Usage Type AS Java and DI. The SPNego is configured using the SPNego Wizard and its working absoutely fine. The problem is this that we would liek to use the Basicc authentication also side by side. In NW2004, when SPNego is manually configured (without wizard), the URL for SPNego needs to be configured so that you get the SPnego at all. If you call the normal URL for example for Portal http://portal:50000/irj, you get the Basic Authentication. But as soon as the SPNego is configured through the Wizard, the mentioned URL is automatically configured to the SPNego! During configuring the SPNego Wizard, UIDPW or Basic is set as a Fallback Authentication..but Fallback means Fallback, i.e., when SPNego doesnot function..What is when the two schemes are required to work simultaneously ?
I did change the Ticket in the Security Keystore in the Visual admin and set it to "basic" again (for the Configuration of the Wiizard, it was set to spnego) , it does return a login screen, but you cannot get acces through any of the users, not even with Administrator/j2ee_admin.
I did deactivate the service user as well, but in vain.
Has anyone experience with this. Should we make changes in the prios in the authschemes.xml ?? Would it not the working spnego in any way..
I look forward to any helpful hints.
Thanks,
Rahila ZahirLater I found th solution. Just had to switch back to Basic in the Login Modules in Visual Admin--Security Provider Service. I was confusing it earlier with the NW2004.
Cheers,
Rahila Zahir

Problems with RAC and XA: Fallback
Hello,
we are seing problems with RAC and XA (Tuxedo 11, DB 11.2), specifically encountering "ORA-24798: cannot resume the distributed transaction branch on another instance".
The first scenario relates to fallback after a RAC node failure. There are two servers, S1 and S2. S1 makes an ATMI call to S2. Both servers are in the same Tuxedo group, using TMS_ORA. RAC is set up for failover (BASIC), no load balancing.
The sequence is:
- S1 and S2 are connected to the same RAC node n1. All is well.
- RAC node n1 fails. S1, S2 and the TMS_ORA all fail over to RAC node n2. After the failover has happened, all is well.
- RAC node n1 recovers. All is still well (as there is no automatic fallback).
- S1 (or S2) is restarted (either intentionally or because of a crash). Since n1 is up again, S1 connects to n1. Now we get ORA-24798. Permanently.
S1 is connected to n1 and S2 is connected to n2. Since both are in the same group, both use the same XA transaction branch. When called, S2 attempts to JOIN the transaction branch that S1 started. But the DB (11.2) does not allow the same branch to span more than one node. Hence the ORA-24798.
This seems to be a severe limitation in the combination of Tuxedo, XA and RAC. It basically means we still have to use DTP services, even with Tuxedo 11 and DB 11.2. Or are we missing something?
We could put S1 and S2 into different groups, but that seems to be inefficient, and not practical for a real application (10s of servers).
I am extrapolating from this that RAC load balancing would also not work, as S1 and S2 could be connected to different RAC nodes.
RogerRoger,
When using an external transaction manager such as Tuxedo you should still declare Oracle services as DTP services when using Oracle Database 11g. The Tuxedo documentation is not clear about this. The relevant 11gR2 RAC documentation is at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/rac.112/e16795/hafeats.htm and states
"An XA transaction can span Oracle RAC instances by default, allowing any application that uses the Oracle XA library to take full advantage of the Oracle RAC environment to enhance the availability and scalability of the application.
"GTXn background processes support global (XA) transactions in an Oracle RAC environment. The GLOBAL_TXN_PROCESSES initialization parameter, which is set to 1 by default, specifies the initial number of GTXn background processes for each Oracle RAC instance. Use the default value for this parameter clusterwide to allow distributed transactions to span multiple Oracle RAC instances. Using the default value allows the units of work performed across these Oracle RAC instances to share resources and act as a single transaction (that is, the units of work are tightly coupled). It also allows 2PC requests to be sent to any node in the cluster.
"Before Release 11.1, the way to achieve tight coupling in Oracle RAC was to use Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP) services, that is, services whose cardinality (one) ensured that all tightly-coupled branches landed on the same instance—regardless of whether load balancing was enabled. Tightly coupled XA transactions no longer require the special type of singleton services to be deployed on Oracle RAC databases if the XA application does not join or resume XA transaction branches. XA transactions are transparently supported on Oracle RAC databases with any type of service configuration.
A"n external transaction manager, such as Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server (OraMTS), coordinates DTP/XA transactions. However, an internal Oracle transaction manager coordinates distributed SQL transactions. Both DTP/XA and distributed SQL transactions must use the DTP service in Oracle RAC."
This issue came up earlier this year in another newsgroup thread at https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2165803

Gnome stuck in fallback mode?
I just installed Arch as a virtual desktop using VMware Workstation.
I have installed the drivers mentioned in the Wiki and the computer running it has excellent specs and shouldn't have a problem.
Originally at the start of GDM there was an error message in the form of a dialog box that said it reverted to fallback mode.
I would like to get it out of fallback mode or figure out what is wrong.My apologies, I should have done that in the original post.

Help-kerberos works with spnego keytab file but not in netbeans and Metro
Hi,
Appreciate if someone can shed some light on this problem and guide on what else am I missing.
I'm trying to call .NET based WCF webservice (MS Dynamics CRM - OrganizationSvc) from a java client. Started looking at Metro framework for interoperability. I was able to generate all the proxy classes and was able to write the code to invoke web service. However the challenge was using Kerberos based authentication and related setup.
I primarily followed the link below which was very helpful but had to dig more to get more specific details.
http://blogs.sun.com/enterprisetechtips/entry/building_kerberos_based_secure_services
Tried to follow netbeans route and hit some roadblocks in verifying the setup (krb5.conf & login.conf & wsit-client.xml). So, came across SPNEGO and used their examples, made changes accordingly and after experimenting with various configuration settings(krb5.conf and login.conf), finallyI was able to run HelloKDC & HelloKeytab files successfully.
krb5.conf_
[libdefaults]
default_realm = NA.CONVERGYS.COM
[realms]
NA.CONVERGYS.COM = {
kdc = CDCWW13.na.convergys.com
admin_server = CDCWW13.na.convergys.com
[domain_realm]
.na.convergys.com = NA.CONVERGYS.COM
login.conf_
spnego-server {
com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule required
useKeyTab=true
keyTab="C:/WINDOWS/orldwv705_feb03.keytab"
doNotPrompt=false
storeKey=true
principal="HOST/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com"
debug=true;
C:\spnego-r7>klist -k C:\WINDOWS\orldwv705_feb03.keytab
Key tab: C:\WINDOWS\orldwv705_feb03.keytab, 1 entry found.
[1] Service principal: HOST/[email protected]
KVNO: 7
With these settings, I was able to successfully make the call & Hello Keytab was able to get the Ticket and authenticate.
http://spnego.sourceforge.net/index.html
http://spnego.sourceforge.net/client_keytab.html
http://spnego.sourceforge.net/troubleshoot_hellokeytab.html
However, when I run the example in Netbeans with the setup mentioned in the link below, I run into following exception...
http://metro.java.net/guide/Developing_with_NetBeans.html#wsit_example_with_nb-creating_wsit_client
http://metro.java.net/guide/_Configuring_Kerberos_for_Glassfish_and_Tomcat.html
1) noticed that sc:KerberosConfig element in wsit-client.xml does not get updated automatically in netbeans ide, so manually edited to put the entries.
2) also followed the setup required in glassfish domain.xml & login.conf xml.
3) also noticed that netbeans setup requires us to use C:\Windows\krb5.ini file which is nothing but krb5.conf file referred elsewhere.)

Edited by: user6748004 on Feb 3, 2011 5:38 PMHi Gasha,
The only change I did after this, was to try and use 'KerberosServer' configuration from the wsit-client.xml. Atleast, this enabled the glassfish application to load the configuration related to keytab etc, and use it to communicate with the WCF service for negotiation.
<sc:KerberosConfig wspp:visibility="private"
loginModule="KerberosServer"
servicePrincipal="HOST/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com"
credentialDelegation="true" />
login.conf has
KerberosServer {
com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule required
useKeyTab=true
keyTab="C:/WINDOWS/orldwv705_feb03.keytab"
doNotPrompt=false
storeKey=true
principal="HOST/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com"
debug=true;
fyi.. Used the following way to create the keytab
Keytab was created using below instructions
ktpass -princ HOST/[email protected]
-mapUser [email protected]
-mapOp set
-pass *
-crypto DES-CBC-MD5
-pType KRB5_NT_PRINCIPAL
-out orldwv705.keytab
Targeting domain controller: CDCWW13.na.convergys.com
Successfully mapped HOST/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com to svcMSCRMDev.
Key created.
Output keytab to orldwv705.keytab:
Keytab version: 0x502
keysize 75 HOST/[email protected] ptype 1 (KRB5_NT_PRINCIPAL) vno 8 etype 0x3 (DES-CBC-MD5) keylength 8 (0x0bc27ca83891dc2a)
Also realised that we need to add 'HTTP/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com' & 'http/ORLDWV705.na.convergys.com' using set SPN commands on the AD of the server where CRM is installed.
With these changes, the negotiate authentication seems to have happened using the Kerberos token from the keytab, but later ran into an error for which I was not able to get any clue to go forward. Someone in another post about this error suggested that it worked once they changed principal names, but when I tried I did'nt get any success.
This is where I'm struck now. What I don't know is if there is another setup from which we can try a similar interoperability example for ex.. weblogic 10.1 & eclipse which is more close to our real environment.

Gnome stuck in fallback mode - not recognizing nvidia drivers
Every time I start a gnome session it is stuck in fallback mode. Checking under System Settings > Details > Graphics I see that the Driver is listed as Unknown and Experience is Fallback. Forced Fallback Mode is OFF. I cannot get it to recognize the nvidia driver (I have also tried nouveau but it did not recognize that either). I have tried re-installing the nvidia driver and rebooting, but I can't seem to fix the problem . Here are the logs that I thought might be relevant. If you need to see anything else please let me know . Thanks.

3779There is one thing I forgot to clarify, have setup up the pc as a server so I do not have direct access to the server. Everything is forwarded over ssh (using nx to connect to the server and start a gnome session). Starting KiTTY (a modification of PuTTY) with x11 forwarding I do not see any windows when I run "xinit -- /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp". I get the following:

I remember when I would start the pc that startx I could never get to run, I would always start the gui using gdm, which was the only thing I could get to work. I do not have a .xinitrc. I believe the nx connects and issues gnome-session to start the session but I am not sure. -
Hi,
I am looking for a single sign-on solution for Tomcat platform. This solution should work on Active Directory-Internet Explorer 6-Tomcat 5 combo.
The requirement is - When a user requests a certain page from his browser, the web server must be able to identify the (active directory domain name/domain user name) from his request.
I tried a product by appliedcrypto.com, which works on Kerberos/SPNEGO, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I am running on a very tight schedule, please help me out.
Thanx and Regards
VibhorHave you checked out the Oracle Single Sign On Application Developer's Guide that comes with the Portal Services documentation? Here's a link to it on OTN.

[solved] gnome3 only in fallback mode
There a few threads dealing with similar problems, but they are rather old. So I decided to open a new topic.
gnome3 only starts in fallback-mode on my notebook (Lenovo TP x61). I cleaned up my xinitrc and use gdm to start gnome, but still no results.

Fallback for Spengo not working for Firefox even though it works for IE
Hi,
I am using firefox, 3.6.8. I am trying to connect to an AppServer which uses SPNEGO as an external user. I have a fallback set up so that if it is an external user and SPNEGO fails, the AppServer will revert to Applicate Security which is simple BASIC authentication.
The fallback works ok for IE but not for Firefox. If I try to access the site, firefox just tells me:
SPNEGO Authentication not supported on this client and the fallback never happens.
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== When I first tried itDid you try any of this:
https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&tbs=qdr%3Ay&q=%22firefox+SPNEGO%22&btnG=Search
Also, update your Java to the current version and clean out the old Java Console Extensions. See:

Help! Federal W4 form always requires Japanese font pack
Hi! I've been tasked with automating the new hire process and the client would like to include the Federal W4 form in with a collection of other forms required for their internal new hire paperwork. So I download the form from http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf, opened it in LiveCycle Designer 7.1 (on Windows XP), then saved the resulting LiveCycle form as a PDF. Now any time I try to open the form in Acrobat Reader 7.0.8 it goes to the web and requires that the Japanese font pack be installed. If I don't install it the form behaves very strangely, such as form field text disappearing anytime to tab off of them.
Now if I reopen the the newly created W4 LiveCycle PDF in LiveCycle Designer and save it as an XPD file I can see that the font "Kozuka Mincho Pro-VI R" has been inserted into the document. I have confirmed that this font is not present in the original Federal W4 from. My question is why is this font being added and how can I get rid of it? This has to be a bug.
Can anyone else reproduce this problem?Thanks for the follow-up! Yes, that makes sense. However since I didn't have the Japanese font pack or any Japanese fonts installed on the development workstation then LiveCycle must have used it as a "fallback" font for unknown glyphs. Specifically somewhere in the LiveCycle code must have been detection for what it thinks might be Japanese fonts. I would bet that you are right, if we had the right font loaded on the system then it wouldn't have been an issue.
The performance issues are all with the Designer. There are quite a few objects in my 24 page PDF document. Since many of these PDF pages came from federal forms I imported them into Designer "perserving appearence" so the object count on each page in pretty high. Acrobat reader performs fine with the 24 page form, it's just the Designer that gets pretty slow on some operations.
By the way, do you know if Designer will have better support for adding/removing pages from a document. When I first attempted to assemble the new hire packet 24 page document I opened each federal form individually in Designer and simply copied and pasted the document objects into a new page in a single LiveCycle document to assemble the completed document. I discovered that this didn't work well (objects would paste without the correct fonts) so I went into Acrobat Professional and completely assembled the individual documents into a single 24 page new hire packet before importing this into LiveCycle. This worked very well, but now that I have a LiveCycle document I cannot use Acrobat Professional any more for these types of operations.
I guess my point is that assembing forms from separate documents in a one single LiveCycle document didn't work well just using the LiveCycle development tool. So my question is: are there going to be improvements to LiveCycle so that assembling documents is easier (much like what Acrobat Professional allows) and without flaw. Now that I have a 24 page LiveCycle document I cannot add any more pages onto the document from within Acrobat Professional. So another similar question is: will Acrobat Professional be enhanced to be more "LiveCycle aware" so that it can correctly add/delete pages even in LiveCycle documents. The current limitations with both products as it relates to assembling LiveCycle documents leaves something to be desired. I hope there are plans to correct this. -
Missing 0x60 tag in SPNEGO Token sent from IE
Hi,
I've used TagLib library (http://dev.taglab.com/sites/taglab-public/support/spnego.html) in my web application to support SSO with Windows domain.
The process was as follows:
1. The browser sent the request to my web application. The servlet filter (by TagLib) intercepted it, and sent it with Negotiation header and a 401 response code.
2. IE responded with a "Negotiate TlRMTVNTUAABAAAAB4IIogAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFASgKAAAADw=="
3. The servlet filter tried to decode the spnego token, but was unsuccessful.
Token Hex Dump

You obviously see that the first byte is not 0x60. It should be according to the rfc of spnego:
1. 0x60 -- Tag for [APPLICATION 0] SEQUENCE; indicates that
-- constructed form, definite length encoding follows.
(taken from http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2743)
Does anybody knows why??
Thanks,
Asaf MesikaRecheck your IE Setting you have to change 2 things.
1. put the requesting site in IE to local-network
2. in the IE extended security option enable Integrated Windows Authentication
then you should see a client response something like YIll....... which is true.
To configure Intranet Authentication:
1. Click the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then click Custom Level.
2. In the Security Settings dialog box, scroll down to the User Authentication section of the list.
3. Select Automatic logon only in Intranet zone. This setting prevents users from having to re-enter logon credentials; a key piece to this solution.
4. Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.
In addition to the previous settings, one additional setting is required if you are running Internet Explorer 6.0.
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll down to the Security section.
4. Make sure that Enable Integrated Windows Authentication (requires restart) is checked, and then click OK.
5. If this box was not checked, restart the browser.
write down here if you succeeded with the taglab libraries.. we would like to know it -
Hi All,
I am working on OAM 11gR2 using OVD 11gR1(ADs on backend) to provide kerberos single sign on.
Following below chapter:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/admin.1112/e27239/wna.htm#CHDJGJGJ
I have configured kerberos authentication module, kerb auth scheme,custom auth module etc..
Kerberos single sing on is working properly(i.e. when user login to AD domain he is not asked for credentials)
but when i try accessing the application from non-AD domain basic authentication pop-up comes, on submitting the credentials I get following error:
Authentication Failure for user : Testuser, for idstore OVD_DEV_KRB with exception invalid username/password with primary error message javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - LDAP Error 49 : Cannot get kdc for realm XXX.YYY.COM]
Do I need to conifgure soething extra which is not given in above doc.
Imp Confg I did:
-in OVD AD Adapter
User Name Attribute: userprincipalname
checked : "use kerberos"
Pass through mode : "Always"
- in OVD datasource
User Name Attribute: sAMAccountName
This is Default Store
Edited by: 974765 on Jan 21, 2013 8:31 PMHi All,
Fallback is working now..required changes are-
-in OVD AD Adapter
User Name Attribute: userprincipalname
Do not check : "use kerberos"
Pass through mode : *"Bind Only"*

Problems unwrapping SPNEGO token for Single Signon (SSO) in WebLogic Server
First of all, a quick description of our issue. We’ve tried many different things, but cannot get WebLogic to unwrap the SPNEGO token so it authenticates using Kerberos. We received several errors while trying to debug, here’s the one we see most:
KDC has no support for encryption type (14)
But we doubt it has anything to do with the encryption type, as these are set correctly everywhere.
We’ve tried following some of the instructions on the BEA website (which contain several errors).
One of them was also adding a host/ SPN (in krb5login.conf) but then, when using HTTP/ SPN we get the following error (it seems with multiple SPN’s it only takes the first or last SPN that was set):
Client not found in Kerberos database (6)
Next try was using the host/ SPN but that results in the following error:
Integrity check on decrypted field failed (31)
We’ve tried changing the default_enctypes in KRB5.INI (We’ve removed the entries, and also tried only DESCBC_MD5 and DES_CBC_CRC) but that did not change the behaviour.
We’ve tried adding the AllowTGTSessionKey registry key on client and server, but that didn’t change it either.
We are not sure what details you need for this to debug, so here’s what we’ve done to install the environment (please note that ip-addresses, domain, client and server names are made up and are different in real-life),
We have two domains:
Domain1 (DOMAIN1.COM) contains:
Domain Controller “AD1” with IP 192.168.0.1
Domain Controller “AD2” with IP 192.168.1.1
Client “Client1” with IP 192.168.2.1
Domain2 (DOMAIN2.COM) contains:
Domain Controller “AD3” with IP 10.0.0.1
Server (WebLogic) “Server1” with IP 10.0.1.2
Between Domain1 and Domain2 a firewall exists in which we’ve opened the relevant ports like LDAP (TCP 389), Kerberos (UDP 88), WebLogic (7001/7002).We do not see any firewall blocks on other ports…
We’ve configured AD1 (Microsoft AD with KDC) as follows:
1. Account “SSOAccountAD” created
2. Password never expires
3. DES encryption on
4. Do not require Kerberos preauthentication off
5. Password “Password” was reset several times
6. ServicePrincipalName was set using this
setspn -A HTTP/Server1.DOMAIN1.COM SSOAccountAD7. ServicePrincipalName on AD1 was checked (and found to be ok) using this command:
setspn -L SSOAccountAD8. KTPass was executed:
ktpass -princ HTTP/[email protected] -mapuser SSOAccountAD -pass Password9. User Logon name was checked, it's set to "HTTP/Server1"
10. ServicePrincipalName on AD2 was checked (and found to be ok) using this command:
setspn -L SSOAccountADWe’ve configured the WebLogic Server (Server1) as follows:
1. LDAP authentication was activated and test ok
2. Single Pass Negotiate Identity Asserter was created with Chosen Type “Authorization”
3. KRB5.INI file was created and added to %windir% (and C:\WINNT folder to be able to test with Java ktab and kinit which do not look in the %windir% folder):
[libdefaults]
default_realm = DOMAIN1.COM
dns_lookup_realm = false

default_tgs_enctypes=DES-CBC-CRC

[domain_realm]
.domain1.com = DOMAIN1.COM
domain1.com = DOMAIN1.COM

autologin = true
forward = true
forwardable = true
encrypt = true4. We’ve installed JDK 1.5.0.12: jdk-1_5_0_12-windows-i586-p.exe
5. Keytab File was created (with password “Password”):
ktab -k SSOKeyTabFile -a HTTP/[email protected]. Keytab File and Kerberos communication was tested using:
kinit -k -t SSOKeyTabFile HTTP/[email protected]. Keytab File and Kerberos communication was tested using Java (incl. Debugging):
java -Dsun.security.krb5.debug=true sun.security.krb5.internal.tools.Kinit -k -t SSOKeyTabFile HTTP/[email protected]. Keytab was listed:
java -Dsun.security.krb5.debug=true sun.security.krb5.internal.tools.Klist9. SSOKeyTabFile was copied to the WebLogic ProductionDomain folder
10. The krb5login.conf file was created and copied to the WebLogic ProductionDomain folder:
com.sun.security.jgss.initiate {
com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule required
principal="HTTP/[email protected]" useKeyTab=true
keyTab=SSOKeyTabFile storeKey=true debug=true;
com.sun.security.jgss.accept {
com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule required
principal=" HTTP/[email protected] " useKeyTab=true
keyTab=SSOKeyTabFile storeKey=true debug=true;
};11. WebLogic service and startWeblogic.cmd were modified with the following parameters:
-Djava.security.krb5.realm=DOMAIN1.COM
-Djava.security.krb5.kdc=192.168.0.1
-Djava.security.auth.login.config=<ProductionFolder>\krb5login.conf
-Djavax.security.auth.useSubjectCredsOnly=false
-Dweblogic.security.enableNegotiate=true
-DDebugSecurityAdjudicator=true
-Dweblogic.debug.DebugSecurityAtn=true
-Dweblogic.debug.DebugSecurityAtz=true
-Dweblogic.Debug.DebugSecurityATN=true
-Dweblogic.StdoutSeverityLevel=64
-Dweblogic.StdoutDebugEnabled=true
For the client pc (Client1) we’ve checked the browser settings:
Automatic Logon only in Intranet Zone
Enable Integrated Windows Authentication
On the client we’ve used “kerbtray.exe” to see whether a kerberos token is created, and it is (although with the full domain name, HTTP/Server1.domain1.com).
We’ve checked for Kerberos communication with Wireshark and see that the client does communicate, and passes the SPNEGO token to the WebLogic server, but we do not see any Kerberos communication on the WebLogic server. The server simply requests Authorisation again…
If required we have the full wireshark traces of the WebLogic Server and the Client. We also have very detailed WebLogic tracing which I can provide.
Any thoughts?
Kind Regards,
Nika.It turned out to be solved by removing the SSOAccount in AD and recreating it (including re-setting the password, which had already been done several times).
Regards,
Nika.
