Spool is not gentrating

Hi All,
We r ctreating one job and assign the variant to that job .That job is already having the lot of varients Run the job but for new variant it is not gentrating spool .For same programm with differnt variant it is gentrating the spool .But for same variant which one we create newly that is not create spool
Please help me on this.

When i execute MC.9 transaction in foreground i am able to view the report output. but when i execute it in background spool is not getting generated.

I have checked list of versions in the 'select version' button. But my question is when i select 'execute in background', it is not generated spool. Is there any relation between spool and version. If there is, please explain me what it mean and how it relates.

Spool list not available from SM37

Hi All,
We have scheduled a job and running successfully.
But spool list not displayed from SM37, whereas spool request generated in SP01 at the same time when the job is completed.
We've checked with the developer and they dint find anything wrong from program end.
Kindly suggest what is going wrong here.

Spool list not available in SM37

i'm facing a error "spool list not avaiable" when i execute a background job and the job status is in finished state,but when i click the spool button i'm facing this error. I tried the sap note 1372936 and 1174127 but both notes are in cannot be implemented status.I tried hard to search a solution, but couldn't find.Please help if anyone knows the solution.

after call transaction i have used write statement and submit the report in the BDC program.
BDC report is displaying the IM52 update budget orders in the output of the report.

Spool Request Not being Generated.

HI,
when ever a PO is delivered as O/P spool request is not generated.
if we choose LP01 as printer Spool is being generated. if client printer or LOCAL printer is selected spool
is not generated. is there any settings to be done for generating the SPOOL request?
i need to get the O/P as well as i need to view the O/P in Spool also... please help me on this.

Hi,
go to SPAD-->check the spool setting generally for some outputs the if you check delete spool after output
then the spool will be deleted once the print is taken.
remove the setting ..
or go to t-code SU01 -->Under spool control -->remove the check mark for Delete after Ouput.

Afer background job finished, spool was not generated but all background jobs is not
soem background jobs was created spool.
even if same user and same backgorund job, sometime generated spool or not.
how can I solve??

Hi,
Spool will be generated only spool specification wil be defined for that job.
Select the job go to steps spool specification you can see the device assigned to it.

Print spooler will not start,

Tried: Went o control panel, administrative tools, services, print spooler, and in the upper left hand coner . Clicked start to start the spooler. would not start got an error message on systm resourses not avaiable.

Welcome and Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Forum
Please perform the below shown steps to resolve the issue:
Right click on My Computer
Select Manage
Double click on Services and Application
Double click on Services
Scroll down to Print Spooler and double click on it
Click on Dependencies tab
Check what dependencies the print spooler has, if any
you may need to click on "+" on those dependencies to more dependencies
Go back to the Services list
On each of the spooler dependencies, double click on it
Make sure it is set to Automatic in the Startup Type drop down menu
Now click on Start to start the service
Click OK
Now try and print
if you still get spooler error messages, try this
Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator
Please type in the command as shown below:
sc config spooler depend= RPCSS (Note the space after the = but not before)
restart the print spooler

Spool Command not found error

I am trying to get the list of active and inactive sessions for some users and created a script for this but getting some error message.
Could you please check why I am getting this error while running from the putty. The same sql command I run from sql developer and get the output with no errors.

Look at the script kill_session_generate.sql very carefully, especially the lines before and after the SPOOL command as well as the spool command itself. Consider deleting and retyping the line with the SPOOL command in case invisible special characters are causing problems

spooler is not responding when trigerred smart form . To trigger spooler request what are the authorization need to give to user.

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model - there have been hundreds of Photosmart printer models over the last decade? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? What program are you trying to print from?

Spool List not printing in Background

Hi,
When i try to execute the report in background in development system i can able to see the spool list, whereas when i try to execute the same report in testimg server(may be with more data) i can not see the spool list but the job is in finish status.
Please can i know the reason for the same.

Hi!
This may be because you started the program with the option, not to create new spool request, or to delete the spool request immediately.
When you run your program in background, check the printer options also.

Print Spooler does not work after Win 8.1 install

I upgraded several computers to Win 8.1. Most are operating normally and do not have this problem. This is relevant to show that it is not a printer hardware or compatibility problem. On one computer, the print function is not working.
I've tried reinstalling printers, getting new drivers, etc. It comes down to this. An active (connected) printer is selected and print test page is selected. The dialog box says that the print queue is full. I went to the queue subdirectory
and deleted all files, no change to the results. The Print spooler is active in task manager. Stopping and restarting the print spooler makes no difference. Any ideas?

I had similar problems with HP Printers on the LAN (after upgrade from Windows 8 tot 8.1
32bit)
HP Laserjet 4000 Laserjet 4050 and Laserjet 4250 - all with Network interface.
Erratic behaviour: inserting blank pages, no duplex printing, programs stalling when printing etc…
Printers and network are fully functional and work perfectly with W7 and XP. Not with Windows 8.1.
Strange thing: Epson Aculaser and Ricoh Aficio 3224 worked fine but those were installed after the Windows update.
So definitely something with the Microsoft drivers for the HP Laserjet printers.
After a few installs and uninstalls of the HP printer drivers the problems stayed.
Then I removed all HP related driver files (C:\\Windows\\system32\\spool\\PRINTERS")
and all references in the Register because the standard uninstall of the drivers did not remove all files.
-> First uninstall ALL HP printers (laserjet, deskjet, officejet etc ..)
-> Then look in
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Print Processors]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers]
Make a backup of the registry keys and then remove all files starting with hp….
Remove the print processors starting with hp
(i.e. hpzpplhn.exe)
Then restart your system.
Reinstall the printers, they should be OK now.
If you still have duplex printing problems : replace the hpzpplhm print processor with the winprint processor. (may give other limitations, google for more info).
In my case this solved the erratic printing problems.

Spool is not generating for deleted line item in PO.

Hi Experts,
A PO which was created in SRM pushed into SAP environment and when it was created initially spool was generated and user was able to take the print out. But if he delete a linte item no spool is created and message log was saying there is print relevent changes exists. I could the the change updated linte item change history of that PO.
I tried replicating the scenario in test environment but I have not come across this situation. Please help if any one worked on similar problem.
