Hi Friends,
there is problem with purchase order print priview and spool print output are different.
mean : in me23n .. for a perticular po .. in po priview the TAX VALUES value is 120 coming..
when i am giving print with spool.. the amount value is showing TAX VALUE
is 443..why it is showing wrong..
this is for perticular output type.
why TAX VALUES are showing different in print view and
spool print.

but the valiadtions are happening in standard functional module PRICING.
it is realted script(medruck)...but there is no code point for spool or printer side..
and the issue is realted one PO OUTPUT TYPE..
it is sap standard debugging... when i am debugging the functional module PRICING.
the values are coming dynammically.

EMail + spool printing

Hi Experts..
I have a requirement where i am using exit & BTE for mail sending thru Dunning, f.27 & APP..
Though the mail is goin perfectly but I need to generate spools alongside mail generation too..
But prob is tht at a time C_FINAA-NACHA can have value I or 1 or 2.
'I' is for mailing & '1' is for printing.
BTE r 2040 & 1040.
Need to hv both the value for both mail n spool printing.
Kindly guide me pls..thanks in advance..

If you want to mail the output, once you give the print, It is possible.
What u have to do is that get the Spool number from driver program using the function module OPEN_FORM & CLOSE_FORM.
Once you get the spool number, you can convert spool job to PDF and send that to exact address.
Check this procedure.
DATA :g_spool LIKE itcpp.
CALL FUNCTION 'CLOSE_FORM'
    IMPORTING
      RESULT = g_spool
    EXCEPTIONS
      OTHERS = 1.
g_spool-tdspoolid "spool request number
Call this function module to convert spool to Pdf
CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
Sendind mail using the following function module.
SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

make this setting change:
in SPAD > In the menu Settings -> Spool System
In the others tab check the first check box in the Output Controller block, SAVE and exit

Problem printing when spool print documents is selected as apposed to print direct

I have an officejet 6500 and I'm having a problem printing a label created using Label Factory Deluxe software. The job will not print if spool print documents so that printing finishes faster is selected under the printer properties. The job appears to be sent to the printer. The printer icon appears in the task tray for less than a second and the printer makes a trill sounding beep but nothing prints. In addition there is nothing in the print que. It will print however, if print directly to the printer is selected. Any ideas???

Well with out any info on versions the easiest way is to check the Not Printer Option on in the Page Setup of the Report.

Spool printing undefined character symbols in sap script

Hi,
When I am trying to print a script, the spool print preview shows a times font and the size that I had defined in the form, but when the print is coming out it is coming with a courier font with the default font size of the printer and it is printing a smiley symbol on the start of every line. I have checked the fonts in all the windows of the form and everywhere it says times with a size of 12.
Please help me out

Is that problem only at 1 printer or at all printers.
If it is onlty at 1 specific printer ask the basis guys .

Spool printing takes a long time for just one user

Hello,
Could someone please guide on what could be the reason that spool printing takes a long time for just one user ?
I've monitored all the spool processes through SM50, and I've found that a very long time elapses before the printing job appears in one of the four spool processes.

can u check the trace file(Red color error) of that spool process. Also can u see if there are any system logs in SM21 related to that spool request.
Also see how many pages the user is giving print @ 1 shot. Suppose if the printer to whcih the user is giving print is a network printer, see the network response time.
Have u tried to ask the same user to give print to some other printer. Also have u asked some other user to print to that problematic printer. Check the responses under this scenario also.

i have a issue on spool print ie i have one spool number XXXXX it shows total number of pages as 1 page in Spool Output controller but once we click the smartforms link in spool output it contain 5 pages internally. so user want to print 3 page only. so i this case the print is not coming for 3rd page because of it shows only one page in spool out put. so can you please explain me how can i achieve this one .

With SEND IMMEDIATELY, it is not printing? why the list comes? No list appear in this case because you will not goes to ME9F.
First make sure that from ME22N it prints the print.
then think of Me9F.
It has to print the PO staright away from ME22N with SEND IMMEDIATELY on SAVING THE TRANSACTION, if the right printer is assigned.
Take the help of Basis person to know the printer settings.
Try with other printer.

Report Spool Printing Font Change

Hello All,
While printing the spool request created by ABAP report(ALV) print document is not much clear due to small font , is there any technique to change the font size while printing the spool request or any technique to print horizontal line between each row into spool like vertical line between each column so that it can be understandable.

In my case, I found that SAP was calculating the max line size for the printout, based on the maximum possible number of output columns, as determined from the field catalog. That resulted in SAP setting 512 and reducing the font on landscape output to the point that a microscope was needed! I fixed by limiting the output of some columns (splitting texts into multiple rows of ALV, along with the essential key fields), and setting my max line size to 200. The resulting printout is small, but still readable.
layout - max_linesize = 200.
check also:
gt_print-no_change_print_params = 'X' (of type slis_print_alv). "don't allow SAP to change what is set in job or in background submission

R/3 Spool printing from portal, page breakup is not proper

Hai All,
We use Enterprise portal to access SAP R/3 4.6C server. From portal when a program is submitted in background by giving a receipent name. The spool content are sent to the person SAP inbox.
In portal we have created SAP inbox as a iview and using that i can view the spool content. The problem is when i try to print the spool from portal the page breaks are not properly coming. Whereas when i print the same spool from SAP gui the page breaks are properly coming.
Please let me know how to resolve this problem and let me know why this problem is occuring only in portal.

What exact EP version are you using?
In addtion, please have a look at transaction SM04 in the R/3 system where you can monitor all connection to the system. verify that connection are closed\re-used as required.

Issue in spool printing

hi experts,
I have a program in which I am submitting another program via its selection screen to SAP-POOL and printing the output . something like this:
SUBMIT z_tstpicklist TO SAP-SPOOL
        SPOOL PARAMETERS params WITHOUT SPOOL
        DYNPRO USING SELECTION-SCREEN 1000
                          WITH p_werks = p_werks
                          WITH s_wadat IN s_wadat
                          WITH s_kunnr IN s_kunnr
                          WITH s_vbeln IN s_vbeln
                          WITH r_bar   = r_bar
                          WITH p_rpt   = p_rpt
                         WITH p_pal = p_pal
                         with p_seq = p_seq
                          AND RETURN.
Now the problem is.... the output is being printed, but along with it another page containing the selection parameters of the submitted program is also being printed.
I dont want the selection page to print. How can I suppress it?

But I shall change the PRBIG parameter and try it.

Reader X spooling print issue

we just recently switch our whole network from XP/cs4 to win 7/reader x. We didn't reinstall cs4 as nobody needed anything beside being able to read pdf and print.
Everytime somebody print a pdf document (for example our biggest one 48 pages) and print multiple copy (let say 20), the spooling process for a normal user will literraly go through 960 times and send 1 document to print with 960 pages. on My pc in IT department with either reader X or CS4, it only process 48 pages and sent 20 copy.
The other issue linked to spooling is when we try out A3 documents (2 pages questionnaires for patients 3.7Mb files), nobody can print on network beside myself, reader usually fail on spooling, or print half document without any Text, just images of box.
I'm not really use how to troubleshoot this as we didn't do anything, we use a print server just as before with a spool queue for HP (all sames) or differents sharps. It doesn't matter which printer we choose, which make me think it's on a user settings/rights as it work fine from domain admin accounts/IT pc.

after more tests it seems that any pc that got only reader X will have this problem (2 documents of 3 pageswill print 1 doc of 6 pages back to back without blank page between.)
on the 2 pc that got cs4 (mine is full installation including adobe pro 9, colleague got all but pro 9) everything work fine.
on any other pc that got wiped from XP and received win 7 with adobe reader 10.1.0 this problem occur.
I also discovered this problem only occur when we use the main print screen from adobe software, but not if we go into printer properties and setup the amount of copies we want.

Why do my printers take forever to spool print data

When i print to either of my printers Xerox or HP i check their status and when i open the print queue it show spooling 1% then about 1 minute later it will start to print and this is just for a small text file 1 line on a word doc??

Yes, this can be done while scheduling a job. When creating a job step (transaction SM36) there is a button "Printer specifications". Select any printer there and option "Send to SAP spool". Spool request will be created but it won't be printed out.
If you are using RMMRP000 program, you also might want to uncheck "Display material list" checkbox on the selection screen. If using other program, see if there is an option to disable the log.

SAP Spool Printing

I am attempting to print my Quarterly tax reports. When SAP is asked to batch print multiple documents, it gives me one Windows Print dialog per document rather than one dialog for the entire batch. This is causing the documents to print backwards because each dialog generated covers up the one before it.
Once I generate the reports this is my process,,,,
I use T-code Sp01 to get my listing. I place a checkmark to select the PDFs( say 200 of them) then there is a print box that displays and flashes. I have to keep clicking ok so the reports will print.
Is there a more efficient, cleaner way to print these reports? We are on ECC6 and we implemented EHP4 this past October.

If you want to print all the spool request in one time, your should try:
1) Go to PU19
2) System -> Own Spool Request
3) Find the request, mark the request.
4) Spool Request -> Print -> Direct Processing.
