one of my end user has run the below job in background and job log is given below.

It may be the reason that your o/s printer is not reachable from sap.

Spool History Status is complete for Incorrect email or Fax

Hi All,
We have configured mail and fax for a Ouput type. The spool history for this Output shows "completed" even if we give a Wrong email id or Fax number.
Can anyone suggest,where can we check this?-----
Checked in the Output Device configuration..
"Do not Query host spooler for output status" is not checked. If this is the problem..
Then why am i not able to replicate the issue,when the same setting is available in Assurance.
But the issue could nt be replicated. Kindly enlighten..

Welcome to the forum.
The first landing page is asking for a Fonera login (which we are not).
The second is asking for your primary BT username and password (BT email address and password) by which route we log in as BT BB customers.
To log in therefore, you have to jump from the first landing page to the second. Just create a bookmark for the second landing page on your browser.

Not able to print to locl printer, spool request status is in wait

Hi All,
When user print to locl printer, the spool request is created and we get a error message saying "connection closed after (protocol) error (RC=1)". And we found the status of spool request is in wait state and if double clicked on it, it is showing "Internal error printing".
Below is the log of Spool work process for your reference
Found unqueued job 21701/1 (LOCL)
ERROR => Printer LOCL: Lookup failed ?!?!? -> Status DELAY http://rspopcc. 0813
Just to update you user is able to print all other documents except the documents from SAP application. And user is connecting to SAP application server through Citrix.
We are on HP-UX, Oracle database and SAP R/3 3.1i version.

Yes it is a network printer. User is printing to his default printer(LOCL, with host printer __DEFAULT) and we are using device type SAPWIN and access method F(printing on front end computer).

Spool Output status

Hello Experts,
Spool request created but printer output status shows that in SP01
"-" list contains no data
Checked the below links says that

Hi Thiru,
Go to your printer option. remove check at
1. print immediately
2. delete after output.
then your spool will be displayed in SP01.
The print dialog box (where one specifies the printer name) has some options including a checkbox that says "delete when completed" (or something similar - near the "print immediate" checkbox). If that is selected the spool will be deleted, upon successful output. If you want the spool to remain available then make sure that checkbox is not being selected.

i'm printing a form in background job.
i've passed the print parameters with submit for immediate printing from spool.
but the output is created in the spool with status 'Frontend Unavailable'.
the default printer 'LOCL' has also been configured and connected to the system.
there are multiple application servers.

BackGround Job's Spool Request is having "Waiting" "Frontend unavailable"

I am facing one problem related to Spool Request, which is generated through Scheduled Background Jobs (scheduled by funcional people).
The Background Job is having status "completed" when analyzing it. But, its associated Spool Request is showing "waiting" Status, with "Frontend unavailable" as Status Text.
Here is the brief status of that Spool Request.

Here , in our Landscape , there is not Print Server. All are taking prints through, Networked Printer and their local connected Printers.
Can i configure "send to SAP Spooler for now" instead of "Print Immediately "in the Print Specification of those Background Jobs ?
Moreover, Some Background jobs are sending E-Mails with the processed Reports as an Attachments. They are showing sometime unexpected behavior, in sending emails, although there is no relation is with this Printing related issue.
When i am looking into "Overview of Send Orders" of SCOT, some Background Jobs are showing success for sending emails, and some are not showing success, even though All the recipients are same for the scheduled Background Jobs which are running on same time.

Spool Requests in Waiting not getting deleted by RSPO0041 or RSPO1041

Hello Experts,
We are currently running report RSPO0041 in our system to delete old spool requests, this report is running fine and deleting other spool requests except in status "waiting".
I have also done test run with RSPO1041, but even though the requests in the status waiting are not getting deleted. The only option I have is to delete it by SPAD.
The issue I have is that, the output device is not defined for a set of users, due to which their requests are picking up Frontend printing which is not possible which is the cause large number of requests are going in status waiting.
We are not in a position to define output device for such users.
My question here is: Do we have any other option in above reports to include the spool with status waiting?

Hi Amit,
What is the option you are selecting in both of these reports? Make sure you have selected "in processing" and "without output request" in rspo1041 with the corresponding dates, then I am sure it will get deleted.

3.Sendmail use function 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'
Let the program running at background job, then I checked the job,
result as below...

Spool Error - Errors occurred processing this print request

Hi,
      I have a problem printing documents through spool.
1. I run a form from Form Builder, execute and select to print from spool
2. In SP02, I select the spool request created and Select Direct Printing.
Spool request Status is changed to error and following is the error log.
I get this for all print requests from spool. When I print these documents directly, I have no problem. I understand there is some problem with the spool server but do not know what it is.
I also observed that when the spool access method is G - I have no problems in printing.
Printer: HP HP laserJet PS (2430)
Host Spool Access Method: L: Print Locally Using LP/LPR.
Device Class: Standard Printer.

Hi Sri,
Try to setup the printer at OS LEVEL.
then,
If on Windows---use method C.
if not,
use method U and map to your printer queue at OS level.
Hope this resloves this issue.

During script call send print parameters and it will be sent to spool accordingly.
After getting the print preview of the SCRIPT.
Click On PRINT.
then one spool request will be generated by system.
Go to SP01.

Instance Status Yellow on SAP MMC Console

Dear Experts,
We are installing NW 7.0 dialog instance on Windowsx64 bit platform, Central instance is running on Aix64 bit,
NW 7.0 Java add-in has installed on Central instance,
I want to start only abap instance on new windows application server, i set rdisp/j2ee_start parameter to "0",
Now java process do not start but SAP mmc console status is yellow because of it, disp+dowk process message is J2EE status info unavaliable,
How can unistall Java instance from newly instaled application server ?

Regarding the MMC display "J2EE status info unavailable", as you don't want a dual stack remove the entry icm/HTTP/j2ee_0 from the instance profile and set the parameter 'is/HTTP/default_root_hdl = abap'.
Please reboot your system (bounce OS) to see if this helps.
If this does not help please try this.
1. Stop the SAP service
2. Open a command prompt
3. Go to usr\sap\<SID>\...\exe\run
4. call 'sapstartsrv.exe -t' from the command line
5. Confirm the dialog window
6. Start the service again

Background job executed as SAP*, need advice to change owner.

Hi all,
I'm facing an issue where my SAP background job currently has 2 job "SAP_CCMS_CPH_REORG" and "SAP_CCMS_CPH_HRCOLL" under the ownership of sap. I would like to move them away from SAP ID.
I have tried to recreate the job using sm36 (and using my ID with sap_all profile) in testing environment, but it not seem to work.
Highly appreciates any advices and/or pointers with regards to the above mention question.

Thank you for the reply but I have forgotten to add a few updates.
The issue is that I can change owner from SAP* to my ID with sap_all profile.
But, after execution,
Job with sap* owner ended successfully, with spool status marked as completed.
whereas
Job with my ID as owner ended successfully, but spool status marked as "waiting"
error mesage:
