Spool request with Respective Tilte(P.O)

Hi Experts,
   please help me, My problem is
                   While it is being created spool requst for particular P.O,
           I have to set the tile this P.O.
Then user can find the requset number respective P.O.Number.
             How to set the tile for sppol Request corresponding P.O.

Doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries

Hi All,
I have a doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries.
Suppose I have a customizing request with respect to a table that contains say 10 entries in the development system.
Now I am transporting this request to the quality system in which the same table contains 20 entries.
When I am transporting this table from the development system to the quality system, will my 10 entries in the development system get added to the 20 entries in the quality system or will my table get overwritten in the quality system.
What difference will this be if it is a workbench request ? .

So if we are transporting contents of a table from one system to another, it should always be a customizing request and not a workbench request right.
If the "Delivery Class" of the table is 'C'(Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import) it will ask for a customizing request.
If it is 'A'(Application table (master and transaction data)), it will ask for Workbench.
To add to your previous qn, when you transport the entries to subsequent system it will always check the KEY FIELDS and then update. If you see a transport, then the table entries are represented by their key fields.
If you create new entries in your table and transport, it will add the records. Else it will modify them

I have created a custom Format Type with 65*550 (ZABC_SAP) , but still the output gets truncated in the spool.
In sp01 . For the spool request ... If it displayed in Graphical layoout ... Output is getting truncated but when we see in Raw format .. i can see the entire output. But it is not at all formatted.

Hello Tanuj,
You need to use a page format greater than 255 columns for sure. However still if it does not solve the issue then you may consider using the note 186603.
PS: I guess you are on a higher release than 4.6 C . For this release this note íIt has a text attachment for a report tat allows to display such spool requests.

Calling Transaction SP01 (Display spool requests) with parameters via URL

Hi,
I would like to be able to list all spool requests of a certain title via a URL.
Unfortunately ITS does not seem to work. A URL constructed like this
http://host:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=500&sap-language=EN&transaction=SP01&S_RQTITL-LOW=Testing123&okcode=CRET
causes a short dump that SP01 (Program RSOSP01NR) is a Module Pool.
I am therefore considering the following options:
1. BSP Program
2. Java WebDynpro
3. ABAP WebDynpro
Ideally, I want to be able to enter in my browser something like
http://host:port/<BSP_or_WebDynPro_stuff>&~title=Testing123
and for this to show in the browser a list of all spool requests that are named "Testing123".
Can someone advise whether any of the above options are preferable?
Also, whether such a program should call transaction SP01 with parameters (skipping first screen) or look to using the associated function modules.

How to print the spool request with a given file name.

Saving spool request with multiple Adobe PDF files to local directory

Hi,
I have a spool file with multiple Adobe PDF files in it. You can only save the spool content to local directory by opening and save each PDF files. Does anyone know whether there is a way to combine all the PDF files within a spool into one big PDF file?

I am using function module RSPO_OUTPUT_SPOOL_REQUEST to print the contents of the spool request. I want to print multiple spool requests at a time. We can input only one spool request number to the above function module at a time. Is there any way that I can print multiple spool requests with only single Print Popup Window ?

I tried that option at first place only. It results in multiple Print Popups. I want to avoid this. For all spool print requests, I want to show ONLY ONE Print Popup.

Is there any FM to generate spool request for error log of a background job

I am going to create a program to create deliveries and do PGI. This program will be assigned to periodic background job.Now whatever errors are generated in program i have to send the error log to spool request.Is there any FM for generating spool request with this error log or how can this be done? Simple Request - How Do I Print a Spool Request in 3.1i?

Here is the scenario:
I have created an FI Misc Credit Memo for a customer who wants a hard copy of the document. Using transaction code FB12, I generate a correspondence. Then using transaction code F.64, I attempt to print the document. This generates a spool request with a number like 86,007.
From there I go to system>services>output control which takes me to the spool request screen. From there, I am missing the next step.
This screen has fields for:
Spool request number (attempted number given when spool request was generated - 86,007, field only fits 5 characters so comma has been excluded)
Spool request name ( I think this is my problem as I have no idea where to find this)
User name (field is populated)
From date (field is populated)
Client (field is populated)
Output device (have entered desired printer name)
Format (usually self-populates once a successful print request is entered)
Title (unnecessary field I believe)
Recipient (unnecessary field)
Department (unnecessary field)
No one on our staff has been able to help me with this issue so I've turned to the community. I am an end user (Tax Analyst) who possesses little technical knowledge. My apologies. Thank you in advance for any help given!

remove values from all the fields in the selection screen and enter only your spool number. The Execute wiht 'F8' and if the spool request is found, with the "printer" push-button you can print it.

Possible to change the default spool request title ?

Hello,
I'm SAP Basis guy, I've been asked by our functional team if it would be possible to change the default spool request title.
Our endusers have access to transaction SP01, where every morning, they can see the spools request that have been generated during the execution of night batches.
Currently, the default spool name is displayed :
Title or name of spool request LIST1S LOCL ZREPORTSUFFIX (in transactions sm37 and sp01)
Is it possible to change the default name of this spool request with some abap coding ?

goto transaction SPAD and change the default values as you require but i doubt whether you would be able to change the spool title after the job has been triggered i think it is nt possible
but for further requests you can change it from SPAD

Spool Request contains disrelated data

Dear All
I met a strange issue, the spool reqeust contains disrelated data.
the phenomenon is:
I created a JOB with function fronted. But when the JOB finished, I found other disrelated data in this spool request.
I'm not sure whether one spool request can contain several print requests?
When I create the request at the same time other function create in this spool request?

By default, SAP merges forms in existing spool requests with same properties, listed here: [Note 85318 appending documents to existing spool requests|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/85318]. You may force them to go in a new spool request using output parameters when printing the form (see the note).

DATA: wa_print TYPE slis_print_alv.
wa_print-print = 'X'.
pass wa_print to Is_print in the exporting paramters list of Function module Reuse_alv_grid_display.
and then go to tcode SP01.. to check the spool request.. and click on spool request to see the ALV output..

Problem with Spool requests

Hello ,
Some spool requests are completed with status "Completed(Problem)". When we check the output Request Logs find below things :
Print request processing log
The host spool is reporting errors
This request may not have been printed. Status unknown
Most important attributes of spool request
Request number 43899
When we checked we are getting printouts fine but still in status we are getting completed with problem in Red mark.
Can anybody tell abt this confusing situation why we are getting status in sP01 like this.

File = /usr/sap/SID/SYS/DVEBMGS00/data.
UNIX:-
check the file system status whether it is full (100%)
Then increase file system thorugh OS level.
Windows:-
Check your hard disk of file system.

Printing invoices with VF31 in only one spool request

Hello,
we want to print a number of invoices with VF31 using only one spool request, as at this time we become one spool request for each document.
The problem is that VF31 calls indirectly RSNAST00 and this program makes a call to the print program where we have OPEN_FORM and END_FORM each time, so this creates one spool request every time the program is called.
Is there a way to print in only one spool request without doing big changes to programs?

Hi,
To append to an existing spool, see the SAP Notes 85318 and 16410.
For spools to be appended the parameters 'New spool request' and 'Do not Append Print Jobs' must be set to 'No' by the application creating the spools.
For Sapscript, when the application call the function module OPEN_FORM in your print program, you can transfer a structure ITCPO to the parameter OPTIONS. Via ITCPO-TDNEWID, you can select the option 'New Spool Request'.Via ITCPO-TDFINAL, you can can select if the spool is closed.
