Sporatic changing of screen from black of white to white on black

Lately when I'm reading My books the page will sporadically change from the normal black on white to white on black. This auto swiching sometimes lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes. Somes the change will last a 1/2 hour or more. I've check my Assessability settings and everything is turned off. This never happened before the latest upgrade. What is causing this? I'm concerned my Ipad May be biting the dust.

There is a setting in the iBooks app itself that can control that. With a book open, tap the AA icon in the upper right and there is a setting for Auto-Night theme. Try toggling that on and off. There is also a white and black setting above that Auto-Night Theme setting.

I'm assuming you clicked on the color patch besides the word <Character> to open the color picker window.
At the right side of this window there is a vertical bar that has 2 horizontal black lines at the bottom.
This is actually a slider. Pull it upwards with the color picker and color will appear in the window.

Is the screen-rotation lock on? If it is then there is a padlock shown in the upper right by the battery icon. To turn off double click the Home button and fully swipe the bottom row fully right past the music controls and tap the padlock.

Changing sliding panels from black to white

Does anyone know whether the option to change the sliding panels theme from black to white is still possible in Photos 1.0?
We use this theme on all the DVD's we create of customers making their own rings with us but it appears it's been removed as an option.

OK, if you technically can't help as it has been hacked/unlocked then let's talk about another iPhone I have that nothing as been modified since it was purchased from the carrier.
If I had a similar situation with this iPhone, could the camera problem be a software failure, and not just an hardware problem?

I've decided to relent a little and give you a hint, so you can do some looking and figure this out for yourself. Everything you need for either of those tasks is accessed from the File menu...
And a further hint. Indesign does not have a black and white or grayscale working colorspace, so you never truly have a black and white layout, though all of the objects in the file may use only black ink. You can, however, output a PDF, in a couple of ways, that will convert your color file to one that uses only black.

Changed my mind from black to white

I recently decided to buy a macbook and decided to get the black one. however, i have changed my mind and decided to go for the white. heres why...
saw both in the shop and noticed that the two tone white (white case, off white keyboard area) looks very nice while sexy black is sexy and nice matte finish but not two tone and shows fingerprints
girlfriend thinks white looks cool
although its against common thought, i think the white bezel actually accentuates the nice display in this case
will use alongside apple cinema display and external keyboard... white macbook will look nice with white external keyboard
white cabling and white macbook versus white cabling and black macbook
cheaper.
of course, im not 100% sure about my decisions but thought that i would share my opinions on the subject.

I had a first gen. iBook G3 (all white, USB ports, not clamshell)... the white casing was a clear plastic with the white painted 'behind' which gave a very pleasing effect, as if you could peer into the surface. Secondly, the plastic inside around the keyboard and screen was silver coloured, which provided an expensive look.
The recent G4 iBook's traded this look for the solid white case, which scratched like **** and the putty coloured interior - which I always thought looked a bit cheap by comparison.
I'm very tempted by the new black MacBook, though it is not surprising that Apple have launched it with so many i-laptop wannabees out there. It's a cool look, though the matt finish shows up the fingermarks like crazy. My interest in a new laptop has been fuelled entirely by the fact that it is black. The irony is, that in going to check one out instore, you quickly realise the white one is also good due to the shiny casework, glossy screen and new keyboard design. If the black one was shiny, that would be a hard act to follow. The matt black is really a kind of charcoal colour - much like the new wave of TVs, which are quickly eclipsing silver's hold on the market over the last 5 or so years.
The black has the wow factor for bucking the trend.
The new MacBook features kinda suit the white.
Tough call.

Unable to change text color (from Black)

For the next person who blunders into this and searches for an answer...
If you have a Condition Code whose decoration is a custom color, and you delete the color, the text goes to Black, and you cannot change the color of text bearing that CC - with local color override, or a Character Format that applies a color (I didn't try Paragraph format).
I am copying formatted content in from an older document that doesn't conform to current templates. I had deleted unused colors in the source, but not unused Condition Codes, one of which rode in with some text. What was controlled by the CC in the old doc is now controlled by a color Character format, except that when applied, the text stayed stubornly black (until I nuked the CC).

This does not surprise me. As long as the condition is applied and "Show Condition Formats" is active FrameMaker will show the Condition Color (now: Black) and not any underlying text colors.

Nope, the Q10 has a black theme and that's what it has.

In PSE 12 how can I change my watermark label eg colour of text from black to white etc

I have created a watermark to use in batch processing from RAW to jpg but I don't like the watermark and want to change some elements eg change the text from black to white but every time I change it, PSE changes it back to black - how do I fix this?

This isn't Lion-specific. I had the same prob changing OS a couple of years ago and now again changing to Lion on a new laptop.
Changing the Date and Time settings would do it (you'd think) but it doesn't. It was always embedded in International (now Language &Text). It seems to be a bug though as I've Custom Edited selecting 12-hr clock with am/pm and have the same issue. On-the-hour has no am/pm or zeros.
I've learnt not to waste too much energy on it once it doesn't make logical sense as it's generally a bug.
I'm loving Lion though - even unexpectedly using the natural scrolling.....but I digress....

Use CMD+Shift+ 4 anf the scribe round the window (with some other space around it) and then use the camera icon in a Post to navigate to it (the Screen grab should be on your Desktop) and post a pic here please.
You may want to use Preview or some other app to anonymise any info shown.
I can't say I have heard of this.
