  • Visualizer options are greyed out

I just realized that the Visualizer Options are greyed out for no apparent reason. I checked both the "iTunes Visualizer" and the "iTunes Classic Visualizer" settings to no avail. Is there a way to activate this feature?
    I am running iTunes 11.1.0.126 on Windows 7 64-bit.
    Thank you.

So does that mean nobody knows how to fix this or nobody cares?

  • Why can't Apple install an iTunes Visualizer option??

Why can't Apple install an iTunes Visualizer option to the screen saver, instead of the iPhoto slideshow??  I don't always want pictures moving over the screen, and especially when I'm listening to the music channels. Having such a large format for the iTunes Visualizer would be . . . you know, cool.

I totally agree and would love to see that option! I think the best way to tell Apple these things would be at http://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html though.

  • TPT2 Camera spot adjust option Win8.1

I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 with all driver updates, including the camera drivers and  the Lenovo Settings Dependecy Package, as well as Lenovo Settings. The camera app works, however, I don't see the "spot adjust" option. I verified that I do have the 2919355 windows update installed.
    Thanks in advance for help!

Me too. Where has it gone? All updates have been installed automatically. Thanks!

  • Changing all folder's visualization options

    Hi
I read on the find out how of apple's that we can change all folders visualization options by clicking +default setting+ (actually, it is +ajustes por omision+, in spanish), but i tried so and it didn't; all the rest foders keep being shown as before. Is it a crash? what can i do?
    Thanks for your help

    Baltwo:
It's "show view options" in English. Also obtained by typing CMD+J
Those only apply to the top-level folder. Each folder you open uses whatever you've elected to use as the defaults. Select a folder, CMD+J, set the view as you desire, click on Use as Default button. That setting will be used for all windows that you open in the future that have never been opened previously. All other windows that you opened will retain whatever view you previously selected for them.
If you want to reset everything to one view, close all open Finder windows, launch the Terminal app (/Applications/Utilities/), copy & paste this command into the window that pops up,
    find ./ -name ".DS_Store" -depth -exec rm {} \;
hit the return key, quit the Terminal app, restart, open a Finder window, CMD+J, set up the view options as desired, click the Use as Defaults button, and close the view options window. Now, every Finder window you open will have this view.

I've upgraded to Lion OS (10.7.2) and now the 'Option' menu item under 'Visualizer' in iTunes is gray; is there a solution to this or is it a software glitch?

Me too. Tried all of the usual suggestions; reset cache, reset warnings, messed with the hosts files, everything,
Still can't connect to the store, all I'm trying to do is download all the album artwork for my albums...

  • Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise Chart Visualization Options - Sparkline Anyone?

While Crystal Xcelsius certain has an awesomeness factor, there seems to be a limitation when it comes to the variety of data visualization charting options available to use. If this product is supposed to be the "de-facto" dashboarding tool offered by BusinessObjects post the SAP acquisition, one would think they would make an effort to enhance the product to include the same level of dashboarding options as were previously available through older products recently phased out. For example, the variety of chart types to use is quite limited in Xcelsius 2008, whereas, Dashboard Manager,  previously offered as part of the Business Objects Enterprise solution stack (XI R2 & R3), was much richer in terms of available charting types offered when constructing a dashboard, covering a host of business relevant subject and measurement areas within the concept of a catalogue of related objects. Crystal Xcelsius 2008 is the replacement offering, and holds its own for other reasons, like the interactive visualization of data, which no one can compete with in this space. However, with its limited charting options, it seems from reading the dev library and BOB-board that SAP/BusinessObjects is advising folks to create their own add-ons, i.e. their own charts which can be deployed and used as templates, thus, solving the problem. For those of us who are non-germane code writers in their day to day work, this option is not viable as it requires a modicum of software development practice to write Xcelsius add-on packages, much like the experience of using QWAAS which is comparable to ASP.NET coding vs. making the data connectivity to the dashboards from data feed types like a Universe or a relational database.
Having vetted my frustration, here is my ask...I would like to create a sparkline chart in Xcelsius -- I have a copy if you want to see what I am trying to describe, the image, just an example which I found on the web. The presentation of this chart type has a very "Xcesius-y" look and Feel to me so I thought I would ask the group a) interest in a topic thread on this forum related to sharing Xcesius add-on or related Source code files in an effort to maintain a sense of helpful product exploitation ala the Apple Apps open source platform concept. I need help with the Sparkline sooner rather than later so any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you seen the spakeline add-in by Donald?

  • What happened to visualizer options

    what happened to visualizer options

    What a very good question!
I was missing the Options tab as well and this solved the problem. After thinking about it: How could a shutdown signal find its way to the Computer through the video channel alone...?
This issue is not mentioned in the documentation.
    Thanks,

  • ITunes Visualizer options greyed out?, iTunes Visualizer options greyed out?

    Hi,
I prefer the "Classic" iTunes visualizer but for some reason the "options" menu is now greyed out for some reason.
I've just bought a new iMac i3 and copied my library across, prior to this the option was "live" and i could adjust the frame rate, artwork and quality settings etc?
    Any idea what's happened?
    Thanks.

So does that mean nobody knows how to fix this or nobody cares?

  • Visualizer Options?

Would anyone know if I can choose different visualizer content? Perhaps something not so harsh on the eyes? I get dizzy watching it! Thanks!

If you use the ? when the visualiser is playing you can get into the visualiser menus - there may be something there that you can use to alter what you are seeing.

  • I can't access the 'options' in iTunes visualizer menu

Hello everyone. Hope someone can help me with a problem re:iTunes Visualizer. I can't access the Visualizer Options no matter what I'm in, such as my music library, the Radio function, etc. I've upgraded to 10.6 & restarted iTunes and rebooted. I've also updated my Quicktime but I still see the 'Options' grayed out. The path I use is: View>Visualizer>Options. I've previously had no trouble running the Visualzer and selecting the Options till I upgraded to 10.6 Now, 'Options' is always dimmed. I've tried switching between the new Visualizer and the Classic, but no luck either way. Can someone tell me how to enable the Options? Thanks.

    i get a unknown error 11222.

  • THE TOOLS MENU NO LONGER SHOWS "OPTIONS" AFTER I UPGRADED TO FIREFOX 5

When I click on the Tools menu, the drop down menu has blanks after "Web Search", "Set Up Sync", and "Page Info". "Options" used to be in one of those spots, and Options no longer shows. I am running a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X Version 10.6.8. I'm running Firefox 5 and the "About Firefox" menu item says that my version is up to date.

On Mac, you should find the options under
    Firefox > Preferences

  • What is "Open GL" in the iTunes 7.0.2 Visualizer?

What is "Open GL" in the iTunes Visualizer?
what in blazes is "GL"? do those initials actually stand for anything?
what does GL do (or not do)?
(as opposed to, say, "Closed GL"?
    and btw,
what do ANY of those visualizer options mean &/or do?
"Cap frame rate at 30fps"? well, o.k., but how does that effect the quality of the image Visualizer displays.
There doesn't seem to be any documentation on the Visualizer options ANYPLACE in Apple Support -- except for some cryptic allusion to some plug-ins I have never seen.
What's the deal on the plug-ins? cool/not cool? woth messing with?
    thanks

    Hi teknozen
    Welcome to Discussions.
Open GL stands for Open Graphics Language, it is a platform independent standard for 3D graphics. An analogy would be .jpeg images. These files can be viewed on Windows or Macs, whereas .bmp is windows only.
So Open GL in iTunes allows third party developed iTunes visualizations to run. If you don't have any of these, it won't matter if it is selected or not.
Cap frame rate at 30 fps, means 30 frames per second. This is the speed of the Visualiser 'video'. There is no need to go faster than this because the human eye will not see any difference in motion faster than 25 to 30 frames per second anyway. So supposing you have a superfast mega processor that can pump out data at higher rates than 30 fps, visually you will not see any difference, so capped at 30 fps saves wasting CPU power cycles regardless of how powerful your computer's CPU is.
Plug ins for iTunes visualizer are different visuals other people create to display in the Visualzer, and then you may need to engage the Open GL.
This information is not contained in the Help documentation because it is technical background information, and Help documentations are more focused on how to do things then explain theory and background knowledge.
I hope that answers a few questions.

  • Does the Clone repair tool have an Aligned option like PhotoShop?

PhotoShop's clone stamp has an option that is called "Aligned" under CS3 (not sure of its name in prior versions.) When clicked, there is a fixed spatial relationship between the source and destination pixels, even if you complete one clone operation, move the cursor, and click again for another one. SO for instance you can fix numerous places in a photo by always grabbing pixels "down and to the right a bit", only needing to reset your source pixels when you get to an area of the picture where that relationship won't work well.
When it is not clicked, then the clone stamp always goes back to the same spot you option-clicked on originally. It's like each clone stamp operation is "dipping into the well of good pixels" where you told it to, until you reset the source area again.
Both of these modes are useful at different times. As near as I can tell, Aperture clone option on the repair tool only works like the second one, but I sure miss having the Aligned option too. Is there some way to get that effect in Aperture that I'm just not seeing?
    Thanks,
    Duncan

There is no such feature in InDesign.
You can file a feature request here so the product managers can see it:
