This is great. I'm constantly telling people that Spotify is the best $10 I spend a month!!
Haha, yes. I relate. My teacher listens to her iTunes radio, but it is ridden with ads now. I told her about Spotify, and I pay for "no ads," plus an unilimited access to music. It's so much better than any iTunes or online radio that I know. I hesitated to tell her how much I pay: $5/month (I'm a poor college student, that's a LOT for me! Haha). She said, "that's all?!" She knew Spotify when it was still only in the UK. Well, it's change a lot since then - and for the better.
I enjoy telling people that it's only $5/month for unlimited access with ZERO ADVERTISEMENTS, and I listen to music via Spotify at work, school and home. Of course, it's $10/month for the extra-extra features, like carrying Spotify with you on an MP3 player, etc. But I am very happy with $5/month for the service I use! And always new music added!!
Anyway, I'll stop rambling. :)  Thanks for the great service, Spotify team!! I am speaking, of course, of the software AND the friendly and helpful community!

  • Running STAR program in Date Effective mode

    Hi All,
How the date effective mode of Synchronize Territory Assignment rule concurrent will work? Will it sync all the active territories in that date range? For example if I run the STAR program from 01-Mar-2010 to 31-Mar-2010, will it sync all the territories which are all active in this date range? Will it pick up the territory which has start date as 01-Feb-2010 and end date as 30-Apr-2010?
    Please advice..
    Thanks,
    Suresh.

The only emulator for running Classic apps I know of is SheepShaver, and from what I've read (though not confirmed) it doesn't work under Snow Leopard (not surprising; SheepShaver hasn't been update in over three years, from what I can see). It also requires the ROM image from an older Mac, and if someone had access to an older Mac to get the image, they could just run the app on that older Mac.
So I think that the ability to run Classic apps is now completely dead as of Snow Leopard.

  • Internal Communication Error at Program start.

    Hi experts,
We are using the FM 'SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE' to execute the external command. Some times the program got canceled  and error is 'Internal communication error at program start (see system log)'. But when rerun the same program it get executed successfully. Does anybody have the idea why this is happening.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Abhishek.

    Hi Abhishek,
I recommend to look for the error codes contained in the syslog and for their meaning. Maybe the following SAP Notes might be helpful for you:

  • Communication between java programs

    Hello,
what's the best way of letting 2 programs "communicate" with each other in java ?
    Thanx,
    Pieter.

Well that depends on the type of communication you have in mind.
If you are thinking of a chat type of scenario then Sockets are going to be the easiest.
Btw, I forgot one option, the Java Shared Data Toolkit. It is available from Sun for free (you will have to look for it). That makes inter process communication very easy.

  • About communication between C program and VI with CIN

I programmed a VI includes an UART communication CIN to communicate with a C program end. Now this two ends cannot communicate in same speed (bit/sec). If the VI is given a higher speed than the C end it can receive a correct data from the C end but has a Framing error. The C code in CIN can communicate with C program end normally. Does VI affect the UART communication setting? Analyzing the hpenomenon, the VI will slow down the CIN communication.
I will be very glad that you can give me any advice.
    Thanks in advance,
    James2001

Probably it's true that the VI slow down the CIN (the time required for exchanging data). In order to avoid different processing speed, try to implement handshaking.

  • How to get help and help others on the Spotify Community!

So I thought I would make this informal, light-hearted post about how to help other and get help on the community :)
A Community is About Mutual Relations
This means that people help you, so that you help them. You share your newly gained knowledge, so others can benefit. You get help, and then you help others by replying to their topics.
It Always Pays to be Polite
People will want to help you more if you are polite, with no swearing or hate speech. We all get annoyed from time to time, and some get annoyed more than others. We understand that the product you're paying for isn't working, but screaming, shouting and swearing about it won't help. Be polite, and help will come.
Always Pack as Much Information in as Possible
Often I am trying to help others, and there is just not enough info posted for me to help them well. This slows down the support they can get, which makes them further annoyed. To solve this issue post as much info as you possibly can:
    Any error messages
A description of what is happening
What have you tried to do to fix it
What happened when you tried to fix it
Oh, a screenshot always helps ;)
    Don't Post Personal Info
Almost every day I have to report a post for containing an email address, telephone number and sometimes even the users home address. Apart from being against the community guidelines, this is rather stupid. These forums are public, and any person, bot, stalker or alien entity can see it. So just don't post them - it would save everyone's time ;)
Payment Issue? Don't come to us ;)
Payment issues cannot be dealt with on the community, unfortunately, as we don't have access to your Spotify account or details. You should use the Support Form to contact the customer services team, and they will get back to you (eventually).
    Post in the correct section!
I am forever moving posts over to the correct sections. Please - post in the correct section to begin with. If you need help, post in the help forums, and post in the relevant help forum. You will get a quicker response if you post in the right section ;)
    Post in the Correct Thread
Most common issues already have a thread, but people don't seem to be able to see them. If you have deleted a playlist post in the deleted playlist thread!
Make Sure you Accept a Solution!
I don't really like having to accept a solution for others, as I don't know for sure whether or not it was actually the solution, but the OP of the thread doesn't do it - so who is?
    Give Kudos!
Kudos is like a pat on the back. Everyone gets a nice feeling when they gain a kudo. Please kudo regularly - they cost nothing and mean everything ;)
    I think that's it...
If I have forgotten anything don't be afraid to send me a private message about it!

Hey! Welcome to the community :)
If you have 11,000 songs in a Spotify playlist (not as local files you own) you won't be able to mark them all to be available offline, since Spotify limits each device to 3,333 offline stored tracks due to licensing restrictions.

  • Visual studio community with external program - license

Hello. I have a question about using Visual Studio Community. Are the license allows to use Visual Studio community to only write (and testing) an application/game and then building it using external program for example Eclipse or Xcode for commercial purposes?
I create for Android/IOS systems, and working in small 2 persons team.
    Sorry for my English, thanks.

Can you give me an email from Microsoft licensing specialist?
    @ Metoby,
Sorry for that I also have no email of the license memebers.
In addition, you know that this forum is to discuss the English language issue, so I provide the license call for the English support.
If you want to use other language, one idea is that you could post this issue to your local country if it also have the MSDN site.

it just has to be hardcoded
and our teacher told us to use resources such as internet forums because she wants us to study and understand the code and not just waste time struggling with it. (dont ask why she didn't just give us the code then -_-")

  • Communication with C-program

I wonder how a labview program could
    communicate with a C-program. In
particular I want to pass a variable-value to the C-program.
    Thanks for your help.

    Not much info here.
Does the C program run continuously in parallel with Labview or is it
called, does its job and then stops until the next call?
Do you have the source code?
There are so many ways this could be achieved that it's pointless discussing
it on the basis of such a vague message.

  • Vision Builder for Automated Inspection and communication to external programs

I want to use Vision Builder for Automated Inspection in my application to do the vision tasks. However, the vision task
is only a part of the total application. Like for example, the application starts by reading the input of a barcode scanner.
Based on the value of the barcode, the proper program should be loaded in Vision Builder for AI. I was thinking about
using the .NET environment to build the application and call Vision Builder for AI from out of there. Is this possible? If
    not, are there other solutions?
    Thanks!
    Bert Christiaens

    Hi Bert,
Vision Builder includes a Product Selection functionality that allows to automatically change an inspection based on the result of a step. For example, if the interface to the barcode scanner is Serial or TCP, you can use the corresponding step in Vision Builder to read the barcode, and based on the result select the appropriate inspection.
That is if you want to stay within the Vision Builder environment.
If your application is already written in .NET and you need to add Vision to it, then as mentioned in the post above, Vision Builder has a programmatic API that you can call from .NET (example located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Vision Builder AI 2011\API Examples\dotNET Examples
The API allows to programmatically load an inspection, run it and get results, close it, etc. From the information you're providing, it seems like it might be the option that is the most appropriate to your application.
    Best regards,
    Christophe

  • Re: Skype Community Volunteer Moderator Program

refund I have not been able to get skype to work for me.

    Chris-
I am preparing to create a joint venture in Mexico for the purpose of developing and managing hotels.  While I speak Spanish, the level and pace of communications I am, and will be having is a challenge.  I am communicating with architechts, builders, hotel operation personnel, etc. via conference calls.   I need to be able to more effectively communicate my thoughts, and to understand their responses.  I am spending too much time trying to think about what I'm saying, and interpreting what they are saying, and not enough on the content of the conversation.  To this end, this will be a perfect tool.  As I need it sooner than later, I am wondering if you have any release dates as of yet?  I could use this yesterday!
