Spotify for non internet enable devices

Hi, my idea is basically to look for a way to make spotify available on non internet devices, like the ipod nano por example. I would like to be able to sync my playlists on my ipod or mp3 player direclty from my computer. The new apple music app doesnt do this so I think spotify needs to be a step ahead.

You need to specify what you want to do exactly if your plan is outside those types of connectivity. Other uses can include proximity and remote speaker applications.
You might want to look over the External Accessory framework, released with 3.0.

However again.... Even though they communicate through standard BT connections, accessories need special hardware in order to process the data stream coming from the iPhone / iPod touch. Unfortunately, this may mean that any idea of communicating with generic BT devices won't work on iPhone OS 3.x.
If the devices you want to talk to are Bonjour-discoverable via WiFi, they don't need to be part of the MfI program. Does that sound like your case?
Also you may want to keep in mind that 3rd. party devs in the future may release dongles that connect via the 30-pin dock port, providing access to existing BT devices. If said devs opened their communication protocols, that might enable the goal of communicating with said devices.

From my point of view, without internet they cannot communicate with System Center advisor.
Because Microsoft Azure Operational Insights relies on data that is moved to and from the cloud, if there is no internet connection, we will encounter below error:
Internet connection could not be established. Please check your proxy settings.

Search for non-internet Apps for iPod Touch?

I have an iPod Touch, so I don't always have an internet connection when I am away from my house. I would like to specifically search for apps that don't require an internet connection to run. For example, many of the translation tools rely on Google to translate--I would like a translation app with a built-in dictionary that I can use without having internet access.
Is there a way to specify a search for only self-contained apps (don't rely on internet) when searching iTunes? Or do I need to open the description for each app to see if it relies on an internet connection?

No one answered you, but this is exactly what I am looking for too.
What I have found is that, without an internet connection, the iphone and touch products are little more than a pretty music player. I think they call it 'cloud computing'; focusing data storage and function on remote systems and just using the touch and iphone for access. That appears to be the way their development is going. It works fine when you are always near wifi, but where I work has no wifi and no cell coverage. I've found that for most work tasks, translation, secure documents, gathering data, GPS etc, the PDA or smart phone is a better fit. Those store data and applications locally on the unit itself rather than on the internet somewhere that you won't always be able to access.
With all the storage space on the touch and iphones, you'd think they could give a little of it over to onboard apps and functions, but until they do, at least there is the PDA.

Block ActiveSync for non Intune managed devices

is it possible to block Active Sync for devices, wich are not managed by Intune? (Active Sync Quarataine, wich will auto-allow MDM devices?). It would be great to take a Hand over the byod devices...

Thanks. Unfortunately 2 EAS policies will not work for me, because EAS policies are set on users/mailboxes. This would result in devices not secured by neither Intune nor EAS.
I believe this is a shortcoming in Exchange/SCCM/Intune. There should be an option where an administrator can define whether EAS or Intune policy is leading.
Do you know some place to write feedback to the Intune / SCCM development team?

Non-Supported Enabled devices

hello:
I am designing some flash lite animations that I want to use
with flash lite 2 (and 3 when I get a copy!!) The main phone I am
using to test is capable of running flash lite 2 (It is installed
and runs fine) the phone (Nokia 3250) came with Flash Lite 1.1 so
it becomes greyed out when I try to develop in flash lite 2. Is
there any way to unlock it so I can bring it up and test animations
in flash lite 2 for the device. If not is there any suggestions on
how to do this since the phone runs flash lite 2 and people can
install it i would like to develop for it. I am sure there are a
multitude of devices that will fall under this category. If you
need any more information just let me know I'm subscribing to this
topic.

If you are using Device Central CS3 to test, you could create
a new profile for the phone and set the flash lite version to 2.0.
There is a devnet article about how to edit the device central

Ideas in calling a non RFC enabled FM from another system

Hi guys,
I have a request to check the status of the background jobs in miscellaneous systems in the landscape. I'll probably use FM BP_FIND_JOBS_WITH_PROGRAM. The thing is this function is not Remote-Enabled and I need one which is. My idea was to create one RFC-enabled with more or less the same parameters, inside just calling the standard one. I'm not really convinced this is the best approach so that's why I'm asking: is there a better way to do this, any ideas?

Function module BP_FIND_JOBS_WITH_PROGRAM either does not exist or is not RFC-enabled.
No proxies for non RFC-enabled functions.

SMS. Deggie, had them check that. After a lengthy discussion with Senior Tech advisor, it appears it is iMessage/Face Time server (they are the same) issue, which will strong arm those into purchasing Data if they use iMessage over multiple devices, as the server registers the phone number associated with apple ID. i need some information, or some material or some example's for creating custom transactions that will invoke the standard good issue transaction of sap from the handled device using the RF , so can anybody give some reference which will help me in creating custom transaction for a RF enabled handled device, which will invoke the standard sap goods issue transaction( mb1a) ,, there are some LM-transaction which do goods issue from the RF enabled handled device, but in my case i want to do goods issue using reservation as my input, so can anybody guide me or send some reference material matching to my problem, i would really appreciate it..

Here are the steps.
1> Customization needs to be completed in SPRO. Logistics Execution -> Mobile Data entry section. Also compare entries with LM01 for understanding.
2> In the 'Define menu management', you can create dynamic menus. For Menu or transaction type, if you enter "1", a menu appears; if you enter "2", a transaction appears. Custom transactions can be created and assigned here.
Once that is done, when you execute LM01 you will see your custom transactions come up. Make sure that these are created keeping in mind the RF device screen size and limitations.

Maybe you are looking to re-purpose this equipment versus getting rid of it if so, the best thing to do is search the internet for tutorials. And I say this because it's what I would do, there are a lot of tutorials online. Hope you can find good use for them. Worse case scenario if you can't find something right now, package them very nicely and when you come across something unbox and enjoy. I've re-purposed a mac color classic and LOVE IT!!

Enable Garnishment Principle of Origin (EP) for NON-public sector

Hi all.
Does anyone have experience or knows a best-practice approach to enable the Principle of-Origin in the DE-Payroll garnishment section (Pfändung Entstehungsprinzip) for NON- public sector? Our payroll payroll and legal department do want to change from "Zufluss-" to "Entstehungsprinzip".
All relevant schemas do only exist in the main schema for the public sector (D100) but not in the non-public sectior (D000).

In order to resolve this issue. Please replace the below listed command
aaa authentication login admin group tacacs+ local enable
with;
aaa authentication login default group admin local enable
You defined the server group name as method list and instead of using admin as a server-group, you used tacacs+
Note: Please ensure you have local user and enable password configured in case of tacacs server unreachable.

Yes, you can use the remaining 24 ports for whatever you want to connect. It could connect to IBM chassis, other routers, switches, etc...

Try the following:
- Reset the iPOd. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iPhone and iPod touch: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
