Spotify will not update. Stuck in re-install loop

For months now I keep seeing the blue bar at the top of my desktop Spotify asking to re-install. Every time I install I am stuck on the same version: 1.0.9.133.gcedaee38. When clicking About I am prompted to install version 1.0.10.107. Each time I click it I get the re-install blue bar. Spotify then shuts down, re-installs then it asks me to update to the same version again as I am still on 1.0.9.133.gcedaee38. Even if I uninstall the app and re-download it from Spotify's website I am still on the same version. Has anyone seen this/know how to troubleshoot it? I am running Windows 8.1 Pro Thanks,Chris

Have you tryed to completely remove Spotify (including the cache folder) and then trying to re-install it (by downloading the setup from their site?) Here's a step-by-step guide which might help you further:Click File > Exit.Go to: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage (via Start - RUN) and delete the wholle spotify folder.Press Start and then go to Control Panel.Select Programs, then Programs and Features.Select Spotify in the list and click uninstall.(Open Add/Remove Programs, select Spotify, then Change/Remove if running on Windows XP)Download and install Spotify!

I5 apps will not update after 8.1 install

Unable to get any app updates to run after 8.1 iOS install. Have tried using LTE or WiFi only, Reset Network Settings, power cycled device which is an i5. Any ideas? I have also tried updating one app at a time with same results....circle with dot in middle activates, but no activity from this point on.

Did you also check if you are still logged in with the correct Apple ID in Settings/iTunes and AppStore/AppleID?

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Yeah me too try going through the apple website in (firefox) and download iTunes there. Currently that's what I'm doing.

I deactivated my CS5, reformatted HD and installed Win 8.1, installed CS5 again, but now it will not update it.

I have made sure they are all running as Admin. I even changed compatibility mode to Win 7 on Photoshop and Dreamweaver which is what I was running before with no issues, Customer Support cannot help. Help?

I have tried both ways and get the same error. When I contacted customer service, they asked if I was trying to install CS6 updates but the error show CS5.It will not update it. It downloads it, then says that there is an error.

restore your app from the trash and then properly uninstall.
if that fails, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

It looks like you may have to reinstall itunes.
There are multiple things you should uninstall (and in a certain order) according to apple.
Also, even thought your music and itunes library information should not be affected in the uninstall, I would strongly recomend backing it up. Go to where you keep your music files and make sure you back up everything in the folders "itunes" and "itunes music".
The directions for the reinstall are here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 They include what to uninstall and in what order. This is for itunes 9 and earlier, but I think it is the same for itunes 10.

That is correct. ios 4.2.1 is the latest available for your iphone.

Try a reset:
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds
2. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)

Updated to IOS6 and now my apps will not update on the Ipad2. I have to delete them and then re-install. But I have several hundred apps and this is cumbersome. Seems the new software is too buggy. I am telling people not to update software yet.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
