Spotify, Windows 8.1 - Suddenly no sound and spotify is not useable.

So I just recently reinstalled Windows 8.1 on my computer, because I had some problems with it. Everything works fine now, except Spotify. I didn't use to have any problems with it and it played tracks and albums smooth.
Now suddenly when I installed it again after the reinstallment of Windows 8.1 problems occured. Whenever Spotify have been playing like 2-3 songs it suddenly disable the sound and the song stops halfway through. I can switch around songs, but there is not happening anything, there is not even coming any timestamps whatsoever. If I close Spotify and re-open it, I can play songs again, but the problem still occurs later.
I've been following some solutions on the internet and tried following.
1. Clean re-installation, not helping.
2. Control the Volume Mixer (Mute/Unmute) not helping.
3. Check for driver update for my soundcard, not helping.
4. Check firewall, if it's blocking Spotify, not helping.
So I don't know if there is any solutions left. All my other programs are working fine, it's only Spotify being a little annoying :-(
PS. I've uploaded a picture to show how it looks like when I'm trying to change songs after the problem occured.

I am having hte same issue. I just purchased the 3months subscriptions for $0.99 cents. Patiently waiting on a solution. Works on my phone just not my windows 8.1

Sound and picture did not match?

After recording the presentation it was OK and I could show it. But the fourth time I would show the presentation the sound and animation did not match the pictures? t.i. Keynote did not move to next picture (e.g. I was in picture No. 3 and it shoud move to next picture 4 but it doesn't - and the voice to the next picture No. 4 started continued in picture 3)
Why does this happened? Is Keynote not reliable?

If sound files and images are placed on the slide and timed using Inspector > Builds they will maintain the timing.
I have suggested to do that instead of using the recording feature built in to Keynote which has proven to be unreliable with large numbers of slides and longer voice overs.
Switching to using builds will eliminate these errors.

HT1551 sound and picture do not match

Certain movies on Netflix, when played, the sound and picture do not match. It looks like a voice over. You see lips move to the wrong voice.

Very recently when typing an email in Firefox, if I make a typo and try to backspace to correct, I get a sound and it will not backspace.

I am on MacBook running on OSX 10.6.8. When I'm typing an email, if I make a typo and try to delete it or backspace, all I get is a computer sound and it will not allow me to do anything. I have to close that page and start over completely. It will not do it every time but does it frequently. I don't know what triggers it and how to make it stop.

If you are printing to physical printer from Safari : Use Reader print button from Reader toolbar
If you want to save a PDF from Safari to your local : Use Reader Save button from the Reader toolbar.
PS: if you have PDF in read mode the hover the mouse at the bottom of the page and the floating Reader toolbar will appear.

Suddenly no sound (and can't play)

I recently started working in iMovie for the first time, and have had success in creating several movies - one, mainly a montage of photos with an audio track imported from an mp3. Today, for some reason I opened iMovie to start a new project, and am having the following issues:
when I play from the "event" field down below (where all imported clips show up), it has no sound. When I play from the editing field, I get no sound AND no video (though it appears to be playing).
The only project I can get sound on is the montage with photos where I added the audio separately.
did I do something to the settings somewhere to disable the audio? Why can't I see video of my work-in-progress??

Labview 8.6 sound and measurement suite not installed properly under Vista 32 or 64 bit

I apologize if this isn't the correct place for this post but I'm in need of a solution. I recently purchased LabVIEW 8.6 Developer Suite with the Sound and Measurement Suite to create a NVH testing program at my company. I'm a newbe at Labview but I've been a programmer/computer hardware geek since the days of the TRS-80 model1. Here's my problem. I installed the package from the developers suite DVD's on my Windows XP professional desktop and everything is fine. I see the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite listed under LabVIEW 8.6 in Measurement & Automation Explorer and the toolkit examples work in LabVIEW. When the laptop I purchased to do my actual work arrived with has Vista Business Edition 32 bit version installed I found the following problem. On that machine and two other Vista machines(one 64 bit and one 32 bit) that I tried, the installation doesn't register the Souind and Vibration Suite under LabVIEW 8.6 and they show the Sound and Vibration toolkit as not installed in the examples section. In the Windows control panel under National Instruments, all 4 machines show the Sound and Vibration Suite 6.0 as installed. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall, modify, from the control panel, and reinstall from the DVD's with no change in the outcome. I really need to get the laptop working as this is my actual development and test machine. Installing XP is not an option as the machine is newly purchased with a high end sound system and XP downgrade wasn't available. I'm out of ideas.

I wanted to let close this as I got it working finally. This time I un-installed the Sound and Vibration entries from the LabVIEW control in Vista's uninstaller. Then re-installed and now it works. Before there were three entries, one for the suite, one for the runtime, and one for the toolkit. After removing all three and re-installing from the DVD, only the suite shows up, and all seems to be good.

After updating to Windows 8.1 from windows 8 games like pes 2014 and others are not functioning properly

Recently my system got update from MS now its running on Windows 8.1. After updating my games are not working properly
the games were running at very low FPS even key event and mouse event are lately taken. Even i updated drivers still its not working.
In windows 8 all games were running very smoothly. Only after updating i am seeing this issue.VRA
PC configurations :
1) OS : Windows 8.1
2) RAM : 4gb
3) Processor : core i3
4) VRAM : 2gb
5)VCARD : AMD radeom
Please help i am missing my games

No sound and meters do not move with the new Motu Traveler

I recorded four channel of audio with the built in sound on my power book G4 1.6 until I got a Motu Traveler fire wire audio interface. I got to preference/Audio in Logic and switch to Motu. Then when I play the song, there is no sound and the channel meters do not move. I have Logic Pro 7 version 1.0.1. I updated the OSX Tiger to 10.4.2 and the Motu fire wire to 1.2.5.2.
I can here audio throe head phones on the Motu if I plug a mic in to it but it will not show up in Logic.
Yes the fire wire cable is connected. It reacts to logic start up (click,click etc,.)
What am I doing wrong.
I'm an ex Cubase user whom switched to Logic and thought it would be easy.

I dont use logic but I have had some similar audio routing issues with my mac and my traveler. if you can hear audio out your phones see if the default stereo output for the traveler is set to phones, that could cause this problem. click on the motu fire wire icon (not the cue mix dsp) and make sure you default outs are set to whatever you have speakers plugged in, also go into your audio midi set up for OSX and make sure every thing is for the traveler to be the default output. you might have to re-launch logic to make it see the changes, not sure though i dont use it.

FCP X 10.0.6 -- Preview in "Sound and Music" tab not working

All my folders (like Final Cut Pro Sound Effects and iLife Sound Effects and so on) show up correctly in the "Sound and Music" section, but I can't preview the files inside any more - neither by hitting the space bar nor by pushing the Play button in the lower left corner. Sounds play correctly, though, when I drag them to the timeline or to the browser.
Deleted all preferences (PrefsManager by Digital Rebellion), deleted all QuickLook preferences and did all the usual maintanance routines - to no avail.
Anything else I could try? (MBP Retina, ML 10.8.2)

Ich hab den PrefsManager von Digital Rebellion schon länger. Das war das erste was ich probiert habe.
Die Prefs hab ich nun bereits mehrfach gelöscht. Auch von Hand FCPX deinstalliert, nach Anleitung von Apple:
Final Cut Pro X entfernen
Befolgen Sie die unten beschriebenen Schritte für die von Ihnen verwendete Version von Mac OS X.
OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Wählen Sie im Finder im Menü "Gehe zu" die Option "Programme".
Suchen Sie das Programm Final Cut Pro und ziehen Sie es in den Papierkorb.
Halten Sie im Finder die Wahltaste gedrückt und wählen Sie im Menü "Gehe zu" die Option "Library".
Öffnen Sie im Ordner "Library", der sich nun öffnet, den Ordner "Application Support". Bewegen Sie den Ordner "Final Cut Pro" und den Ordner "Apple Qmaster" in den Papierkorb.
Kehren Sie zum Ordner "Library" zurück und öffnen Sie den Ordner "Caches". Ziehen Sie den Ordner "com.apple.FinalCut" in den Papierkorb.
Kehren Sie zum Ordner "Library" zurück und öffnen Sie den Ordner "Preferences". Bewegen Sie die folgenden Dateien in den Papierkorb:

FCPX hab ich nun bereits 2x deinstalliert und wieder installiert. Die Mac OSX 10.8.2 Kombi installiert und die HD Permissons über Festplatten Manager reparieren lassen.Die Quicklook Prefs auch gelöscht.
Langsam weiss ich nicht weiter, trotzdem danke für deine Hilfe.
PS: Hat denn kein Apple Operator der sich mit der Materie auskennt eine Idee.
