Spotlight Search: Looking for eg. "disc utility" in German 10.7 installation does not work?

I've been using German version of OS-X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 before on my Mac. Within this versions it was alway possible to do search (spotlight and other) on the english names of apps and settings. E.g. entering "Disc Utility" brought up "Festplatten Dienstprogramm" in Spotlight. This is not working anymore in 10.7 - or is there a solution?

Does your Mini have a built-in Optical (CD/DVD) drive? Are you using a USB2 device for you USB installer?

What system and iPhoto version are you running?
If your're using iPhoto 9 or later Command (right) - click on the photo in the search window and select Show Event in the Contextual menu.
That will take you to the event where the photo is.

I don't know how you would feel about the quality, because I have never actually used one, but there is usualy a free 7 day trial of Video Blocks and they have 100 virtual sets available. You can download as many as 20 per day with the trial. So you have enough time in a week to get them all. But don't forget to check out the music section for your news intro. And some lower thirds.

On adobe.com it shows that the serial number I received is associated with adobe photoshop elements 9 and premiere elements 9. I have purchased those products in the past, but just recently upgraded to elements 12. I can use the the photoshop organizer, but can't open the photoshop editor.

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Help with util.zip up files... does not work

I am writing a program so my mum can zip up new photos she takes and then send them to me. The program creates a html file for the webpage plus a smaller version of her original photo and places them all in a 1 folder with a new name. Al this part works... I want to afterwards place my files in a zipped up folder that she can e-mail me with her normal client. How... I picked up this code on the net and have changed it to incoporate my parameters. The files which are created ..paths are (String in an String[]) I then send to my zipping method.
The zip file is created but does not work when I try to extract from it ??? I also know that the String [] works becuse I have made a loop to check its properties at each index.
what am I doing wrong?

Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for testing, and if it is defective and under warranty they will replace. Since you say iPhone 4, was this a used or refurbished iPhone?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Looking for previous post!! Windows update causing flash to not work?

A few days ago i finally fixed my problem where some automatic updates from windows caused flash to not work on some videos. I uninstalled these updates, but can't find the question/answer that helped me with my solution. It had to do with uninstalling 2 windows updates, KBsomething... can anyone direct me to that post??

Second user account cannot load music to iTunes. I've confirmed permission for Itunes folders on ALL accounts and this still does not work! Any other suggestions?

I'm opened every iTunes Media folder found on this Mac to Everyone for R&W access and still get this message of 'you don't have write access for you iTunes Media folder......' This is extremely frustrating!

Babylon Search Engine overrides Home Page and New Tabs - About: Config Reset does not work

Tried new tab homepage addon as well.
Tried uninstalling Babylonobject installer with Revo Uninstaller forced uninstal.
Tried reinstalling firefox.
Setting Homepage to Show a Blank Page works for the startup but means I cannot have a homepage setup.
Firefox detects something trying to change the homepage on start up but does nothing about preventing Babylon even if the change is denied.

It sounds like you have a Third-Party Toolbar that has taken over your Search Engine, Home Page, and/or the Default New Tab Page. Fortunately this can be remedied easily:
# At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
# In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions panel.
# Select the toolbar you wish to remove.
# Click the Remove button.
# Click Restart now if it pops up. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.
After Firefox restarts, install the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool]. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program from your Firefox.
For further information, please read [[Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page]].

Activation number after installing LR 5 from a disc following Lightroom 5 CC trial period does not work

I installed Lightroom on the Creative Cloud, trial version, then I was offered LR 5 disc. I thus installed it and entered the serial number but it doesn't work now that the trial version is over on CC. I don't understand... Can anybody help me with that?

Disk utility - Verify and repair disk permission does not work

On my dual i'm trying to make a verify and than a rpair disk permission but the bar stop after a while and will never finish (even if the estimaed time is less than one minute).
Ideas?
