Spreadsheet and ALV

Hi Gurus,
I need your help on this very badly.
I have a ALV grid report.
After exicuting i am downloading it to the excel file.
using following steps.
export -- spreadsheet --- name of the file and saving it.
the problem is row and collum appear fine in alv out but on down loading it to exel , some of the header field move to 2nd row.
for example
>pernr name lastname
> begin date enddate.
this should be
>pernr name lastname begindate enddate.

Hi,
There is a limit in number of characters that can be downloaded into excel from ALV. If very few columns are coming in second row, try adjusting the names of the columns.... It definitely will come in same row.

You have a couple of options. If you use 100% View Zoom, and if you leave a cell selected in the bottom row of the table when you Save and Close the document, it will reopen with that cell in view.
You could also sort your table in the opposite order and add new rows at the top. Then you wouldn't have to worry about what zoom you use. To insert a row at the top, select a cell in the current top row and press Option-UpArrow. That will add a new blank Top Body Row.

Abap objects and alv

using abap objects and alv There should be push button (Switch drill down button) at the top of the report. While pressing Switch drill down button it should display a popup window like
material
material gorup
plant
For example if a material group is selected, the report should be displayed with respect to material group.
For example if it is Plant, the report should be displayed with respect to Plant.
Standard Drill down should be first with respect to material it should be displayedafter clicking it with respect to vendor it should be displayedafter that w.r.t month.
There should be push button ( topno button) at the top of the report.
you have to choose a key figure field and press topno.if PO value is chosen and if you press topno and give value as 3,the top three po value should be displayed.
Totals for Po value, order quantity and GR quantity should be displayed..
please, can anybody send me the code for above criteria immediatly.

Nothing changes for HR ABAP when it comes to ALV or Interactive Lists. Only the DATA fetching process is changed. To fetch HR data , you use Logical Database PNP or Clusters or just read a specific infotype using a method.
Here is a sample program for ALV 'BALVST02_GRID'. For interactive list , use this demo program
DEMO_LIST_INTERACTIVE_1. It is a series of Demo Programs which you can open in SE38.

Numbers 3.x can only open Numbers '09 and later. You will need Numbers '09 to open Numbers '08 files.
If it is a single file (or only a few) you can email me and I will open and convert then email back. My email address is in the "Biography" of my profile.
You may have Numbers '09 installed. Look in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09" if Numbers is in that folder launch it, open the file you tried to open, and save. Then you should be able to open in Numbers 3.x

Insert a spreadsheet and word docs into a PDF with hyperlinks

I have a spreadsheet index with hyperlinks to 455 single page word docs. I want to make a single pdf by inserting the spreadsheet followed by the word docs.
Is there a way of having the hyperlinks recognize the inserted word docs pages inside the pdf via the original hyperlinks, or do I need to remove the hyperlinks before inserting the spreadsheet and then do bookmarks for all 455 pages? Or some other method?

I doubt that will work. But it should be easy enough to find out. If you
print to pdf from ID, I guarantee is will not work. If you export from
ID, I doubt it will work, but ask in the ID forum, since the creation
does not depend upon Acrobat.

Read integer values from spreadsheet and display the values in a table

Hi all,
I have integer values to read from a spreadsheet and display them in a table. I am using 'Read from spreadsheet file' in 'integer' mode. I would like to display these values in a table. The problem is that the table takes only 2d-array of string as input but not integer.
It works fine if I change the mode of 'Read from spreadsheet file' from 'integer' to 'string' but I want to read integers and have to use the integer values for further calculations. Please give any suggestions on displaying integers to a table.

After creating your table, Tap the Tab marked "+" and select "Form" - you will be asked which table to use. (You should get into the habit of naming your tables - if the table name isn't visible, select the table and tap the Styles (Brush) Menu > Table > Turn ON table Name, then double tap on the Table to edit it.)
Select the table you wish to to fill with a form and you will see a new form based on the header data.
The form will allow you to add one row at a time and when you get to the last row, there is an option at the bottom of the form to add a new row using the "+" button. At the top of the form is the row header which you can rename by double tapping.
You can also rename the form on the Tab by double tapping on the name.
Try it out.

How can I add content from a different spreadsheet and thus create a reference between then?

I am starting to use Numbers 3.5 in a MacBook Pro Late 2011.
I am trying to find a way to create a reference between spreadsheets.
For instance, I have a spreadsheet for each year to control things at home.
While creating a 2015 version, I can't find a way to make formulas using values from 2014 spreadsheet and make then referenced.
Does anyone know if it is possible and how can I do that?
An observation: using excel I can do that with

I suppose you could cut and paste formula results to a tab in our new spreadsheet document if the vlues you want are contained there. There are some people who have written scripts to import data from different docs. But no, Numbers does not support links between docs.

Select-options and ALV

Hi all,
I have create a select-options with 5 fields and alv and a button(get list) in webdynpro, i have to retrieve the values into alv from table through select-options by clicking on button.
and i have written a function module for select options. so based on input, the values are fetched from table in function module.
i am getting confused with the coding part, so can anybody tel me the coding part for alv by calling function module nd how to pass the values to function module(i,e select-option fields.)

I hope you have declared the component usage for select option properly.
Now do as follows:-
1. Add 2 attributes in the tab 'Attribute' to implement select option for a particular field.
Like i want to implement select option in PO_NO ( EKPO-EBELN) & ITEM_NO( EKPO-EBELP).
Declare usage in properties in particular view:-
Declare attributes :- M_HANDLER_Report           - Type ref to - IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS
                       M_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS_Report - Type ref to - IWCI_WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS
In WDDOINIT :-
create instantiate component usage from code wizard.
then set normal properties for display:-
WD_THIS->M_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS_REPORT = WD_THIS->WD_CPIFC_SELECT_OPTION_REPORT( ).
init the select screen

Select -options (fields as mandatory) and alv

Hi all,
i have 5 fields in select options and alv table , based on selection criteria values will display in alv table. now i want to make 2 fields as mandatory in select-options. without entering values in those two fields it should not allow the values to display iin alv table , it should rise a message..
(i have not created node for select-options ,i have directly used data type in wddoinit for select-options and for alv table i have created node)

Hi,
In wddoinit while creating select options by ADD_SELECTION_FIELD method ,it has a parameter called I_OBLIGATORY. Set it as X and thus the field becomes mandatory.

Number of Classical , Interactive and ALV reports in Project.

Hi,
I am new to ABAP.
Can anybody please tell me how many Classical , Interactive and ALV reports will be there in a approximate one year span of project ? and how many input parameters ( Select-options) will be there in a report. if you send the some sample input parameters in a report how it looks in real time will help me to practice and for the interviews.
