Spreadsheet component shrinks to size of a Dice

Hello,
I have a dynamic dashboard using spread sheet component. During the run time I have seen the spreadsheet component shrinks to a very small size, I could say it shrinks to size of a dice and this issue is very intermittent.
FYI: I am having the option ignore blanks at the end of the range enabled for both columns and rows.
Has anyone seen issue like this?

I have the spreadsheet component placed on top of panel container, I have dynamic visibilty for both panel container and spreadsheet component, I see that there are issues with DV(dynamic visibilty) where the components placed in the panel containers are not inherting the DV from the panel container. my spreedsheet component was binded to cell range where the bottom rows have excel formula, originally I had ignore blanks at the end of row enabled, once I disabled that It started working without any issues.

Can I shrink the size of a form text box based on the content?

We are helping a customer migrate from some MS Word forms to use pdf forms. We are screenscraping the data from an AS400 green screen system and populating these new pdf forms with data. however some of the text boxes are in the middle of a sentence and the text box needs to be large enough to fit 50 characters but there are many times when the data we are entering is much less than 50. The resulting document looks very strange with all of that extra white space in the middle of a sentence due to the size of the text box.
So can we somehow shrink the size of the text box to fit the number of characters in the box?
I considered making the box smaller and setting the font size to auto but I think that would look even more strange to have a word with smaller font in the middle of a sentence.

Sorry, I should have mentioned I am using acrobat professional 9. I see that I can change the size of the text field when I am designing the form but what I don't see is how to dynamically change the size of the text field based on what data is put inside it.

By mistake, I shrink the size of a particular page, which firefox then remembers. How do I get the size back to normal?

When moving around on websites, somehow I manage to shrink the size of what is shown on the screen. I have not figured out how to get the size back to 'normal'. However, Firefox remembers this so when I reenter this particular size, it will still be in the smaller format. Very frustrating and as this has happened for at least two of my most watched sites, I am more and more using competing formats, e.g. Explorer.
I have alsl asked more experienced users of Internet to try to solve this but they are as lost as I am.
Looking forward to getting your advice.

I need to shrink the size of my 5gb fcp x movie so I can upload it to a specific site. If I buy this compressor will it be able to do that?

The file is currently just over 5gb and the site where the video needs to be uploaded will not take anything over 5gb. Is this the type of program I need to shrink the size of my project or should I use/do something else?

After I hit submit a sub box pops up with:
Name: name of my video
Cluter: Options or none or other
Priority: High
It then gives me an option to cancel, but the submit button on this box is greyed out.

Spreadsheet component - bottom grid line not displaying in swf file

Hi,
I'm having an issue with the spreadsheet component. I'm using the "Ignore blank cells in Values" option on the behavior tab. This works fine. The problem I'm having is the bottom grid line in the spreadsheet table is not displaying in the swf file. The bottom grid line displays correctly in Preview mode....but is not displaying in the swf file. Anyone have any ideas on why?

I noticed that the spreadsheet component grid lines display correctly in the swf when not checking the ignore blank cells option in the behavior tab.
So what would be our options here.....either uncheck the display grid lines for the spreadsheet component to not display the grid lines at all, or do not use the ignore blank cells option in the behavior tab to display a fixed number of rows each time?

When you email from iPhoto, you have a choice as to the size of the picture - choose medium and your friends will be able to see them. By the way, do your friends click on the photo attachment in the mail to open it?

SQL Spreadsheet Component problems

We've encountered some strange behavior while using the SQL Spreadsheet Component within a report:a) Most of the time the SQL-GENERATOR does not generate any SQL. The SQL written by us works fine, but is not accepted by the SQL-Generator e.g. entering first an SQL command and than pressing the SQL-Generator button will raise an Error invalid SQL statement, but the statement as such is correct and returns the values.b) We are not able to create an SQL-Kombinationsfeld (German name for the Drop-Down List). We are able to select the Datasource, the SQL table we previously defined, but than an error is raised 'Keine verfügbare Spalten' = 'No available columns'Had anyone of you encountered similar problems and especially was able to solve them? To shrink the size of TEMP tablespace

There is a databse with RAC, now in OEM the size of TEMP tablespace has been reached at 99.9%. now we want to shrink the size of TEMP tablespace.
how to we do that???????

Temporary tablespaces usually show they are full, however this space is not actually in use. It is rather allocated. Oracle has evaluated the best way to obtain the most of performance, and he said it is better to allocate once than allocate-deallocate-reallocate extents, so temporary space is not 'released'.
If you want to feel psychologically more confortable with lower allocated space, you can drop your tablespace (create an interim default temporary tablespace first) and recreate it.
You can also rebuild temporary datafiles:
alter tablespace temp add tempfile 'C:\ORACLE\ORACLEXE\ORADATA\XE\TEMP01.dbf' size 32m;
SQL> select name from v$tempfile;
NAME
C:\ORACLE\ORACLEXE\ORADATA\XE\TEMP.DBF
C:\ORACLE\ORACLEXE\ORADATA\XE\TEMP01.DBF

How to shrink the size of JRE?

I wrote a simple Java utlity that performs some business logic for my clients. It is going to run on Windows environments. I created a .exe for this Java application. Obviously It also needs JRE. I made sure that JRE is also shipped along with this application. But the size of JRE is around 70 MB. Is there anyway to shrink the size of JRE? What is best practice for such a thing?

I'm not sure what the licensing implications are of customizing your own derivative of Sun's JRE, presuming that's the one you're using. If the agreement permits, you could remove classes you know that you won't use from the runtime JAR.
Your best bet, though, sounds like using a Java-to-native compiler. There are a number of applications out there that could produce a Windows executable from your Java code and, since you know it's only going to be run on Windows machines, you lose very little if anything by going through this process.

Spreadsheet Component issues

I have dashboard using spreadsheet component placed on top of panel contianer. I am using spreadsheet component just to display the data, not used as a selector. During the run time I am seeing that values in the spreadsheet component lay one over each other when I do the scrolling on the panel container. I have also seen some values in the top row and first column disappear but when click on the cell they apprear back. These issues are intermittent does not happen always
Has anyone sees issues like this.

Homestly haven't a clue what's going on there.
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

It would seem that I have come across a limitation in the CAP file format for Java Card 2.2.1. When I run the Sun 2.2.1 converter I get the following output:

conversion completed with 1 errors and 0 warnings.This also happens with JCDK 2.2.2. Is there any way around this limitation? I can instruct the compiler to not generate some of the debug output such as variable attributes, but this makes the debugger less than useful. I could not find anything in the JCVM spec for JC2.2.1 that mentions this limitation (I could have missed it very easily if it is there). Is this a limitation that will be lifted in new versions of the standard? This is tarting to be a bit of a problem as our code base has outgrown our development tools (no more debugger). Compiling and running without debug information works fine.
Any information on this would be much appreciated.

For those that are interested, I found this in the Java Card VM spec. u1 and u2 are 1 and 2 byte unsigned values respectively. It would appear that it is a limitation of the CAP file format. We have managed to work around this problem (parsing the debug component of the cap file was very informative) by shortening package names, reducing exception handling, and removing classes that we could do without.
It looks like this is removed for JC3.0 Connected Edition does not have this issue as it does not have CAP files, but JC2.2.2 and JC3.0 Classic Edition have this same issue. It would be nice if there was a converter/debugger combination that removed this limitation. If anyone knows of such a combination, I am all ears! I know for a fact that JCOP does not :(

Format SD card - will it shrink in size like windows format?

I need to transfer 2 x .mov files to a 32GB SD card for a friend. I need to format as a journaled drive.
The last time I formatted an SD was several years ago on a PC and the 2GB card shrunk to 1GB no matter how I tried to reformat
again using PC and a Digital Camera.
If I format the card, will it shrink in size.

A multi reader that new should have no trouble allowing you to format the full size of whatever card you put in it. You should lose very little space.
As far as formatting, it depends on what you're using it for. Mac OS Extended of course for use in OS X. If you're sharing between Snow Leopard and Windows 7, Vista or XP, exFAT is the best choice. Both systems can read and write this format without any extra software. Other than for XP users, who would need to download the exFAT extension from Microsoft's web site.
Also be aware that any version of OS X before Snow Leopard cannot access exFAT.
