Spreadsheet Seems to Disappear

I only use numbers for a tracking spreadsheet and this is the second occurrence of my data seeming to disappear. It seems to happen when I accidentally click on Numbers and do a swipe gesture to get out of the program. The next time I go in I can see the spreadsheet thumbnail that seems to still have data populated, but when I bring it up it only has a blank 9x4 grid. Exiting out and totally restarting the program does no good. If my eyes were fantastic or I had a magnifying glass handy, I could reconstruct the spreadsheet from the thumbnail, but that is not practical more than once.
What am I likely doing to cause this and is there a recovery? Undo seems to have no effect and the grid cells do not appear to be able to accept formulas. I am not using Cloud.

Noted revision: the cells will accept formulas but I'm afraid to do anything lest it overwrite my data.
I also know that most of my data is still there (except the most recent change) because I can email the spreadsheet to myself and open it in excel. I may not be using this program if I can't figure this out.

Lately I've been importing photos from my iPhone to iPhoto and when I attempt to edit them they seem to disappear. Some reappper as a photo stream pic (some as the edited version and some not). I'm not happy with disappearing photos especially after I've deleted them from my iphone after importing them to my macbook.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

I have the same problem. Thankfully one which was missing came back. I printed it out and made a PDF of it since it was an important one I'd been looking for.
I have three icloud email accounts which folders for each one. Now they mostly come up in my inbox instead of the correct folder and they won't move to the correct one.
Come on Apple, fix this.

He said that maybe it is Flash Player that runs in the background and avoid the computer to shutdown. I uninstalled Flash Player and the problem was fixed. Now I can’t watch any YouTube videos. Is there something else I can do to use Flash Player again to avoid the shutdown problem?

Does it happen all the time? Sometimes restarting the ipad will resolve it. How are your notes being saved? check the account and see if they are there.

Some emails I receive on my ipad seem to disappear when I want to look at them again. Also I forwarded an email to several people with attachment. WhenI went back into the email to print off the attachment it wasn't there.

Solid State Drive Occasionally Seems to Disappear, Fine After Reboot

Hi everyone.
I'm running Arch 64 on an Acer Timeline 3810T, with an 80 GB SSD and ext4. A few times recently, it's like the drive suddenly disappears, and I'm down to ram. Resources fail to be found, icons turn to crap, and all unopened programs ranging from Firefox to ls are nowhere to be found. I can manage to bring up Gnome's shutdown dialog, but the letters are all boxes, and shutdown hangs after complaining about ext4, among other things. After a hard reboot, things seem ok.
fsck doesn't report any problems. What could this mean? I don't even know if this is a hardware or a software problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This still happens without running powertop, so that's out. Last time it happened I found reports like this in tty1:
EXT4-fs error (device sda1): ext4_find_entry: reading directory #24588 offset 0
and then:
INIT: Cannot execute "/sbin/agetty"
INIT: Id "c1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
What could cause the filesystem to lose everything like this, only to find it again on reboot?

When I mail merge a message that incudes a table with an excel spreadsheet, the table disappears and the data appears in list form

I've tried both creating the table using Thunderbird, as well as creating the table in Word first and the problem is the same. I've reinstalled and updated both the mail merge add on and Thunderbird.

If you do not need all the excel specific items you can just write it to a spreadsheet using the write to spreadsheet file vi's.
If you want to go the excel route you will have to use active x. you can see a lot of examples on the excel board under the breakpoint forum. please post a sample of how you want your data to look and I can maybe help explain what options you have. and also oyu do not necesarily need the report generation toolkit.

WBS element seems to disappear

Hi all.
Have you experienced, that when you go from Display to Change in Process Purchase Orders in SRM, parts of the account assignments disappear? I want to change the WBS element in my PO, because it cannot be transfered to the R/3 as it is right now - therefore it is in Error in Process. And when I enter the PO in Display mode, the WBS element is visible, but when switching to Change this disappears? How can I change this?

SRM 4.0, server 5.0 - R/3 is 4.6C.
I also found the notes you mention myself before entering this message here in the forum, and these are not relevant to me - they all have something to do with the shopping cart.
My issue only persists in SRM. In the shopping cart the user is entering the account assignments, like cost center, GL account and then also the WBS element. The SC is saved and passed to approval. The offline approval then approves the SC, and the PO is automatically created and is being transfered to R/3. But the PO never gets to R/3 because the accounting data is incorrect - the WBS element is not correct in my case. There is an error in the application monitor saying that the WBS element is closed, and then I or the user is trying to change the PO by using BBP_POC - process purchase order. Before switching to Change, all the accounting information is there without any problems - but when pressing the Change button, the WBS element disappears from the PO item data. Very strange, right?
Any ideas?

OracleBI Spreadsheet Add-in disappears from Excel?

I left to work on something else (Word, web browsing, emailing), for 30mins or so, when I returned to my Excel the add-in disappeared. Right-clicking on any cell didn't give me the add-in either.
This has happened to me a few times.
Has anyone got this experience?

Hmmm, do you really want Oracle answering questions in here? The last time anyone from Oracle really made any significant contributions was quite some time ago. Then the most typical reply would be to point you to a section in one of their on-line manuals.
Actually, Oracle do monitor these forums. However, because of the experience that people such as Rod, Russ and myself have, Oracle is more than happy for us to field the answers. We all have real-world experience of using the tool you see.

Im sure this questions has been asked, but its hard to read through everything looking for an answer. So..
I recently bought 4 songs on my iPhone it was my first attempt at purchasing music from Itunes on it, the songs downloaded fine and I was able to listen to them, but the very next time I plugged my phone to my computer the songs disappeared and I can not find them anywhere! Where did they go, and how can I get them back?? and How can I stop this from happening in the future???

I think there in lies the problem... If you have 'Manually manage music and videos' selected in the 'Summary' section for the iPhone you can't manage playlists that way. Which is what could be causing the missing files.
You should report your problem to Apple via the page below so they're aware of the problem. If it is a bug, and I think it is, Apple will resolve it.
