Sprint 4s not getting my text from me and others.

Does anyone have an answer to why my wife noticed that two weeks ago, she stopped getting text messages from my 4s with Verizon and others with non Apple Cell phones as well. She has had this phone for a year with no problems. Thanks.

If she's having an issue with not being able to receive messages from non-iphones, she needs to contact her carrier for them to reprovision her texting plan. if she's not receiving messages from your iphone, then she needs to do the troubleshooting in article TS2755 (you can enter it in the search in the upper-right corner of this page)

Mail not getting all messages from server and other strange behavior

Hello All,
Mail has been doing some odd things for me of late (at least the last week) and I'm lost for a solution to my problem. As far as I can tell, perhaps my Prefs. have become corrupted, or at least something in relation to Mail has become corrupted. Perhaps someone has a solution to this issue before I have to back it all up and NUKE the whole **** app to get back up and running properly.
The main issue I appear to be having is that Mail is not getting all of my Mail messages from my server. I can log into my web-mail interface provided by my domain host and can see there that there are many e-mails that don't appear to be coming down the pipe to the Mail.app client. I'm getting some e-mail's but not all....
*Here are all the things that I've checked:*
• The missing e-mails are not being picked up as Junk and are not in the Junk folder
• I have done a search within Mail for the missing e-mail's and nothing turns up anywhere.
• I have checked on the server end that I'm not maxing out my InBox or that there are any other service issues from my domain host provider.
• I have been into Prefs and checked my account settings - most (see below) of which appear to be as normal and are fine.
*Here are the weird things that I've noticed:*
• When I went into the Prefs. for the account in question, I noticed that my login had changed. For example - it usually it is "[email protected]", however it had seemed to have changed to just "johndoe" - I know this wasn't me as my domain host will not allow me to access any mail unless the login is the full mail address.
• In RULES, every rule I double click to check on seems mostly fine, apart from the fact that every "Account is:" the pull down menu just appears as blank. Usually it says "Account is: ([email protected])"
It's there last 2 items that make me think something is corrupted - so I guess my question is, what pref or file has corrupted and how can I fix it without having to give Mail.app a digital enema?
Any assistance would be most helpful - missing some but not all your incoming e-mail messages is quite annoying, as you can guess...!

Hello Boz.
This appears to be a rules issue. Mail is almost certainly downloading those messages, but they’re probably being processed by your rules in an unexpected way — given the information you’ve provided, maybe because there is something wrong with the file where the account settings are stored.
Do you have any Mail plug-ins? In the Finder, go to each of the following folders (if they exist). What do you see there?
/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/Mail/Bundles/
~/Library/InputManagers/
~/Library/Mail/Bundles/
To make accurately reporting this information easier, you may open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal, type the following command (you can just copy it here and paste it in Terminal), and press <Return>. After having fixed all the filesystem issues, if any, and ensuring that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), try this:
1. Write down your Mail > Preferences > Accounts settings or take screen shots of them.
2. If you have a .Mac account and .Mac synchronization of Mail data is enabled either in Mail > Preferences > General or in System Preferences > .Mac, disable it before proceeding.
3. Quit Mail.
4. Make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder, just in case something goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. You can do this in the Finder by dragging the Mail folder to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, for example. This is where all your mail is locally stored.
5. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences/. Locate com.apple.mail.plist and move it to the Desktop (to be deleted if this solves the problem). If you have a backup of your data that includes a working copy of this file, you may try restoring it from the backup to avoid steps 6-8.
6. Open Mail. You’ll have to set up your non-.Mac accounts from scratch all over again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done.
7. You’ll have to re-configure some of your Mail > Preferences settings. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
8. As a side effect of re-creating com.apple.mail.plist, Mail might rename Outbox (which is where messages waiting to be sent are stored) to Delivered. The name of that mailbox is actually a misnomer, as it would contain messages (if any) that couldn’t be delivered for some reason. You can delete that mailbox if you wish.
9. If the problem is fixed now and .Mac synchronization of Mail data was enabled at the beginning, enable it again, go to System Preferences > .Mac > Advanced, click Reset Sync Data, and choose the appropriate options to reset the Mail data stored on the .Mac server with the data locally stored on the computer, i.e. sync data must flow from the computer to the .Mac server.

IPhone 5 not getting all texts from Galaxy S6

My girlfriend is having a problem not getting all of my texts. As far as we know, it is only happening to texts from my phone. They are showing as sent on the Galaxy S6, but do not show up, ever, on her iPhone 5. The missing messages are random.

Do not get any data from 0CA_IS_TS_1 and 0CA_IS_TS_2 data source

We are trying to populate cubes(0CATS_C01) and (0CATS_C02) for which data sources are 0CA_IS_TS_1 and 0CA_IS_TS_2 respectively. We activated business content for these data sources. When we run these data sources in RSA3 we do not get any data even though we have data in the repective tables. We applied SAP Note :1586467, which says (Note 1586467 - Extractor 0CA_TS_IS_1 returns no data), Can you please help me out in knowing if we are missing some thing?

To use this DataSource you must have implemented Support Package SAPKH46C32, or have made the relevant corrections in SAP Note 509592.

When transferring time sheet data to the Business Information Warehouse (BW), you must note the connection between the following data sources:
· CA_TS_IS_1 (Time Sheet Data (Approved))
Documents are written in the SAP R/3 system for Time Sheets with status 30 (approved). The documents log the changes that have been made to data records.
Therefore, the SAP R/3 system can perform a delta update for this data source. The system only transfers newly approved data records and changes that have been made to existing data records. At the same time, the SAP R/3 system notes the date of the last delta transfer.
· CA_TS_IS_2 (Time Sheet Data (Released for approval))
The SAP R/3 system does not write documents for Time Sheet data with status 20 (released for approval). This means that changes made to these data records are not logged.
Therefore, the SAP R/3 system always performs a complete transfer of data records that have been released for approval. The number of data records that need to be transferred usually remains constant because in the period between two transfers not only new data records are added but other data records are also approved. Therefore, system performance is not restricted.

Not getting events using CAT? (and other trouble)

i am developing an applet for CAT (card application toolkit) to be run on a umts-enabled sim-card.
While trying to register to some events in the applet's constructor i get a ToolkitException with reason EVENT_NOT_ALLOWED.
The Events in Question are:
EVENT_STATUS_COMMAND
EVENT_MENU_SELECTION_HELP_REQUEST
EVENT_TIMER_EXPIRATION
Not being able to register to a timer confuses me a little bit, do i have to fulfill a precondition before
registering to these events?
Many Other events do not occur (or at least my applet is not notified).
While in normal User operation (Phone Calls, sending and receiving SMS) the only event i receive is
EVENT_FORMATTED_SMS_PP_UPD
to notify me of a received sms.
Neither
EVENT_EVENT_DOWNLOAD_CALL_CONNECTED
nor
EVENT_EVENT_DOWNLOAD_CALL_DISCONNECTED .
are sent to me, for example.
Is there anything i am doing wrong?

The same happens implicitly for EVENT_MENU_SELECTION_HELP_REQUEST (see ToolkitRegistry.initMenuEntry(..)) and EVENT_STATUS_COMMAND (see ToolkitRegistry.requestPollInterval(short))
This behaviour depends on the fact that these events are based on limited card ressources (there are only 8 timers available, the poll interval is managed by the toolkit framework, ...)

Is there anything i am doing wrong?Are you sure, that your applet hasn't been triggered? Perhaps another error has occured? Try to change an attribute of the class before doing anything else in the processToolkit(byte) method, trigger the applet and read the content of this attribute after selecting the applet in a CAD.

Getting crazy text in firefox and other app's

I have been getting some crazy text in programs such as firefox

It starts of normal but after about 10-15 minutes it starts to glitch out like that. it seems to be going on with any gui app. As terminal programs still look ok.
I am running a fully updated system on 3.6.7-1

I have the same issue, but _only_ in the tab titles in chromium. Anything else works *fingerscrossed*. My work machine looks different, I had to switch to nouveau driver there.

Tax code not getting picked up from PO during SES

Dear Experts,
I am looking for configuration where the end user need not enter Tax code during SES. I tried a scenario where I did not maintain any service master and also did not enter any line item in service tab at item level, rather I processed my PO using limits.
Now when I prepare SES using this PO, Tax code is not getting picked up from PO and some tax code(I1) appears. Since I don't want end user to input any tax code I've left it blank.
Finally when I am doing MIRO, i am not able select the desired Tax code(say I8) as it is not available for selection. I get only one Tax code(say I1) available for selection. Even other Tax codes are not available for selection.
Please advise, how do I resolve this, why is the Tax code not getting picked up in SES? and why am I not getting other tax codes for selection in MIRO?

Hi,
Tax for service maintained in the service PO in the INVOICE TAB in item details. You are not going to maintain the service tax during SES. In SES you are just recognizing / confirming the vendor performed /completed the required service given to him.
During invoice tax code will flow from service PO to Invoice & you need to just select check box u201Ccalculate taxu201D & remove default tax code in MIRO, if any tax code set for default entry in MIRO. If you want your service tax code should appear in the MIRO screen then just activate in t.code:OBZT (relevant for all transaction),then you can select your service tax code during invoice verification WRT service PO.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Try the action that you're having trouble with again. Post any messages that appear in the Console window – the text, please, not a screenshot.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

How ias integrate with Snacktory for getting main text from an html page

but it only extracts URLs from <A> (anchor) tags. I want to be able to extract URLs from <MAP> tags as wellGee, do you think you could modify the code to check for "Map" attributes as well.
Can someone maybe point a page containing info on the HTML toolkit for me?It's called the API. Since you are using the HTMLEditorKit and an ElementIterator and an AttributeSet, I would start there.
There is no such API that says "get me all the links", so you have to do a little work on your own.
Maybe you could use a ParserCallback and every time you get a new tag you check for the "href" attribute.

Getting the text from a JTextArea...

hi, I'm making a perfect calculator program and I'm trying to add a Note Pad function to it, I also want to hide that so the other interface can be used; I can get it hided and come again but I'm wondering how could I get the text from the JTextArea INCLUSIVE the enters that are made withing it, so:
theString = jTextArea1.getText();only gives me the text and no enters; suggestions?

I think I displayed it wrongTwo things to keep in mind...
Certain Swing components will just ignore newlines, so you have to be careful where/how you're displaying your multiline text strings. Some components will display it all as one line, some will only display the top line, some will even show \n instead of doing the newline. It all just depends.
And JTextArea does support word wrapping, so just because it looks like there's a newline, there may not be one.

I am suddenly not getting a text tone when receiving a text - all other sounds work fine

I am suddenly not getting a text tone when receiving a text. All other sounds work and text tone is checked in settings.

I finally discovered that the problem is with a single text tone and all the rest work fine. The text tone not working is one I purchased from iTunes about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine up until 2 days ago. When the text tone is still there and it plays when I manually select it, but there is no sound when I get a text. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

'imessage' turned off and not getting some texts message

I have turned 'imessage off on my iphone 5.. Now im not getting some texts messages from people.
I have had it turn off all the time as i run a group text app. I did the current 'software update' and it turned imessage back on. I didnt realise for a few days. I have now turned it off. BUT now im not receiving some peoples texts??? any ideas what to do??

Those messages are probably queued up waiting to be delivered
Try turning iMessage on for a brief period and see what happens
If you permanently want to not use iMessage you should consider de registering your number

I've restarted several times. If I restore from backup, unfortunately the backup was done after iOS7 downloaded. Now, am I wrong that "restore as new" will essentially wipe me out? If so, and having backup, you're saying essentially start over and then backup?

Since updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 I'm not getting any text alerts or email alert even though my setting say it's all set right.. Help!!

Since updating my Iphone 5 to iOS 7.0.2 I'm not getting any text or email alerts.. All my setting are set to receive them but I'm not and it's really frustrating!!

Are you receiving the actual messages?
I wasn't receiving any text messages once I updated to iOS 7. I received messages only from iPhone users.
I called AT&T this morning. Turns out, the update cancelled my text messaging plan.
I recommend you check your plan!!!
