HTC HUB coming soon to Verizon HTC devices!
I recently called Verizon and asked why HTC HUB was not installed on my Verizon HTC device, he said that because it was buggy on Verizon Devices they pulled it, but he also said it was coming soon to our devices, but he couldnt find an official release date, He also said it might be coming in the ICS update for Verizon devices.
if I understand it correctly, the Harmon/Kardon version has the exact same hardware, but the software has a tweaked EQ. In my opinion, it isn't worth considering a separate SKU. If you want an M8, get an M8 now and don't wait for one with gimmicky software tweaks.

Can we please hear from Management on the HTC EVO 4G LTE Status
I am starting this post as a hope to actually get some sort of status update on the HTC EVO 4G LTE release.
I think I speak for the techno philes out there that are waiting for and pre ordered the device. Back on the 17th we were disappointed with the information of the delay. As with most of the techno philes in the world I have been following the news and blogs surrounding this situation.
On Sunday we were greeted by the news that customs had released some of the devices, and than the news that Sprint would be shipping the phones by May 24th. Than in one blog I saw this statement which concerned me.

I think we would all appreciate some sort of statement from Best Buy. Some information with anything would be better than living in a vacuum of information.
Those that have pre ordered through Best Buy, and read this forum are loyal and avid Best Buy customers and to be honest I think we deserve some information.
I don't mean to rude or short, but if it is true that direct Sprint customers receive their phones this week and we are left waiting days or even weeks for the device, something needs to be rethought.
Again this is a plea for information more than anything.I don't think they know... I am betting HTC had the Sprint shipments move to the front of the line and they got the first batches of phones that cleared customs... I read somewhere that they test one phone from every box/case shipped in before clearing them. All I know is my preorder with Best Buy still says back ordered and the preauthorization on my credit card is gone now (but those usually go away in 10 days anyway) but since Sprint isn't taking any more orders right now and no one else has them in stock all you can do is WAIT.... Sucks but I bet no one at Best Buy knows a true date and they don't want people to start canceling...

I've been waiting for a warranty replacement handset for months now.. It took two plus months to find out my Touch Pro couldn't be repaired.. I was told I would receive a call when the Touch Pro 2 was available as a replacement. Sprint stores got it a month later but store 554 never got it. I was frustrated but kept cool in the meantime checking in monthly. A couple of months later the Sprint EVO was announced.. I immediately went in and spoke with the manager. As usual she was a pleasure but there was a catch. She said that I couldn't receive one until they can sell them without contract. I'm sure she had her reasons (pre-orders?) but has been going on now for a very long time. She's always taken care of me and everyone (4 Sprint activations/ 1 upgrade) I've brought to the store but where is my EVO? -
Sprint HTC EVO 3D - Looks pretty sweet
If you'll notice, my name says 'Employee' underneath. That dosen't mean I work in a store, hehe. I have no access to these phones, but I've been reading reviews. I'm seriously considering this model for myself. I mean, come on.. 3D?!

-CDMA 800
This is the first phone that I'd have that would support multimode. Sprint's new switches/towers will take advantage of their full spectrum (800, 1.9, 2.5) allowing your phone to flip to the band that has the best reception and such. This will be awesome once turned on.
-Better screen resolution (540 x 960 vs 480 x 800)
-Better processor (1.2 dual vs 1.0)
-A little thinner (.47" vs .50")
Now I'm getting phone anxious.

Palm needs a new device for summer on sprint after HTC Evo announcement.
First, I am a loyal Palm fan and believe web OS is the best mobile OS on the market to date. No one is close to the ease of use of the OS and the pure genius of getting updates out and innovating and improving so quickly. With that said, if you know about the HTC Evo and its specs, you tend to think the Pre is a drag. A webOS device with a 4.3 inch screen would be quite the experience and with a better camera for nice HD video and HDMI out, it would be awesome with the new editing feature. The most important thing is the processing speed. If webOS was super slick with a snapdragon processor it would be a no brainer to pick this phone over any phone currently on the market. Palm if you are listening, the palm pre was a great device and the pre plus only made it better. It needs to go further and quickly.
+1. I feel the WebOS is far superior to Android but Palm is falling behind. I recently added a patch that makes my Pre way faster and is even more stable than without it. Many of us that got our Pre will be up for our Premier upgrade in June and we need Palm and Sprint to give us something to keep up us using the Pre. With other carriers now carrying the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus why can't Sprint carry the same. Maybe even a 4g version. At this point if Palm has not even launched a rumor about a next generation Pre on the Sprint network I may be jumping on the Evo bandwagon. I hope this thread is read and taken seriously. There is huge hype on the Evo and Palm needs to attack.

When switching from HTC evo to iphone 4s on sprint service the attendant said all my music, photos, and videos would transfer after some time. Does anyone know if this is true, or has anyone had this issue happen to them? It has been 8 hours since the switch and only my contacts transferred right away.
Well i wouldn't see why your photo's, videos and music would trasnfer. As that is a android device, there is no way to have them transfer over the air to the iphone.
Contacts probably came from google. Your videos and such you would have to move them to PC then to the iphone. Same with your music. -
My daughter accidentally reset her ipod4 to factory settings so I restored from the last iCloud backup. All her photos were on camera roll so I believe they should have automatically been backed up, but none have been restored. Why?
When she plugged in the ipod last night it backed up again so that now shows as the latest backup. No previous backups are listed so I do not seem to have the option to rerun the old one. She had many pictures on the camera roll taken from well before July. I can only presume that the backup in July must have been incomplete - but then I didn't think it was supposed to list as an option to restore from. Luckily many of the photos had been backed up on the pc but I am very frustrated as to why the icloud backup didn't protect them. Thank you for your advice though, I appreciate it.

I just purchased an IPod Shuffle. I have an existing account with Itunes where I have many songs in my library. I plugged in my IPod Shuffle into my computer and ITune, but it has been blinking orange for hours. I had already charged the IPod until the light turned green. So I thought it was fully charged. When I go under "file" and "device" it won't permit me to sync my IPod. What is happening? Should my IPod be on or off and does that make a difference because I have it turned on. Anyone who can provide me with some guidance it would be greatly appreciated. I am extremely frustrated and at the end of my rope.

Boot into your Mavericks Recovery partition by hold down the command and R keys whilst booting. You'll see a screen that looks like this:
Click on the Disk Utility item to open Disk Utility. You should see your boot drive (usually named "Macintosh HD" unless you've changed it) in the column on the left of the screen. Select your boot partition and click on the "Verify" button. Let your Mac do it's thing - if you get green text telling you that everything seems to be OK, then your disk should not be damaged. If, however, you get red text telling you that the disk needs to be repaired, click on the "Repair" button. If the disk can be repaired, you should be good to go. If the disk cannot be repaired then the drive is damaged.
But before you do anything, make certain that you have backups!!!

When I run a system utilities check and select HD. i always get a prompt the the SUID System/Library/CoreS has been modified and will not be repaired. How can I access this file so that I may repair it? Left unrepaired . There are a lot of files that do not have the correct code. They are one thing but should be another

Have had Firefox for years on my mac and works great. Downloaded today new 4.0 on desktop mac OS 10.6.7 and works great. Have sync and decided to follow instructions to download Firefox to my HTC EVO 4G. Seemed to download correctly and did get the 3 part key and entered fine. Firefox icon shows up with icon in list of All apps and will work if clicked upon.
But, how do I make Firefox my home page on my phone? When I select magnifying glass key on glass I go to standard google homepage I've had since day one. I'd like to go directly to Firefox as I do on the desktop.Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)
What am I doing wrong ? -
