Sprint iPhone 4 - voicemail notification not working

I can't seem to figure out how to set my iPhone 4 on the Sprint network to show a notification indication when I have a voicemail? I know someone on Verizon that gets their voicemessages listed in some sort of list - I don't get nothing - no notice whatsoever! Please advise or I don't have to wait in line at the Sprint store.

Oh, OK, so your big issue is with Notification Center. Personally, I have mail off in Notification Center, but my iPhone buzzes anyway when locked, which happens to be enough info for me.
But I see your original post says you have set up Notification Center properly to give you visual as well as audio clues you have email waiting, but it's not working.
I wonder if resetting your iPhone would help. Try holding the home and on/off buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have) but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.

Push for a particular app? All apps? Have you tried a reset? To reset the iPhone, press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the slide to power off prompt).

The 'fix' that is decribed in the first post does not work. The only workaround is if you are on Wi-Fi, turn off Cellular Data and then reset the push service by turning on Airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it back off. Seems to be an issue with the iOS talking to the new LTE CDMA chip on Verizon and Sprint iPhone 5s.

Sophiaand88 this seems to be a problem with an unknown solution and may be related to a recent update (?). I began having the same problem about 10 days ago when I upgraded to 6.1.3 software. Through research, I have learned that it is a relatively uncommon problem and there are no sound solutions and apple has not addressed it in a favorable way. Multlple suggestions out there including phone in the freezer, blow dryer to the wi-fi area. All sound crazy to me. I have personal hotspot that at least helps me for now. I will give apple a little time and hope a solution comes, but if not I will probably have to get a new phone. P.S. no one I dealt with at my sprint store had ever heard of this. P.s. I reset everything to no avail. Good luck.

Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
If that does not help, reinstall iPhoto - that fixed the same problem for me, but that will delete the iPhoto library, so your journals and slideshows will be lost. You may want to make a backup of your iPhone before you try that.
Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.

I have a similar issue I could use help with. I just upgraded to a iPhone 4S and received my new phone but there is no Greeting buttong at all. When I go to the phone icon, then the voicemail icon the voicemail icon automatially dials an A.T.& T voicemail number - there is no Greetings on the top lefthand corner. My cousin has the same phone and she has Greetings typed at the top of her voicemail page and she can click on it and then there is a place to leave a voice mail message. The upshot is, I have no outgoing message and nothing for people to hear and no way for people to leave messages. Any suggestions?

I have a problem about LINE messenger notification from my iPhone 4 is not working.
I do not have such problem before until it happen on now.
The problem was when i tried to receive message from my friends, the notification is not there is no sound and no pop up message.
FYI, I have to tried the below testing but still failed:
1. Checked all settings under the LINE messenger settings.
2. Checked all settings under my iPhone 4 settings under 'notification'
3. Restart iPhone 4 and re-downloaded the application many time.
I am currently using:
1) iPhone 4
2) iOS 7.1.2 ((latest version for My phone can support)
3) Latest version of LINE messenger

I am giving you examples in both the ways which we can use
     1. Normal \n method:

     2. HTML break <br>:

There is no other way to break a line directly.
However you can use a character like "$" to seperate the string and on client side break the line where you find "$".
This is the hard way, use programming to break a line and not a preffered way.

The iPhone 4 may not work with a cut down SIM. Get a microSIM from your carrier when you set up service.
