IPhone 6 downloaded music even when I have iCloud and home sharing off
So I bought my iPhone 6 today. And logged in to the App Store to download a few apps. I later noticed that it had made available to stream and download all my songs that I have in my 5s even though I have iCloud and Homesharing off on both my iPhone 6 and 5s. Why is this?
Homesharing does not transfer media... it simply allows one computer to access the library on another computer.
If you want to move the media from one computer to another, then move it.
Type "move itunes library" into the search bar and you'll find detailed instructions from Apple on how to move the iTunes library. -
I want to use my old iphone for my kids as an ipod. How do I keep from getting text messages on it when it is turned on? If it is on, and my droid razar is on, text messages will go to the iphone. It is either a 4 or 4s ...I don't have Siri, so I think it's a 4. Thanks
Another thing to remember is the phone is actually usable for 911 calls and maybe others. Not a real good idea. Especially for a child.
It would depend however on the age of the child.

Why do I have to download songs/albums onto my iphone when I have icloud and purchased the songs from itunes? I thought the purpose of purchasing from itunes when you have icloud is that you don't have to download each song/album that you want to hear. I get like 5-10 songs from the last two albums i have downloaded, but not the entire album.
Are you talking about iTunes Match? If so, you don't have to download entire albums, all you have to do is play the songs you want to hear.
If you're asking why you have to download the music at all rather than just playing it from iCloud, the music has to be stored locally on your device, either in permanent or cache memory, in order for your device to play it. -
why is it when i download the software update for iphone an error pops out when downloading is finish and processing file is being done...i've already tried several time but still the same result.
Disasble the computer's security software during the download and update.

Try a reboot press & hold power button & menu until Apple Logo comes on then wait
you will not lose any data.

When I have resized and saved an image in Photoshop (CS, version 8.0 for Mac) using image size, why is it so large when I open it in preview or another image viewer? Has it actually saved according to the size I specified?
You want to view the image at the Print Size, which represents the size that shows in the Image>Resize Dialog.
View>Print Size
Since screen resolution is almost always lower that the print resolution (somewhere between 72 and 96 usually), images will always look bigger on the screen, unless you view them at print size.
(apple Retina displays have a much higher resolution than normal screens, closer to the average print size resolution)

So I update from an old DroidX to a Iphone 5 and now I cannot get texts on my 2012 Ford Edge My Touch Sync. I thought I was upgrading? Before my text messages would come in and I could have them read to me as I was driving. I can voice text messages as I am driving with Siri but now I do not receive responses. Is there a way around this?
