Sprint vs Apple Contract Pricing

Apple's website infers the total monthly price will be $120 and Sprint's website states $80.  Please explain the discrepency.
Apple:
Sprint:

Apologies for the math error, yes Apple is listing the plan for $110.  Sprint does offer a "MY ALL-INSM PLAN" contract for $110. However, this plan includes a 5 GB hotspot but Apple's site states the hotspot is not included.  I want to purchase the phone through Apple and not Sprint.
I think just the one page on Apple's site is misleading.  They actually show the correct contract pricing here:

    Hi Krisn,
What I have said is a way to maintain the condition type for the discount to be applied. If you want the discount to be applied only when the sales order gets raised from Value contract. The easy and alternat way is go to "OVKK" and assign a pricing procedure without this discount type to the sales area and the customer pricing procedure and the contract pricing procedure. And for the sales order which is a followup of the value contract assign a different pricing procedure with the discount condition type. But you have to copy the standard order type "OR " and rename it and maintain this as an order type for the value contract and document pricing procedure for this should be some  customized one. Goto "VOK0"  and Create a new docu pricing procedure and assign this in "OVKK".Maintain the copy controls and pricing type shopuld be "C". Kindly please let me know If you need any more help on this.

  • Copy contract pricing from sales contracts in billing

    Hi
I Have a requirement to Copy contract pricing agreements from sales contracts during resource related billing creation.
At the time of resource related billing is performed, the agreed contract rate should be taken into account when pricing is performed in SAP. So, the agreed price needs to be copied from the contract condition record into the resource related billing transaction (sales pricing) as a condition record.
Can i get the solution for this?
If anybody knows the solution please help me out. Appropriate Points will be awarded. Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Ravi

You just need to configure your pricing properly.
Suppose you have condition type with document/item keys in the condition table.
Now, if you define conditions for contract/item, to pick them up in the invoice - you just need to pass contract number/item number in the fields you use in your access sequence for this particular condition type.
You can either define new step in the access sequence passign different fields (assuming konh or konp have fields for contract number) OR use ueserexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk, userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp to populate fields in TKOMK/TKOMP you then use in your access sequence to search for pricing condiiton record.

  • HT3743 My cousin jailbroke her iPhone 4 (still under warranty) and realized it was stupid and immediately restored. If she breaks the phone, will Sprint or Apple replace it?

It hasn't been a year since she bought it, so both Sprint and Apple have her phone under warranty, if I'm correct. Yes, she did jailbreak it. But she has restored since then. Will Apple still help her? Or will Apple not even be able to tell? She needs help. Any ideas?  Thanks. It's restored- it is not jailbroken anymore.

No. Jailbreaking voids the warranty and any AppleCare agreement entirely.
It is not always possible to return a jailbroken phone to a pristine state.
The phone is now unsupportable by Apple or on these forums.

  • Are sprint and apple trying to fix the 3g speed problem with the iphone 4s?

Ive had my 4s for about a month now, and i am about 50% happy with it. The internet speed is so slow when im not on wi-fi, and
in the evenings the picture mail service is so slow, since it runs on the 3g network. Ive sat back and waited to see if it gets better, but
doesn't look like it has. I haven't even seen where sprint nor apple have stated that there is a problem, and that really makes me mad.
Why did i pay $200 for an iphone that I cant even use to the full advatange people. Sprint and Apple really need to make a statement and
fix this problem, they are going to loose a lot of customers.  Thanks.

  • How to Change Contract pricing Procedure

Is there a way after the contract has been created to change the pricing procedure it uses. I know you can do this in the sales order.
    Will reward any help.
    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi
Pricing procedure is determined from the customer master(customer pricing group in the sales area tab) + document pricing procedure in the order type + sales area
So if you want to change the contract pricing procedure, change the document pricing procedure in the contract type you are using.
And make sure there is a combination maintained for the new document pricing procedure in IMG to determine the pricing procedure in the contract.

Bought my iMac through Apple Education Pricing. Does this mean the warranty has been extended from the original one year to three years?

No. If you want an extended warranty you still must purchase it. It is not included with education pricing.

  • Contract Pricing - Healthcare

Does anyone know how to load specific contract pricing by item and supplier? We do not want to create Blanket POs. If there are any Healthcare users of Oracle Procurement, I would love to talk with you.

This issue is now resolved - an OSS message was raised with the note, http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2074890, written to resolve the issue.

  • I want to know about apple contract with sprint, verizon,

Please send me full detail in simple english language about apple contract

You are not addressing Apple in these forums. We are all just users like yourself.
Apple does not have contracts wit the carriers. You enter the contract with the carriers for cellular service. Go to the cellular provider's webpage for the country you are interested in.

  • Iphone 6 64gb 2yr contract pricing $899

I recently bought a new iPhone, upgrading after a previous 2yr contract to a new one at AT&T. The phone was bought at an Apple Store and when asked I was told that my contract remain the same, all the discounts are not affected and it would be a same 2yr contract as previously.
This is not the case. AT&T sent a text message (how ridiculous) a couple days later with the following:
"Upgrading your new device on a 2-year wireless agreement means you are no longer eligible for your Mobile Share Value1 monthly smartphone access charge discount. This discount is $15 off the $40 per month 2-year agreement rate access charge for Mobile Share Value plans that include less than 10GB of data. This discount is $25 per month for 10GB or higher Mobile Share Value plans.
Other ways to keep your Mobile Share Value monthly smartphone access charge discount include choosing AT&T NextSM, paying full price for a smartphone, or bringing your own smartphone and adding it to your account."
I went after it because it sounds pretty outrageous and that's what I figured out. AT&T's policy has been changed. Previously, the phone was discounted when 2yr contract was signed and every month the full price of the phone, which was included in the monthly bill was credited. This is not the case anymore. When signing a 2yr contract now, this $25 monthly credit is lost and basically with contract we are supposed to pay the full price of the phone during the contract period. To make even more nonsense, depending on the data usage the price of the 64gb iPhone 6, which is advertised as $299 with contract is actually $299+$360=$659 for a <10gb plan and $299+$600=$899 for a >=10gb plan. 2 different prices for the same phone, while already paying more for the extra data in data plan.
I found this surprising because everywhere (from Apple's keynote presentations where the new products are introduced through the webpage to the Apple stores) it is misleadingly advertised as a $299 product with contract.
I could even understand that the carriers want to increase their profit, although they actually do that when charging extra if someone upgrades the phones more frequently, but this is a major difference in the pricing of the iPhone. I am sure I am not the only one who got shocked by this policy and would like to achieve the following two goals:
    1. Better information before purchasing. This is something Apple and the carriers should work out. There is no point advertising something $299 if there is no way to buy it for that.
    2. I think it is a bad business practice from the carriers and I would appreciate if Apple could try to negotiate a more suitable solution for the pricing. It is obvious that if people are forced to pay $659-$899 for a phone instead of the "suggested" $299 they will upgrade their  phones 2-3 times less frequently.
I hope anyone who is thinking of upgrading will find this useful.

I went over and over this prior to deciding to upgrade from my iPhone 5 to the iPhone 6. However, I knew in advance that I would no longer get the $15 discount on my Mobile Share Value plan. The discount that Apple would have been referring to is that if you are getting a percentage off based on being in the military or working with a specific company, that discount will continue to be applied.
Almost all phones are sold subsidized and the cost is recouped from the monthly payments to the carrier. What was happening previously is that even after AT&T recouped the full cost of the phone, they continued to charge the same amount for their monthly service. This dramatically inflated their profits for someone that had paid off their phone (2-year agreement was complete) and they didn't upgrade to a new phone. Therefore, a couple of years ago they implemented a discount for each line that was no longer under contract. If you weren't the type of person to upgrade your phone every couple of years, this could result in a large amount of savings over time. However, once you sign a new 2-year agreement, you no longer receive that discount.
The way that they can get away with advertising the cost of the on-contract iPhone for $199, $299, or $399 is that they see the loss of a discount a discount on the plan and not having to pay more for the iPhone. Also, the discount can be different for each carrier. In Apple's and AT&T's mind, they are selling you an iPhone for $299 and they aren't going to try and explain the different discounts from each carrier that you may lose by buying a new on-contract phone.
One last thing is that the suggested price is not $299. The cost of a 64GB iPhone 6 is $650. Therefore it is sold to anyone on contract at a much lower price and then the difference has to be paid somehow. AT&T is getting that cost by removing discounts from your plan. T-Mobile does things a bit differently by not allowing you to purchase the iPhone at a subsidized price, you have to pay for the phone with monthly payments on top of your monthly bill. Of course Apple is going to say at their keynote presentation that the iPhone 6 starts at only $199 on contract. They want to make the iPhone attractive to as many users as they can. If they come out and say that the cost of the iPhone starts at $550, most people won't even go into a store to inquire.
This practice is somewhat misleading but they will tell you all the information up front by calling them or going into an AT&T store. I had one representative go over all the different options and what my costs would be almost a month prior to the iPhone 6 getting released. They didn't try to withhold anything from me and were very up front with all my questions.

  • Contract pricing based on the depth of the drilling

    Dear Friends,
We have pricing requirement for services where the vendor will charge the company on  the hours of service performed.
The Price of the service also vary based on the depth where the service is performed for example
    Fracturing service      10   Hr                Depth      0 -  499        Meter       500 USD
                                                                  Depth      500 -  999     Meter     700 USD
                                                                  Depth      1000-  1500   Meter   800USD
I am not sure how to capture these details at contract ME31K condition.
One option is to use scales , but when I do the service entry sheet or the PO. The syetm should automatically pickup the
price based on the depth,  so  for 8 hr of service  at depth  400 M  price should automatically be picked up as 500 USD.
Please let me know if you have encountered the simillar situtaion, if yes kindly let me know the process for the same.
    Thanks,
    Anurag

    Dear Anurag,
This can be done in better way in Plant maintenence module.
Consider the drilling depth as operation in the maintenence order.
For every operation assign activity type so as to calculate the cost.
Suppose if they drill for 50m ,they have to enter the operation confirmation as 50 hour.
    here 1meter=1 hour.
If there are various slots, for every slots you have to create activity type.
say for example if for 0-100 meter cost is 10$,and 101-150m cost is 20$,
for 140 meter of drill depth, you have to enter two operations, one will be upto 100 meter, another will be upto 40 meter with different activity type so as to calculate the different cost.
    Hope you understood the scenario.

  • Help on Value Contract - Pricing Procedure.

Hi, I am trying to create value contract.
I have created a contract for specific material (WK2) with the target value. The pricing procedure is WK00Z with only one Ctype  WK00. Condition Records are maintained for WK00 for customer / material.
When I create a release order, the unit pricing of the material is Target Value provided in the contract and getting multiplied by the quantity, instead of the price provided in Condition Records created.
Can any one tell me how to fix this error.
    Sunil

I assume you create the order with reference to the contract and have copy control setup between contract and order.
At the item level copy control, what <u>"Pricing type"</u> have you used?
In the same place, what is the setting for <u>"Contract item copy mode"</u>?
