SPRO Access

Hi,
I had similar situation as in the below link:
SPRO Authorization in Project created under spro_admin
I have a requirement to assign only SAP Utilities->Intercompany Data Exchange to the user
I did as per Julia, but in my case, the user is able to access other nodes in SAP Utilities also, but not other than SAP Utilities(eg:Enterprise Structure, Real Estate etc)
I added only SAP Utilities->Intercompany Data Exchange in the new Project via SPRO_ADMIN & created role by adding that new Project, but still the user is able to access other nodes present in SAP Utilities (eg: Device Mgmt, Contract Billing etc)
Can anyone tell me, why this is happening?

Sid

please check the below link to get more information on SPRO. It is not required to give access to SPRO to give access to some part of the IMG. You need to enhance / customize the IMG while defining the project. Let me know for any confusion.

  • Spro access for particular module

    hi guys,
    *SPRO access*
z:sap_bc_cus_customiser, z:sd_auth, these two roles assigned to the SD user. but once logs into the system, it is saying that  you are not authorised to spro nodes.
please suggest me for this problem.

    Ramesh

So, what does the output from SU53 look like?
What objects are touched when you run a trace on a user with sufficient authorizations?
You'll have to provide more information as authorization problems are mostly complex and do not have a "press button A in transaction WXYZ" solution.
Seeing your other post: have you generated the profiles for these roles?

  • SPRO Restriction

    Hi,
I want to restrict authorization module wise on SPRO (lets say FI/CO), and I have been able to create a project through SPRO_ADMIN and created the role for the same using the customizing auth option. Its not giving me the desired output:
    1. On extracting the list of t-codes for the restricted SPRO role, i get more than 100,000 tcodes in which basis t-codes are also a part of it. Which I believe is incorrent.
    2. I have assigned the user this role and he is able to see the customized SPRO but he has to sleect the Project in his favourites for that. This I dont want because the SAP "reference Img " button is also there and he can access the complete SPRO.
    What I want:
    1. a limited role with ONLY FICO customization, and no reference img access
    Please help.
    Best Regards

    Hi JK,
Have you created a role with SPRO transaction and assigned to the user? have you tried editing the role to control SPRO access?
Have you tried what is mentioned below (it is in the thread provided by Javier)
    Hi Rami,
One way to do it is by first creating Customizing Project in SPRO_ADMIN. You can specify its scope manually from Reference IMG in the scope tab. You can just click the checkbox for Controlling. Then you generate your Project IMG. Read about SPRO_ADMIN and how to create a project in SAP help if you are not really sure and you will understand.
Then in PFCG -> Menu tab - >Utilities -> Customizing Auth -> Add -> Select your Project which you created for controlling and then maintain it as you normally do for other roles.
One thing to remember in customizing role is that you cannot add your additional transactions in this role.

  • How disable SPRO from Sap_new and Sap_All profile

    Hello,
One of my training ID have SAP_NEW AND SAP_ALL. From the particular user how can I disable SPRO transaction.
    Please help
    Regards
    Kariyath

    Hello Kariyath,
My understanding is that you want the user to just not have access to SPRO though rest all is okie. You should try changing SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW as these are standard SAP. I would suggest that you remove SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW from user profile and instead assign him a role which will be same as SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and then you can remove SPRO access from it. This would actually help you in monitoring authorizations in a better manner. Please use the following steps for it.
Create a new role in PFCG.
Don't assign any transactions in role menu. Go to Authorizations tab and open it in expert mode for profile generation.
Now go to edit->Insert Authorizations->Full authorizations.
This would give SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the role. next go to authorization object S_TCODE.
Here you will find the value as *. You need to change it. Make it:
    A* to SPRN*
    SPRP* to Z*.
Now remove SAP_ALL from the user and assign him this role.
But while the user won't be able to execute SPRO it doesnot mean that he won't be able to execute other transactions that are within SPRO for example OB52,SALE etc. If you requirement is just SPRO specific then this issue is solved but in case you need it for other ransactions then you need to define the values in s_tcode accordingly.
I hope this should be able to solve the issue. Please award points accordingly.

  • Spro full authorization without sap_all and sap_new

    Hi Friends,
Can u suggest me how to give spro full authorization without sap_all and sap_new profile.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Tarun

    Hi Gowrinadh,
This is an interesting discussion. I don't mean to take shots at your concept, but I have some concerns about it as a solution.
    > I have prepared a role 8 months back, we passed 2 patch upgrade cycles and I can confirm that this role will work even after the next version of ECC upgrade.
Sometimes the symptoms only make themselves visible later, and we don't know what is coming in the next version of ECC. Of course it should be largely compatable, but there will be new stuff. You can be sure of that.
    > If there are any modules or new functionalities required, then customer has to request for it in addition.
My understand is that the customer requests a full and working SPRO role for each release. They will not find the tcodes for you and do not want to play ping-pong via support tickets either with it.
So each time you bill your customer for the 20 or 40 hours work for maintaining these tcodes manually in ranges? Appart from being error-prone, this solution is not scalable for when SAP might introduce another 20000 tcodes into the SPRO. Or someone convinces SAP to introduce an S_TCODE check for every line of code the whole system... (this is something which some people seem to believe in...), which would introduce several billion new tcodes for you...
    > For which we can build separate role.
That is different. The question here (and certainly your solution) is to have them in the same role without duplicates but still including all SPRO access.
If you build them as seperate roles, then you can merge them as projects into one composite and live with the duplicates while checking for any known objects which should not be included.
I would agree with you. That is in my opinion a better solution, but it is not what you have been describing earlier.
    > We can plan for authorizations and build roles based on the inputs for today and tomorrow received from customer.
That is the whole point in having maintainable roles and scalable processes. Manually maintaining 20k tcodes is incompatable with such requirements.
    > By the way, the max no of consultants and business process owners having this role is not more than 40.
I don't think that assigning the role to less people will make it more usefull, nor that assigning it to more people will bring down it's per user cost of maintenance.
There is some old code posted here already which does what you have described in less than 1 minute. You can find it via the tables I have mentioned above, and will recognize it (and it's age)  by the header lines it uses for internal tables. But it still works, since about release 3 point something...

  • Authorization of Tcodes PT01,PT02 in Production server

    Hi Folks,
I have a scenario wherein the client need to generate workschudules at the beginning of ever year using PT01 and make changes using PT02 whenever required.
Those these tcodes are authorized in the respective roles. SAP is not alllowing changes as the clisnt is locked for SPRO access.
Tell me how this is address in general.
    regards,
    Santhosh

    Santhosh:
You would like to have these transactions PT01 AND PT02 to be executed for the user. Hence first thing we need to check is which roles support for the above transactions. To check the same, go to SUIM transaction in SAP, select -- Role -- by Transaction Assignment. Give the transaction PT01 and execute. This will display the role which has the PT01 AND pt02 transaction.
This role need to be added to the user who executes using SU01 --> Roles or by PFCG making comparision. Once these roles are available, he can able to execute.

  • Rule Upload : GRC10

    Hello Gurus,
Would appreciate if anyone can let me know how to use the Upload SOD rules feature under SPRO>Access Control> Access Risk Analysis> SOD Rules> Upload SOD rules.
Here I am asked to upload the files for Business Process, Function, Permission, Risk etc. but not sure where can I get the format for these files? I need to append few new functions and their corresponding risks into an existing ruleset.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello Vikas,
Thanks, have dropped you a mail for the files. Though I am not very sure I need them or whould I directly use the export functionality of my exixting SAP GRC 5.3 ruleset.
We have decided not go to for the Global Ruleset but use the custom one from GRc 5.3 (as we were using GRC 5.3 earlier) by importing the same. Thus I have the following questions on he rueset Migration:
    1. How will I migrate existing Ruleset from 5.3 to 10.0 Development Box(using your files or I guess there is a functionality already in 5.3 to export the ruleset)? Can you please tell me how to Migrate this (which was actually my question)?
    2. How will then I be able to Migrate the ruleset from GRC 10.0 Development Box to GRC 10.0 Quality Box?
    Thanks.

  • GRC V10: BRFplus rule transport

    Hi experts,
how is it possible to transport a brfplus rule.
we generate a function module via SE37 and afterwards the rule. Are the decision table and all brfplus rule settings in the transport of the function module?
Or should I transport the rule as well via brfplus? But there the "Transport" button is greyed-out, because of local object.
But the generated rule has still a local package in the settings, although the function module was assigned to a customer-package. As well I found a note 1624157, but this note doesn't work.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot.
    Alexa

    Hi Alexa,
Yes brfplus rules will be transported along with function module, no need to transport separately.
First create the function module and assign to to customer package with transport request and dont forget to activate it. Once this is done select "Define Wofkflow-Related MSMP Rules" from SPRO -> Access Control -> Workflow for Access Control.
There select correct process id, rule type, rule kind, Rule id and in Application/Func. Group Name insert the function module which you have created and execute it.
Let me know if it fixes your issue.
    Thanks,

  • Fleet Maitenece in SAP

I am implementing Fleet in SAP .As per SAP standard I had a look in the Fleet configuration .But I am bit confused about the fuel conumption .
In current scenario the fleets consume fuel from outdoor petrol pump whenever required .But as per SAP standard we need to maintain fuel as matirial .So do we need to create PO and do MIGO everytime we do a re-fueling ??
Is there any other work around for this  ?

    Follow this path:
IMG => PM & CS => Master Data => Technical Objects => Setting for Fleet management => Consumption relevant counter readings update => Define key & cost objects
Keep the code as 05 - other goods receipt. Make the movement type as 101 & reversal as 102. Select the option of cost center.
I have only display SPRO access. So please try this.

    Hi Luciana.,
Thanks for your great explanation and you have answered my query all the way Thanks once again.
    But one more query please
    Regarding below,
"The GRCPIERP is an addon basically for your system that has SAP HR installed, so you can integrate HR into GRC, to get requests for new hires, termination, etc."
Does this means if I have no need of  HR trigger/my plugin systems is not HR system then GRCPIERP is not at all required for ARQ, EAM, ARA and BRM for even single functionality?

  • Drill down Reports created In SPRO to execute in SAP Easy Access

    Hi
In customizing which is transaction spro, at the following location Financial Accounting->General Ledger Accounting->Information System->Drilldown Reports you can create drill down reports.
What I would like to know is where can the user execute them from in SAP Easy Access?? There is transaction FSIB (Background Processing) which allows you to execute it in SAP Easy Acces but it wants to print the report and not display it on the screen. Is there a way to display on the screen in SAP Easy Access??
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
To run a report either in foreground or background you need to know the report name. To run the report in foreground goto SE38 and give the report name and execute it. If you see the status message " This report is not a type P" then goto SE93 and findout the transaction with the help of report name description. so you can run the transaction. To add the transaction to your role technical consultant will take care.
    Bye,

  • Difference between SAP Menu Access and SPRO

    Hi everybody,
Can someone tel me what is the difference between SAP Menu Access and SPRO ?
Is it possible to add topics in them (SAP Menu and SPRO) ?
    Thank you in advance
    Best regards
    Mustapha

    Dear,
SAP menu access is initial screen for SAP. after putting client no and usr name and pwd we can able to see the initial screen of SAP.
SPRO - SAP reference IMG . Through this transaction code SAP Functional Consultants  they can able to customizing the settings related to COMPANY requirements.
SAP menu access ,SPRO we can't add any topics. But in SAP menu access we  can add the transactions programs like that.
    Thanks,

  • Access Sequence for Sched Agrmt

Can we use a condition table defined for one application ( for EL say with fields ccode , doctype and vendor ) in another app area ( say EV ).
How to assign a condition table to access sequence ? i went through spro to access sequence def for the SChd Aggrement , when i create a new entry in acces sequence and save it , it gives an error message 'field assignment not made ' ?

I dont think it is a good idea to use condition tables of one application in another.
After you have created the access sequence there is something called access where you need to assign the condition tables to the access sequence.
Go to transaction NACE to configure the access sequence.
