Spry Accordion : How to keep the last panel ?

Hi!
In the div 'AccordionPanelcontent', i have links which open
the same page. The opening index is on 0. If the user is on an
other panel than the first, and he click on a link, the page is
refreshed nromally, but the accordion come back an opens the first
panel. How do you do if you don't want the widget to move when you
click or a link and that it keeps the last panel opened ?

It will store previous selection.
I think you did following steps:
1. Creating Parameter
2. Applying Expert on report.
If you refresh then it asks for "Used value" Or "New value"... If you do it second time it shows previous selection also.

I like to keep the last image to stay after movie/ animation finished to play, but they disappear and shows the "x" mark.
How can I leave the last image stays after they are done playing? Please help with this?

Welcome to the forum. What you are referring to is a Freeze Frame.
Though I like John T's method (one that I use), you might want to look into Frame Hold, if it is in Pr 6.5. It works in a similar fashion, but I like the still for my Freeze Frames. Also, remember that you can adjust the Duration of the still, by click-dragging on the Tail, until it is as long as you need.

How to keep the Book panel in the same location after saving the book

I almost always have the Book panel open. I like to dock all the panels, including the Book panel, at the right edge of the workspace. But whenever I save a book file, the Book panel reappears in the middle of my screen. I then have to drag it back over to the right edge of the workspace, where I want it to be. Is there any way to keep the Book panel where I put it (whether docked, or floating)?

This is simply a "ditto" to the problem; it's a major irritation not to be able to save this as part of the workspace--but to have to drag the book panel to the side every single time. Frustrating.

Spry Accordion how to open on load panels closed

I'm having problems with spry accordion on load panels closed. I tried putting the changing the var in the javascript usedFixedPanelHeight: false:, and that didn't work. The box would come up saying that this javascript will not work for this accordion. I tried *Closed* in the accordion div tag and that didn't work. Can someone help me please. I'm trying to load panels closed.

I was looking at that link you gave before I submitted this post. It wasn't very clear to me.
1. You say set the default panel set the defaultPanel option to - 1?. Where is the defaultPanel located? When I click the button to create a spry Accordion it only gives me options of creating panels. Is the defaultPanel panel located is the CSS tab?
2. The link you gave says closing panels only works with variable height. Can you tell me what is variable height? I looked at the code at this page to see if I could see what it was doing. I observed that the javascript at the bottom which is a variable was changed for the spry accordion. I copied and pasted code in my page and it didn't work.
I really trying to hard to figure this out. Thanks for your help.

an open panel, it doesn't close. I've got the
"useFixedPanelHeights: false, defaultPanel: -1" properties set, and
those properties are working correctly, and it's variable height
and they're starting out closed, but for some reason, whenever I
click on any of the open panels, nothing happens, and I don't even
get a javascript error.
Any ideas on how to make those open panels close?

I have the same problem except my panels start off open. I
have all the properties set as above as well. I thought it might be
a conflicting .css issue, so I detached the page from my template
and started hacking away at the .css rules that page wasn't using,
but that didn't help at all. I'm really at a loss. That page is
doing other strange, inexplicable stuff too, such as picking up the
wrong formatting in some paragraphs but not others with no clues as
to why in the code.

How to keep the last slide image in the background during loading transition??

Does anyone have any good strategies for using the last slide as a static background image when one swf file transitions to another during the loading process? Basically, I'd like to keep the loading image ontop of the last slide during the transition.

Hallo! By applying page brake if it is a word at the end which has a syllable division the division line disappears so that I have an orthographic error: e.g. if the last word is "marketing" and is being devided:
Before: End of current page: marke-
Start of next page: ting.
After applying page brake:

I just purchased an external disk drive to store my pictures. I want to keep the last 12 months of pictures on my iMac and move the rest to the new external drive. As new pictures are added I want them to be put on the iMac internal drive. How?

As I take more pictures I want them to be put on the iMac internal drive. Every 3 to 6 months I would then move some additional pictures to the external drive. I am nuervous about losing any of the pictures and want to make sure I follow the proper procedure. What is the right way to handle this?

Here's one way to do what you want:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
Now you have two full versions of the Library.
3. On the Internal library, trash the Events you don't want there
Now you have a full copy of the Library on the External and a smaller subset on the Internal
Some Notes:
As a general rule: when deleting photos do them in batches of about 100 at a time. iPhoto can baulk at trashing large numbers at one go.
You can choose which Library to open: Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
You can keep the Library on the external updated with new imports using iPhoto Library Manager

How do I keep the Character panel open and why are my font examples fuzzy?

I am unable to keep the character panel open while editing text. The options will not open in the top tool bar next to color and stroke. The link to the character panel is in the top bar, however, I must click it each time to open. Problem 2, is that even after opening the character panel and opening the drop down box, the 2nd column of text, the column that shows the font examples, is blurry. I've been dealing with this for some time, but had a little extra time today to ask for help.
I am using a PC and using Illustrator in Creative Cloud 2014.1.1 Release, 18.1.1(64-bit).

Thank you for the reply. When I do Window > Type > Character still the palette opens up and I want it to actually be in the bar at the top. I just opened an ai document from one of their tutorials and the characters are now open on top. The dropdown is still wonky.
The left side is very sharp, the right side is fuzzy.

How to keep a "front panel" open during another sequence?

I'm new on the TestStand forum and I have a question for my project.
I need to make a test sequence with several sub-steps: Barcode reading, Data reading, Data analysis etc... and all these steps in a "For" or "Do... while" loop under TestStand.
Before doing the loop, I want to create a "global HMI" step using labview, with on the front panel, the status of each sub-steps. I need to update the status of each sub-step after their execution.
The sequence TS is:
Step Action Labview: HMI.vi (display front panel when calling vi)
Loop for
Barcode reading
Data reading
Data analysis...
That's why I need to keep the front panel of "HMI.vi" always open to updated /display the status of each sub-step. (something like colors of a LED). I doner 't want to call the HMI.vi after each sub-step.
I understood it's a multi-threading process and the reference of HMI.vi should always be active during all the "for loop", but I don't how to keepthe reference.
Could you please kindly show me how to do it under TestStand (verstion 4.1) with LV (7.1).

Hi zuzu,
A UIMessage is typically used as a method to alert and pass information from your sequence or code modules to the User Interface.
For a good discussion on this, refer to the section titled "Communication from the Test to the User Interface" here:

However, you can register a callback to listen for these UIMessages in other parts of your code besides the UI as well. That's what we are doing in this case with the floating panel.
So basically, in your "Update HMI" step, you would post a UIMessage using RunState.Thread.PostUIMessage.
This posts the UIMessage, and you can pass whatever value you want from the "Update HMI" step to the HMI.vi.
For information on the function call, refer to:

In this case, we are sending a UIMessage with message code 10200, along with 2 pieces of data, Locals.Progress (a numeric) and "TestProcedure" (a string).
Typically, you can pass a Number, a String, a Boolean and a Variant with each UI Message. If you need to send multiple pieces of data of the same type (your second question), then you should bundle them together into an array or cluster (container) and pass it via the ActiveX parameter.

[Solved] Keep the last button pressed with a custom style

Hello,
I have a VBox with 20 buttons and I have this style applied (menu.css) (only for VBox wrapper):
.button:focused {
    -fx-background-color: #0768A9;
    -fx-text-fill: #FFFFFF;
But when I pressed other button outside the VBox the style disappears, because the other button get the focus.
I'm afraid I'm taking the wrong way.
How I can do to keep the last button pressed with a custom style? (Only for buttons containing the VBox).

I created a simple method to change background colors in buttons:

thanks a lot for the suggestions, here is the attached code... please follow the following steps to run it..
ONce you hit play,press either Start Main/Cyl UP button on the front panel,
once you start observing the waveforms, you can press the Cyl_Dwn button on the front panel... You can observe that the state changes to Start Counter state,
and the waveform chart also stops updating... I would like both the waveform charts to conitnuously show the data even if the state is changed....

How to keep the watch to display without press the button on my iPod Nano 6th)?

I have purchased a watchband for my ipod nano 6th recently, overall is okay but i don't know how to keep the watch to display without pressing the sleep/resume button on edge? Also, the screen is not showing the watch immeditaly when I press the button, it shows the music/cd folder, then I need to scroll the screen back to the watch display. Please help.

There is no way to keep the display on permanently, as doing so would significantly reduce the overall life of the battery. It would maybe last only hour, maybe not even.
As for having your iPod wake up to the watch view, head to Settings -> General -> Time on Wake -> On.
