Spry data set not displaying data in IE8
Ok probably sounds familiar to some of you - but I cant seem to get it to display the data in IE8 after everyone's suggestions on the Spry forum. When I load the page in FireFox it works, IE8 and Opera it doesn't. I am running CS5 and it looks fine in the preview pane...I have tried changing the name of the class, checked my internet settings for javascript, removing "caption" from the table, does anyone have any other suggestions?
I am having a similiar problem - I have Spry prerelease 1.6.1 and use Adobe Dreamweaver CS4
I have no problems viewing my sprybar on the left in Chrome, Firefox, and some versions of IE (or compatibility mode even)

I have inserted a spry data set based on an HTML table onto my page. The data displays in live view and in Safari, but when I try to preview in IE8 I get nothing. Here's the page:

Not sure what happened there. I was changing and deleting the spry data set so many times that I must have put the file up after I had deleted it. In any case, I put the correct file up. And a funny thing happened. The page works online but it won't work in browser preview. Any ideas?

Spry Data Set not display in chrome
I create a new spry Xml data set using adobe sample. I using Spry 1.6.1, Chrome 7.0.517.41 on windows 7. I test this in mozilla and firefox works fine, but chrome doesn't shows the data.

Nested Objects for a Data Provider in a Data Grid, not displaying data
Hi, I have a datagrid and the dataprovider for this grid is the result of a RPC call. The result set has the following structure:
Array
[0]->Object #1
[one] => 1
[two] => 1
[three] => Object #2
[apple1] = > Object #3
[color] => red
[rate] => 20
[apple2] => Object #4 ( the number of apples is dynamic, apple3,apple4 .. and so on)
[color] => blue
[rate] => 100
and so on ... so the number of apple objects will vary since its
dynamic. How do I display this data in a datagrid ??? Please help!! I

it helps, but the problem with my data is that some of the indexes (like apple1,apple2 etc) are dynamic.
Also, my flex application is a desktop application (in case that matters). Just to see whats going on, I
dropped all the nested arrays and used a plain simple one-dimensional array. Even in this case the data
isnt getting displayed.
I dont know what im doin wrong. the datafields, labels etc e'thing is correct. I even debugged and
im getting the result on the flex side. whats going on ?No luck ... i converted the result set to a List, and even tried with an iList. Same problem - nothing gets displayed...

Numeric data is not displayed in BI Publisher 11g report
Hi,
I'm using Oracle BI 11g (11.1.1.6.0).
I'm experiencing a serious issue with numeric data in reports created with Publisher.
When I define the query in the data model, numeric data gets declared as "integer" (even if it should be "double"). Anyway, when creating the layout all data is correctly shown.
The issue emerges when I run the report in interactive mode: numeric data is not displayed at all.
If I run it in HTML mode or other, I get proper results.
I tried to explicitly CAST numeric data in the query to number(21, 6) but I get no different result.
Any help or suggestion is warmly welcome.

Hi Experts,
Issue: Report not displaying data from one of the infoproviders
I have a report 'ReportA' which has multiprovider MP1 as the source.
MP1 has two Infocubes IC1, IC2 in its design.
Now, when i execute the report, data from IC1 is displayed. But no data from IC2 is displayed.
Is there a setting i need to enable in MP1 ? or is there anything else that needs to be enabled ?

When i display data directly from the multi provider, without any restrictions, i cannot view the data from infocube IC2.
I feel its not an issue with the Query. It must be a problem with the setting in the Multiprovider MP1.
Infocube IC2 is a copy of Infocube IC1. Multiprovider MP1 first only had IC1 in its design. It was recently IC2 was also included.
I checked the Characteristics, all of them are assigned corectly.
Now, this issue sure has something to do wiht the setting of Multiprovider or please correct me if wrong.

as mentioned in earlier post ,you need to have your system unicode enabled,
check in menu -> system->status...in your BW system field called unicode system
Also try running program program RSCPINST - which is used to set the language setting to load the data.
if the chain language setting is not maintianed for loading :
click on Add button ->Key :KO and Language :korean->save it
try to load the data again and check it

Yes after making that particular attribute as a navigational attribute I loaded data in master data tables.

I have a crystal XI report that when run will not display data; if the report should be six pages that is the number of pages that will be generated. The problem is that the pages show up as blank. If the blank pages are exported the exported file will contain data, if the report is sent to a printer the report will contain data, but no data is ever displayed on the screen. This report has been loaded on 15 other computer and runs perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way if this user logs in remotely and runs this report it will display data.
A few ideas;

XML has data but PDF is not displaying data
Hi Gurus,
I have one report with excel and pdf out put .
excel is working fine but pdf is not displaying data showing blank page . both out puts are using same XML.
Intresting thing is if I open RTF from bi publisher desktop and load XML data then i can see all the records.
but The same RTF is not showing data from Report.
I don't know what is the wrong with RTF.
I am attaching RTF and XML. could you please go through it and help me ?

When we run the FLEET transaction in SQ00, system is not displaying data. If I enter the same values in selection in quality system, I am able to see. But with the same values is not storing in production, the output tale is not getting values.
Can any one provide the solution...?

Hello BW experts,
I am having an issue where in my query is not displaying data even though there is data in the cube in production.
But the same query is displaying data for the same selection in QA system.

Check the filters of your query, Is there any selection made where you are going to get only march data which is present in your production system.
Check the info cube data by giving the same filter values as in the query definitation. If you didnt find any data, then your query is working fine.
check this and let me know...
if you find some data in the cube with the same filter selection, then give me the data flow of your query, which means, whether the query is executed on Multiprovider or cube?

Data set not visible in MS Office Word
Hi,
I created a new data set based on an BI Analysis for a report in BI Publisher.
When I try to edit the report layout in MS Office Word I can't see the new data set in the Data Source list.
Tried restarting the services, and it didn't help.
This happens only for some reports. For others the data sets are automatically updated and visible in Word.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

It would also help to see both the logical and physical ds and their schemas. Just zip and post the whole dsp project if possible. -

I had a requirement for the Query, when we executing the through slection screen we will be giving 0fiscyear "from and to" dates. the "Valid to" (0date) has to check the relation of the Client partner and contract of relationship, if it is within the current date it should dipslay the report with values , if it is out of current date, it should display in the report as "null".
Logic : This report is based on the u201CClient Partneru201D and the u201CContact ofu201D relationship. If any of these relationships have a u201CValid Tou201D
date set before the date that the report is run u2013 print u201Cnullu201D.
Could anyone of you provide the inputs on this.

For your Dock problem,
Go to your Finder "Go" menu choose "Go to Folder" and enter ~/Library/Preferences. Then delete these files then restart or log out and back in.
