Spry Submenu Not Inline With Vertical Menu in Internet Explorer

Please could someone help with advice on my website. The spry
vertical submenu lines up okay in Safari and Firefox but in
Internet Explorer my submenus are shown higher than the the
vertical menu item they link to. I have tried changing all that I
can to find a solution but nothing works. Have a look at
www.jadedlusion.com/Home.html. I have attached my code.

Firefox w/ not open forms from websites. Internet Explorer had no problem. Re-installed FF with no resolution.

I also have this problem. I cannot open links from a discussion board I frequent nor can I open links from my email. Also after opening my email, I cannot go to any other sites except my home page. I can then go no where else.
When I close Firefox and try to reopen it, it does nothing! I have to bring up the Task Manager and end the Firefox process before I can get back in.

A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer (IE9) to close and reopen the tab

I have IE9 (using 32-bit version) installed on a relatively new laptop with Windows 7 64-bit. Up until last weekend IE9 worked fine and Flash Player worked fine too.
At the weekend a webpage asked for Flash Player to be updated - which I did. Ever since then whenever I go to a webpage needing Flash Player I get the message "A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab". This happens twice and then an IE9 error page.
I have read the discussions in here about the problems with Flash Player 10.3 and have tried the various solutions. I have updated to 10.3.181.16 having tried 15 and 14 previously. Same problem.
I have reset IE9. Same problem.
I have disabled all add-ons which stops the problem. If I enable just the Flash Player add-on then the problem recurs. Since there are so many webpages that use Flash I do not want to run my browser without this add-on running.
If I enable the add-on and run IE9 using software rendering instead of GPU rendering then I don't get the problem. However, this isn't exactly making the best use of the resources on my laptop.
This may well all be related to the 10.3 problems but no one seems to have mentioned having a problem with tabs closing and reopening so I thought I would post on here to check.
Any suggestions for how to solve this (other than using software rendering)?

I think, however, you misunderstand the problem. IE9 does not reopen the tabs on just one website - it is doing this on every website that needs Flash Player. Therefore, running in Compatibility mode is not an option. In fact, because IE9 reopens the tabs so quickly and then ends up with an error page, I cannot even click the Compatibility button anyway.
I could use ActiveX filtering - true. All that this means is that Flash does not play on any of the websites. When I want to re-enable ActiveX for a particular website where I need to see the Flash Player item, this just triggers the error.
This problem also happened on .14, .15 and well as the current .16 version. It did not happen with the previous version of Flash Player that I had on the system (version 10.2 I think).
The fact is that either Flash Player or IE9 or both is/are broken. The two choices I am still left with are:
1. Use software rendering (which contradicts the latest advertisements for IE9 about unleashing the power of IE)
2. Use another browser - I have no problems with either Firefox or Chrome

Microsoft Update KB2670838 will not allow PDFs to display in Internet Explorer 11 and 10

When upgrading to Internet Explorer 11/10 in Windows 7 Enterprise, there is an update KB2670838. It halts the operations of PDF's into the browser, instead it throws up a blank page with a small box thats crossed and it wont let them show up in Adobe Acrobat/Reader.This update is a requirement for Internet Explorer 11 to install and while wed love to get on the latest version, we just cant with this problem. Internet Explorer 9 displays PDFs in broswer just fine.
We have tried in Adobe to make it so it will not display in broswer by unchecking that option, but it still does not display. reading up on it there is a registry hack that helps alivate this but it is only for Windows 8/8.1.
Any tips/solutions/Help for this would be appreciated for this.

The solution is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2716529 but as you write, the "fixit" is only for Windows 8.
To apply it on Windows 7, download, unzip, then run the attached registry script.

After a crash and update firefox will not connect to any webpages. Internet explorer is working fine. What's going on?

Firefox crashed. Closed all my windows - did the auto update thingy with accompanying message. Brought up the windows that had closed as usual - all said "problem loading page". Spry submenu not displaying in IE

I just finished designing my first site with dreamweave, and am having some problems.I have read some threads and found the advice helpful to my situation, but still have a problem.
My spry menu was not displaying in Internet Explorer when activex is was enabled. I fixed part of the problem; the main Vertical Spry menu displays, but the submenu (for services) and the background rollover are different than what I intended (and what they are in Firefox). Can someone point me in the right direction? I'll upload my vertical .ccs and .js files, please let me know if you need more.

I've played around with this for a while, but I think there is something in your SpryMenuBar.js file that is not working; or, it is not uploaded to the server.
Additionally, this declaration:

I recommend that you delete this SpryMenuBarVertical and all its associated files and insert it again. If you want to change things in the CSS files, do so carefully (and in the appropriate sections...layout in layout; color and fonts in their own section).
By redoing, your submenu indicators will resume having the correct path (in your file, they are misnamed and improperly pathed), all your javascript and css files will be properly linked, etc.

How to position spry submenu items ABOVE main horizontal menu

I am building a site for a new client. (Using DW CS4) I have
inserted a navigation bar using the spry nav widget, which I am
familiar with. However, what I am NOT familiar with is the
positioning of the submenu items. Normally, the default is fine.
However, where the bar is located - the client wants the
submenus to display above the main menu bar.
How do I accomplish this? I understand it will be in the CSS
somewhere, but unsure of as to where (and what) changes.

Hi, I am new to spry and this is my first menu.

It is loading at the top of the page instead of under it's
parent tab in the horizontal menu.
It is working great under FF and Safari. *links removed

couldn't get it to work in the css. Probably user error.
I found out if I fiddled with the margin numbers of the
following css code that I could get the submenu to drop to it's
spot in IE, but then it would also drop in FF too. What a pain. My
menu is in a table if that makes any difference.

I had the same problem and finally just gave up on the Spry
menu and went with a license from Milonic.com.

I am having problems with my Spry menu (produced with Dreamweaver CS5). The submenus only appear in IE in compatibility mode and not at all in Chrome or Firefox. The site is at http://www.vectors-meeting.eu and there should be additional items under programme and travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
