  • Opening specific Spry tabbed panels not working or displaying in IE

    I have a tabbed panel spry widget on an asp page in Dreawmweaver (http://www.herbsmithinc.com/casedog.asp) that worked marverously across IE, Firefox and Safari until I tried to get different panels to open on load through links.  I used the following tutorial: http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/spry_url_utils.php
    Everything works as it should in Firefox and Safari but the panels all appear at once, stacked down the page in IE. Does anyone have a fix for this or see what it is I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks!!

    I added the code, but It didn't work
    I just noticed that there's an error on the page when it loads in IE:

  • Spry Tabbed Panels - not correct in IE but correct in Chrome and MF

    Hi,
    I'm having problems with an extension I used for a client, so I want to use the Spry tabbed panels form dreamweaver, but they in IE8 it puts all the content under each other in the first tab ??
    In Chrome and MF its correct. Do you know about this problem or is it because I did something wrong?
    see: www.zorgfilosofie.nl/index2
    The other pages where made with an extension but with that script my client can't edit with contribute. That's why I want to implement Dreamweaver Spry Tabbed Panels.
    Thanks for answering!
    Carla

    Hello there from down under J
    Het was mooi weer, maar vandaag regent het.
    Toch zijn hier in deze kamer veel zonnestralen, want het probleem is opgelost!
    I searched the whole evening for alternative but it did’t work with templates.
    With the js files the problem is solved.
    I don’t understand why the js file was not correct, because I just bought CS5.5
    Where do I have to put de file so the problem will not happen again when I make another site?
    Thanks a lot!
    Best regards and take some sun with you!

  • Spry tabbed panel not displaying correctly in IE , in other browsers it is fine, what is the fix

    Spry tabbed panel not displaying correctly in IE , in other browsers it is fine, what is the fix

    As an FYI: Adobe discontinued developing the Spry framework last year.  And Spry was removed from DW CC.  You can keep using Spry if you wish, but most of us have switched to other solutions that work better in IE10 and Touch Screens.

  • Spry tabbed panels not opening in IE on Vista

    Link:

    Story
    page
    Spry tabbed panels on these pages display fine in Firefox and
    Safari.
    But in IE on two separate Vista-running PCs, everything
    except the tabs themselves loads, until you click refresh one or
    more times. Both PCs were on broadband connections and I checked
    each PC several times just to make sure it wasn't just an
    intermittent connection.
    Way to fix this for IE? As far as my client is concerned,
    it's a bug.

    Dear all, thanks for your replies.
    I have tried Barascu Diana's fix to both pages linked at the
    top, but am presently unable to test it on IE6. Anyone able to see
    if those tabs are now appearing?
    <DIV class="TabbedPanel" id="TabbedPanels1" style
    ="position:relative">
    (Hope I did this right?)
    I also temporarily tried kinblas' fix, but removing relative
    positioning there caused the tabs to hover over to the left of the
    page.

  • Spry tabbed panels not selectable and displaying everything

    I have a spry tabbed panel with 2 tabs.
    In design view, this correctly shows me the contect of each of the tabs (a different table in each) when I click on the tab.
    When I run it in live view or the browser however, it displays both tabs TOGETHER, (i.e both table) and I can't select either of the tabs.
    I've attached a screen print.
    I've tried creating a brand new page with a new tabbed panel and still get the same result.
    Any suggestions.

    Here you go,
    This is just a template with a few headers and nothing much else, plus the blank tabbed panel, I did this just to test out the panel.

  • Spry Sliding Panels not working in IE

    I've been working for about 12 hours straight on getting this
    working correctly - my Sliding Panels just aren't working at all in
    IE. The panels load properly - for example, you can see only the
    first loaded panel, not all of them - but when I click a link to
    switch to the next, nothing happens. Firebug is reporting no
    errors, and neither is IE. Here is the relevant code:
    <head><script type="text/javascript"
    src="SpryAssets/SprySlidingPanels.js"></script>
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
    href="SpryAssets/SprySlidingPanels.css"></head>
    <div id="mainContent">
    <div id="panelwidget" class="SlidingPanels">
    <div class="SlidingPanelsContentGroup">
    <div class="SlidingPanelsContent" id="main">Main
    Content<br /><a href="images/news.png" rel="lytebox"
    title="Omgtest!"><img src="images/news.png"
    /></a><br /> <a href="javascript:void(0);"
    onclick="sp1.showPanel('series');">TEST</a></div>
    <div class="SlidingPanelsContent" id="series">Series
    and Models</div>
    <div class="SlidingPanelsContent" id="about">About and
    Bio</div>
    </div>
    </div>
    <script type="text/javascript">var sp1 = new
    Spry.Widget.SlidingPanels("panelwidget");</script>
    </div>
    The following might be somewhat related: I am using the
    Lytebox javascript library, which is a Lightbox clone (that doesn't
    use prototype), as well as a preloader for my mouseover nav bar,
    with this code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function init() {
    MM_preloadImages('images/menu/main_click-trans.png','images/menu/main_hover-trans.png','i mages/menu/series_click-trans.png',
    'images/menu/series_hover-trans.png','images/menu/about_click-trans.png','images/menu/abo ut_hover-trans.png');}
    </script>
    My nav bar links to the panels like this:
    onclick="MM_nbGroup('down','group1','Main','images/menu/main_click-trans.png',1);
    sp1.showPanel('main'); return false"
    However, a plaintext link inside of the first panel - "<a
    href="javascript:void(0);"
    onclick="sp1.showPanel('series');">TEST</a>" - does not
    work either.
    Just for fun I thought I would try adding min-height:0; zoom:
    1; to the CSS classes for slidingpanels.... no dice there as well.
    URL is

    Any ideas? I am at a complete loss. Thanks.

    Thanks for your help :] I ended up realizing that a huge
    bloated js navbar wasn't all that great of an idea anyway, so I
    scrapped it and used a CSS-based one instead...much cleaner and
    works better (no preloading! woohoo.) It looks like the problem was
    probably an amalgamation of many things, but it's resolved now.

  • Spry Tab Navigation not working in IE

    I have created a couple of test pages to highlight what happens and the issue I have.
    ONE: http://www.netballzone.com.au/aeasphase1handover/testCentresml.html   - navigation to specific tabs doesn't work in IE7 or 8 and all tabs content is displayed in one page and no tab navigation options available.
    TWO: http://www.netballzone.com.au/aeasphase1handover/testCentresml2.html - no way to navigate to get to specific tabs that works in IE7 or 8.
    In Webkit and Firefox all is well and the two examples show the same thing.
    The main requirements I have is to be able to navigate to specific tabs from outside of the page. I have looked at various related topics but cannot see a solution that works for me and Option ONE seems to be the closest I can find.
    As soon as I included the error I get in ONE above.

  • Why is my Spry Collapsible Panel not working in IE

    I have created a very very simple website, in dutch (i'm dutch). http://www.dgvastgoed.nl
    And on the 'projecten' (dutch word for projects) page i've made some collapsible panels.
    The picture is only showing when you click on the text once, when you click again the picture disappears, that's what i want.
    But in Internet Explorer it always shows, and that's not what i want.
    How do I get this right in Internet explorer?
    (if it's possible a second question: How do i get on the 'werkzaamheden' page the 3 links in the top left corner on the position like they are in safari and firefox.)

    It lookslike you fixed it, it works fine in IE7 and 8

  • Spry tabbed pannels not working on iexplore 9 firefox 5 and others

    Hi I have this website http://www.vlahell.com/vph and does not displays correct on many web browsers. Sometimes the last block goes down.
    On Internet Explorer 6 , 7, 8 it's ok but on version 9 none.
    Also Firefox 5  , 7 not good but on firefox 8 it's ok. Anything obscure going on here?
    Also if possible the validator says tabindex does not exist; and the blue container at the bottom is unable to move to the left, even using the negative margin.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sincerely Vladimir Orona
    CEO http://www.vlahell.com

    You pointed in the right direction. I Changed the width, so now looks very close to each other; the container moved to the right, then I removed the border and now it's pretty equal on different navigators.
    Still bugs on iexplore 9, but it's minimal. Offset of 5px, but It's ok.
    Thanks

  • Calling a spry tabbed panel

    Hello, my situation:
    I created a livesearch (like the gmail address search) which
    echo's into a div. I use an onclick to call another JS file which
    echo's a page called product.php into the div.
    The spry tabbed panels are placed on the product.php page.
    The problem is that the spry js file is ignored by AJAX. This
    causes the tabbed panels not work. Do you know a way around?

    You can do that there is a sample to look at, click the
    Widgets tab and then the Tabbed panels from spry data link
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/
