SPUM Font Setting : Cyrillic,Central European ???

Hello ,
We have already running various scan using SPUM Tool.
We are using various Codepage Language in system , What is the font script needs to be set Cyrillic,Central European in my Gui?
We are using both Cyrillic,Central European in our system and it causing the confusion for the analyzing the words and Language.

please have a look at the Unicode Conversion Guide:
2.3.4.5 Manually Assign Language
"Especially for Asian Languages, it is essential that users log on with the correct language "
Therefore if the users have followed the mandatory MDMP rules (logon with the correct language when maintaining local data - see also SAP note 73606 with attachment), then it should be possible to identify the words in SPUMG or SPUM4 with the correct logon language as well. The according font will be set automatically in this case.

which basically says that new_time supports only a limited set of time zones (USA only + GMT.) CET is not one of them and

Central European Languages in id3-t

Is there any way how to display Central European Languages (Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hungarian) in id3-tags in Creative MuVu TX player correctly? As I see... [Creative MediaSource Organizer -> Settings -> Language] this is only possible for Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian language.
Note: I have already installed the latest version of Creative MediaSource Organizer (2.03.29).

Default Japanese font setting in Linux

Hi,
I'm using flashplayer in Debian/Ubuntu, and default Japanese font setting in flash is kind of crap...
It seems that Kochi font should be installed. Kochi (東風) font is very old and it is not used so much
as 10 years ago Now Linux users use VLGothic or IPAGothic as Japanese font by default.
My question is,
- How users can change default font setting?
- Where/who is the contact address for this issiue?
#I'm also maintainer for most of Japanese font packages in Debian/Ubuntu. In my opinion, Kochi
should be dropped in near future (see package description)

I am looking for the below information. If anyone could help provide would be great!
INFORMATION NEEDED: Approach to converting database character set from Western European to Unicode for source systems with large data exceptions
DETAIL: We are looking to convert Oracle EBS database character set from Western European to Unicode to support Kanji characters. Our scan results show
both “lossy (110K approx.)” and “truncation (26K approx.)” exceptions in the database which needs to be fixed before the database is converted to Unicode.
Oracle Support has suggested to fix all open and closed transactions in the source Production instance using forms and scripts.
We’re looking for information/creative approaches who have performed similar exercises without having to manipulate data in the source instance.
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated!

There are two aspects here:
1. Why do you have such large number of lossy characters? Is this data coming from some very old eBS release, i.e. from before the times of the Java applet interface to Oracle Forms? Have you analyzed the nature of this lossy data?
2. There is no easy way around truncation issues as you cannot modify eBS metadata (make columns wider). You must shorten or remove the data manually through the documented eBS interfaces. eBS does not support direct manipulation of data in the database due to complex consistency rules enforced by the application itself (e.g. forms).

Use of Font Sets in CHM Navigation Pane

Hi everyone.
One of our product suites is going to be published for the first time using WebHelp Pro as its primary output but with a CHM file as a backup in case the client's internet connection fails or isn't present.
To cut a long story short we have setup a font set to use with our Webhelp Pro output that allows for both Windows and Apple Mac fonts. We have applied this to all our styles and are looking at other places where it can be used (e.g. skins). One of these is the Navigation Pane to be used in the CHM file. It seems like you can not use a font set when defining the font characteristics of the TOC and Index in the Advanced options of the Microsoft HTML Help single source layout.
I know this is not really a problem as CHM files are only designed to be run on Windows PCs and the Windows fonts we are using as part of the font set are 99.9% percent likely to be installed. However I am more interested in how the fonts inside the navigation pane works. The fact that you can't specify a font set (i've checked this in RH8 and RHX5) would seem to indicate that the font setting is part of the compiled file, rendering a font set unnecessary in this instance. Either that or it is an oversight.

I stand to be corrected on this. Perhaps Pete Lees will pop in to confirm or deny.
I don't believe Font Sets are even necessary for .CHM files. As they are Windows only, I'm not sure Microsoft saw any need to provide for using them.

Font setting in HTML Conversion Settings not honoured by acrobat

Hi,
I have Helvetica LT Std font family minstalled on my PC.
In Acrobat 9, when I go to Create PDF --> From Web page --> Settings --> Settings (File Type : HTML), I select Body text font as "Helvetica LT Std" and size as 14.
Now when I try to print any html page (E.g. http://infolab.stanford.edu/~ullman/fcdb/oracle/or-proc.html) to pdf, everything is appearing in Tahoma (eeks!!).
Why is no Acrobat taking the Body font text font setting that I had specified?
Please help ....

You might try the preferences in your browser (as I understand your question). Mine has selections for default fonts and a selection of overriding the HTML document fonts (at least as I read the preferences). For some reason, Tacoma has become the default for MS products from what I have seen. I can't find a font button in IE, but there may be one. As you might expect, IE is far from my first choice of browser.

ABout printer setting(SPAD) , especially Font setting.

There is difference between "Host Spool Access Method :F " and "Host Spool Access Method :S ".
Concretly, when I use "Method:F", it is printed by "Mincho".
But I use "Method:S", it is printed by Gothic.
Method:F use Device Type "JPSAPWIN".
Othewise Method:S use Device Type "JPESCPAG".
I doubt that SPAD's setting effect!
But I can't understand.
I want to set "Gothic" font when I use Method:S.
Please tell me , how to customize.

Go to T-code NACE
Select application EF-Purchase order
Go to output type select NEU as your output
Go to details tab and remove the multiple issuing tick.
This will avoid priting of purchase order when you make changes in purchase order.
Still, if you want you can then take print manually.

As you have "allowed" iOS 7 users to be able to use their previous ringtones under the "classic" setting, PLEASE also "allow" iOS 7 users to be able to choose the "original" more sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing look of the previous iOS 6 and before. This would greatly, if not entirely, eliminate negative feedback of the iOS 7 "Dinky-Dob" look.

I was rubbing my keys and screwed up my font setting. i don't know how to reset the font to original mozilla setting

i was rubbing my laptop keys. i must have hit the right key sequence to change the font setting. i don't know how to reset the font. i was in mozilla at the time, so only it was affected. IE still uses the correct webpage fonts. IE has a reset on their browser, does firefox?

Have you tried closing Firefox and visiting the site again without restoring your session? This will bypass any temporary changes.
If the problem is the font size, you can reset the zoom level:
View menu > Zoom > Reset
If you have the orange Firefox button, tap the Alt key or press F10 to display the classic menu bar where you will find the View menu.
If that doesn't help, can you describe what's different in more detail?

Portugal is inaccurately listed as being in the Central European timezone

After upgrading from 10.5 to 10.6, I noticed in iCal (with time zone support enabled) that Portugal is listed as being in the Central European time zone. That's not accurate: Portugal is in the Western European time zone.

SApScript- Custom Font setting ignored by the system default setting

I have an issue related SapScript - Font Setting. Whatever Custom setting i am giving to the text written in the text-element of the Page window inside the form through paragraph or charater format e.g.
Font Family: Times Font Size - 12 Bold: - on . Is displaying as it is in the page window . But when I test the form for print layout through :- Utilities -> Printing Test. All my given custom setting is override by the system default setting in the print preview of the form.
Is there any idea or clue how to solve this isssue?
I am using the SAP 4.7 EE IDES.

HT203175 My ITunes software on my Dell computer is not displaying the menu items or the windows content of my music. The menus are active, but you cannot see the choices. I suspect a missing font set. Any suggestions before I trash the whole environmen

Loading the last two versions of the ITunes software to my Dell computer has produced unacceptable results. None of the pull down menus are showing the menu choices and none of the content on my IPod Touch shows up in the appropriate window. As a result, I have an interface with no functionality. It does still sync my Touch but that is all. I assume a missing font set. Any suggestions on how to correct these issues.
I also now get a message that ITunes cannot play back anything on my computer and a request to reinstall the software - which I have done multiple times both the original and the upgrade.

I'm not sure if it charged when I hooked it up to my roommate's computer, but it definately didn't register either. If I put it on the dock it plays so the port is fine, but that still doesn't help me sync it to my computer.

Hello, indeed, as Semaphoric stated, the Em box is not the same as the Cap heigh...

How do you change the font setting? I know how to do that on a case-by-case basis, but that's only temporary. I want the change to be until I decide to change it again.

Permanent in Messages
Set Background Colour to Other and then choose Font and it's colour for the Text.
For Temp stuff during a Chat.
I.e use the Format Menu > Show Fonts and Show Colours.
The Mail > Format Menu and the Mail Menu > Preferences > Fonts and Colours do the same temp and permanent jobs in Mail.
