SPWorkflow.Created date is two hours off actual server time?

Hi,
I have a list with a workflow that starts on item created.
Can anyone tell me why the readonly field: SPWorkflow.Created (and SPWorkflow.Modified) -is exactly two hours off the actual server time? In my case WF created at 11:00 hours, the new workflow created time is 09:00 hours?

Central admin Regional Settings are the correct timezone - and the clock on both the web server and the SQL server are syncronized!?

IPhone calendar sync two hours off from iCal - Can I fix?

I purchased an iPhone 3G today, this is my second one. Since my last phone, I now have a new MacBook Pro with iCal.
When I performed the Sync today, everything was fine except for the times in Calendar, which were two hours later on iPhone. The time zones were the problem, as the iPhone was set to Cupertino (Pacific) and the computer was set to Memphis (correct zone).
Now, I have corrected the time zones on both and I have performed a new Sync and checked the box to replace information from the calendars on the iPhone with the information from iCal.
However, the times are still off.
1. Can I fix this issue?
2. Can I delete the iPhone calendar entries as a whole and start over and re-Sync?

How can I get a date without the hour from sql server 2000 ?

I have a JTable, and one of it's columns has to show a date. This date i have to show is specified as datetime on the Sql Server 2000 database where I have to take the data.
the query of the dataset attached to the JTable is something like "select * from Table".
The problem is that the JTable column that displays the date shows the date and the hour, for example:
7/10/04 0:00:00
and I need to show the date without the hour, only the 7/10/04. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

The easiest way to format a date is with java.text.SimpleDateFormat. When creating it you pass a format string which can be used to parse or format date objects.

HT204368 I have a blueant Q2 bluetooth. Previously I had a Plantronics, and a Jawbone. All three headsets use up the battery in 4 to 5 1/2 hours. Actual talk time only about 5 to 10 minutes maximum. What might cause this.

My bluetooth battery dies in approx. 4 - 5 hours. it's supposed to have 5 hrs talk time, 100 hrs. standby. At the time it dies I've only used about 5 -10 minutes of actual talk time. This is the 3rd bluetooth that has done this. I could use some help here. Thanks.

I don't have the same problem as you but I know how to conserve energy battery. Don't pay $49 extra service as it is a waste of money. They don't do much and most likely at last they will tell you to contact your carrier and worst of all you need to send in your phone to have it check out. It is a waste of time and they will give you a temporarily use phone that may not be a smartphone and worst of all you have to a fee and a deposit to use the temporarily phone. It is not fair. Don't you agree that the Carrier and Blackberry should pay for the issues? Why does the customer have to pay for it? It is not fair and there is no logic to it. the $49 is just for Blackberry to make more money to increase their bottom line in my opinion. What ever the reason it is, it just does not feel right for the customer to absorb the cost. Afterall, the customer did not cause the problem. Right? Then, why does the customer have to pay for an issue, which customer did not cause? why and why? It all comes down to one logical conclusion. Blackberry is not act on the Customer's best interest. To me, it seems like th bottom line and profits are more important than the customer needs. WRONG WRONG WRONG AND WRONG BELIEVE. Without the CUSTOMER, there is no BLACKBERRY. It is that simple.
Here is how:
1) Don't over charge the phone. Once the phone charge. Unplugg the the charger and let the battery drain until the last bar in yellow shows.
2) watching too much videos drain the battery. Be aware of it
3) Turn off all application you don't use, Facebook, Linked in for example. Just sign out.
4) Change the display intensity to minimum
5) vibration mode and call sound drains the battery quickly. Choose sound mode only.

Calendar dates synced one hour off

I exported the calendar/contact data from my Palm Pilot to my ICalendar on my Macbook. Then I synced the ICalendar to the Iphone. The result is that all my appointments show up on the Iphone one hour later than what they are supposed to be. I reset the Iphone and synced it again and the same problem showed up.

Thank you, this was the exact problem, as a friend of mine figured out last night. I have another problem now: I can't send email from my iphone. I checked the settings and they are the same, just as synced from the laptop. In addition, I closed the email on the laptop as I had learned previously that it does not allow them both to be open. Is the timezone correctly set up on the Mac?
Cause the time may be right, but if the Mac announces being in an incorrect timezone, the server at the other end may be adjusting to what it thinks is the "right" time.

Everytime I launch firefox 6.0.2 I get a message that my computer clock is more than 24 hours off. The time the message displays is the same as the clock and both are correct.

Nothing is new today except an adobe flash update was installed and I defragmented my computer.

"Latest Backup" time/date is incorrect for OS X Server Time Machine backups

I administer a OS X Server that provides Time Machine backups for clients across our small business network. I'm running Server on a Mac Mini (2.3 GHz i7 with 8GB RAM), and after going from Mavericks to Yosemite (and from Server 3 to Server 4) the other day, the TM backups are still running hourly, but the "Latest Backup" times are incorrect. Has anyone noticed this behavior? In case it matters, none of the clients currently being backed up are Yosemite clients. I mentioned this because for our older clients (10.6), the "Latest Backup" times/dates were always listed as "Unknown" in Server 3, and continue to be in Server 4. Thanks!

I also had to restart the server and client after applying the "fix" I described above. Basically, no user should have multiple, simultaneous file sharing sessions on the server. But even clearing the user sessions does not resolve the problem beyond the next Time Machine backup, so I also tried disabling and enabling file sharing, but the problem also returns after doing this. Only restarting both the client and server after clearing the sessions has worked for me when I have this problem. The problem may return much later, but this work aroudn definitely works as a temporary solution.
Next time I encounter this problem I will try restarting just the server or just the client, because it is unlikely that the problem exists due to something on both systems. Server 3.x is definitely not as stable as it should be, but for my use, it is getting the job done.

Acquiring streaming data from two sources

I�m trying to acquire data from two devices at the same time. I have written two sub VI�s where each one takes the data from one piece of equipment. The equipment is such that they are both constantly outputting data. I have been successful in running both of the sub VI�s separately at the same time. The trouble occurs when I try to put the sub VI�s together in a larger VI. When the two sub VI�s part of a larger VI, both cannot run at the same time. One of the sub VI�s tries to read from the serial port and is unable to get anything in response. Is there something I am missing as to why they can not be running at the same time?

It is possible that you are seeing the consequences of LabVIEW compiling code written in parallel. More specifically, if you have code in parallel (not connected by dataflow, but in the same block diagram) LabVIEW will split execution time between those parts of your code. Previously you were likely manually starting two separate programs, which inherently adds a delay between the start of the programs, allowing the first program to get sufficiently far in its execution; we could be seeing the consequence of this. It would help if you could be more specific about the details of your setup and code (such as 1. which instruments are connected to which ports? 2. are you writing a command to your instruments and then receiving data as a response? 3. do you rec
eive any errors? 4. if you do receive errors, which errors do you see and where in your code do you first see them?).
Repost with some more information (perhaps a screen shot or your code) and we can get a more definitive answer!

Data one hour off in VI Logger and can't use navigation bars

I believe after Daylight savings time in October my data appeared one hour behind in the Historical Data view in VI Logger. This would not be so big of a problem, but when I go to use the navigation tools to skip through the data or zoom in and zoom out, they do not work and the screen is always taken back to the original time (where there is no data because it is one hour behind.) My data is sampled at 50,000 samples/sec for about 1 minute, so it takes forever to scroll through the data at this sampling rate.
I tried re-setting the time in my Window's system, but this did not help.
Please help!!!

I would actually recommend referring to the related link on the bottom referring to Citadel Handling Daylight Savings Time. To workaround the Daylight Savings Time, 2 queries are made -- one prior to Daylight Savings Time and one after. Then the two queries are merged to get the entire range of data.

Workflows: How to set a workflow variable that is the difference in hours between now and a created date

I'm trying to create a variable that contains the number of hours between the item created date and Now. When i use TODAY, it seems to set the time at 12:00 rather than the time now - so that throws the hours off. Any ideas?

It seems to be not an OOB way to implement your requirement, to get the current time, you need to create a custom workflow activity for SharePoint 2010 workflow. About creating custom workflow activity, you can refer to the links below:

Preserving Actual "Created" Date on Import

I've scoured the web for an answer to this one. I'm truly desperate.
I have photos on several SD cards that I've previously imported into an iPhoto library. Because my HD space was low, I deleted the iPhoto library confident that I had the files on the SD cards.
Now when I try to import those files of the SD cards onto another Mac I own, the "Created Date" becomes the date of the import and not the date the file was created.
This happens in spite of the fact that when I open the SD card in a Finder window, the files have corresponding dates that are in fact the dates the files were originally created. So those dates are there, but they aren't coming along with the files when I import them.
Obviously I want to preserve that info in my iPhoto library so I can sort them AND know when the photo was taken.
Can one only import off an SD Card ONE time and get that actual created date?
I don't think I can see myself manually changing the date on 3,000+ files.
How can I import these files and preserve the actual date they were created in the iPhoto info?

When I "get info" on a photo off the Photos item in the menu. Or, if you highlight the photo in the iPhoto window and look at the window on the bottom lefthand side. Also, if I go to a Finder window and go to the iPhoto library and then Originals and look at the file date it has assumed the date of the import.

Firefox shows times of e-mails and other sites 3 hours off of actual time, how do I fix it?

My emails show timestamps as 3 hours later than their actual sent/received times. It never bothered me before but now I am in an online course and the times are the hours off on it as well, so If I were to finish my homework at 9:15pm it would say I completed it at 12:15pm, making the assignment late. I see no way for me to change the time on your software so I don't know how to fix this problem, help?

Firefox uses the time setting in the Operating System. Web apps usually display the time of their local server. You may be 3 time zones away from the server where you are submitting your homework, or two time zones and the offset for DST vs. standard time.
