SQ01 - Additional fields

Hi friends,
I generated new infotipo for personnel evaluation. Now when new infotipo i want to use it in trx. SQ01 to do query, the additional fields, are not seen. They are fields with description texts. How I can see those fields of infotipo?.

    You can add it in infoset using extra button.
    Here you can add the filed and the respective code for this field and add this in SQ01 in oytput list.

  • SQ01 Sap Query - additional fields doesn't appear

    Hi everybody,
    i've created a SAP Query with transaction SQ01 but one of my additional fields doesn't appear when i execute my Query.
    My query shows the G/L account number and the field status Group (table SKB1)
    I just need to display equally the text field of "field status Group" but it doesn't work.
    When i look at the parameters i can see that it makes the link between the table T004G and SKB1 in order to find the textfield but the field stay blank.
    For information T004g is a Pooled table.
    Is someone could help me?

    Hi,
    First you need to create a structure in Data Dictionary - SE11. This structure will contain all the fields that you want to display in the query output.
    Example - Name the Strucutre as zz_infoset01
    fields of the structure( for your requirement )
    BUKRS
    SAKNR
    FSTAG
    FSTTX
    Go to T-code SQ02
    1) Enter the Infoset name - zinfoset01 press create
    2) Enter a Short Description - G/L Infoset - 01
    3) select radio button - "Data retrieval by program"
                   and in "data structure" enter   zz_infoset01
    4) select "Integrated program" radio button
    5) In the next screen click on the "Data reading program" push button(on the application toolbar)
    6) An Editor will open with the following code
    REPORT  rsaqdvp_template .
      declarations
      (insert your declarations in this section)
    DATA:
      zz_infoset01                          TYPE zz_infoset01                          ,
      it_data TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF zz_infoset01 WITH HEADER LINE.

  • Additional field in infoset as string

    Hi,
    Is it possible to add an additional field in an Infoset with type string?
    When i'm creating it, I need to fill the definition of the field, with a certain type or with reference to some table field, but I'm not finding any suitable to here of type string. I always get an error "you must use a flat structure" or "you cannot use internal tables, strings, references, or structures as components".
    This means I cannot create an additional field as a string?

    I have just do that but there is no hided field . I haven't see the additional field  there already.
    I think it 'll more clear if  I tell about what am I doing step by step ;
    First , I created infoset in SQ01 with joinig tables LIKP -  LIPS .Then I added some additional field ; I collect different value from another table . Then I create field group called " ADD" in infoset and assigned additional fields that I created to "ADD " . Finally generate and saved infoset .
    Second , in RSO2 I create data source and joined with infoset . Then comes to selection filed screen .  Here was my problem ; there were no field that I added to infoset ,additional fields didn't appear
    Can I  explain it ?

  • Populating Additional Field in InfoSet Query

    Hello,
    My team and I are working on generating a relatively simple report from the VBAK (Sales Header), VBAP (Sales Items) and VEDA (Date data) tables.  We would prefer to be able to build an InfoSet (SQ02) and Query (SQ01) instead of writing a custom report.
    The problem is the VEDA table contains data that may link to the VBAK and sometimes the VBAP table.  The usage is that the header has begin and end dates for a contract, which is denoted by a blank value in POSNR field in the VEDA table.  If a particular line on a contract has different dates than the header, there will be an additional record in the VEDA table where the POSNR value matches the POSNR value from the VBAP (Item) record.
    The link to the VBAP table is straight forward being keyed off of the VBELN (doc number) and the POSNR (item number) fields in both tables.  However, there's isn't a POSNR field in the VBAK (header) table and the VEDA table shows this as a blank value in the POSNR field.
    The simplest thing I can think of doing is link the VEDA table to the VBAP and let it retrieve all the exact matches on Sales Doc & Item Number but add two "Additional Fields" to the Query that would represent the Sales Header begin and end dates.
    I know how to add an additional field but how would you "re-query" the VEDA table and under which option under the Code tab.

    Please see if below example helps you to understand:
    Supposing, we are displaying material description within our query.
    1. So we define the join with MARA & MAKT while creating infoset in transaction SQ02.
    2. We create feild groups to identify the fiels we use for selection and display.
    3. Here after selecting language key from MAKT, by default this will take SY-LANGU always for the case.
    4. To make it applicable for different languages we can code in INITIALIZATION Event.
    5. To do so we can do it by two options: Use menupath: Goto->Code->Initialization
    i) First option using variable: <b>MAKT-SPRAS = SY-LANGU.</b>.
    ii) Second option using Parameter-Id: <b>SET PARAMETER ID 'SPR' FIELD SY-LANGU</b>.
    6. Save & Generate.
    Now when we execute the query, we are defaulting the language as System Language.

    IN SQ02, IF table is already in JOIN, just click on the PLUS sign to expand the strcture.
    All the field showing Plus sign in the strcture are selected in your query and with MINUS sing are no selected.
    So you have to just click on the MINUS sign for the field you want to use through table field.
    Generate the query and execute thriugh SQ01.
    If you want to add some other field which is not a part of JOIN,
    then click on EXTRAS Button shown in the MENU option.
    Click on Create button and system will ask abt the additional field.

  • Adding additional fields to an Infoset Query

    Hi Experts,
    I have added a couple of additional fields to an infoset query using SQ02.
    I have also written code for filling in the fields.
    I have also added them to some Field Groups.
    Despite this, when I run the query, they are not being displayed in the output list.
    What could be the reason for this?

    give the query name...
    goto change.. just below output, you have a drop down for field group and field catalog. select field catalog.
    select the fields you want to show in output

    i have a report in sq 01 and i want to divide  two fields
    so i pick local field and try to do it..but result not correctly but addition and substraction working fine.

    I realize this post is very old, but the solution may help somebody else down the road.
    Within the infoset, the setting for "Fixed Point Arithmetic" must be turned on (checked).
    This is turned off by default when converting an SQVI into a Query within SQ00 or SQ01.
    To turn on "Fixed Point Arithmetic".  Go into infoset change mode in SQ02.  Click Goto in the menu path and then Global Properties.  Click on the setting for "Fixed Point Arithmetic" at the very bottom of the pop-up box.  Regenerate the infoset.

  • Bringing in Additional Fields into SAP Query

    I'm new to SAP Query. I had to modify an existing report to bring in an additional field from one of the tables of the query. When i look at the tables in query, i don't even see the field i would like to add under the table. I guess it needs to be first bring into query and later i can add.   • Infoset (coding in additional field added )

    I need some help regarding coding for the additional fields added to the infoset.
    As a data source I have selected a direct read from table MARA. I need to display the description in all languages for the material chosen on the selection screen when the Query is executed in sq01.
    I could have used a join between MARA and MAKT, but instead I have chosen to add an additional field
    with the head 'material description' and coded the select for the material description as per matnr in the coding section.
    The basic list display, only dislays one description, the last one and not all the possible descriptions in all languages.
    What should be the probable code and where should i place that code for such an implementation.
    Please suggest.

    In Quick Viewer, you cannot define local fields. You may convert (In SQ01->Query->Convert Quickview) SQVI Query into an SQ01 Query and then define local field.

    Hi all, I need to be able to report on the IT105 subtype 0001 system ID for employees who are withdrawn from the company, however, when someone leaves their IT105 record is delimited so adhoc query will not output anything.  Has anyone coded an additional field that will look at the latest record regardless of the date?

    Please write your code in the subroutine %comp_ldesc.
    Repeat the code for your three new fields

  • How To Add Additional Fields When Creating New Contact From w/in Mac Mail?

    Hi there. When in Mac Mail and clicking on contact information provided within an email, we are able to either (1) CREATE NEW CONTACT or (2) ADD TO EXISTING CONTACT (by clicking on the arrow next to a phone number, address, etc.). If I choose "Create New Contact," how can I add additional fields BEFORE clicking on "Add to Address Book" button in lower right corner? Let's say, for example, I know this new contacts URL or company. (Currently, I am creating the new contact from within Mac Mail and then going to Address Book and finding the contact, then editing, the adding the additional fields, then saving, and then going back to Mac Mail. This all takes time.)
    Note: When creating a new iCal event from within Mac Mail, we can click on Option/Alt key when selecting drop-down arrow...and this will allow us to add additional information. The same feature isn't available for address book???

    I have the exact same question and problem. If there was a way to automatically open the AB entry after "creating new contact" this would solve it.
