SQL query to find access database files?

Odd request, but does anyone have a SQL query to find files? Specifically, I am looking for machines that have access databases on them. .mdb & .accdb

Have you enabled inventory for them?

i was trying to figure out where that option was but couldn't find it under hierarchy settings. perhaps it's been changed since 2012 R2? can you help point it out?

SQL Query with MS-Access Database

I have linked my oracle database with MS-Access via a DB LINK. i can access the data from MS-ACCESS, but i have a problem that when i specify the column name or define a where clause in my query it gives me the error ORA-00904: invalid identfier ..
This query fetch the data without any problem SELECT * FROM TBLREPORT@M_ACCESS but when i run SELECT EMP_ID FROM TBLREPORT@M_ACCESS it gives me the error i mentioned above. (Column name have No problem or mistake of spelling even CASE)
also when i try to put where clause in the query it gives me same error SELECT * FROM TBLREPORT@M_ACCESS WHERE EMP_ID = '100' (Error)
is there any change in SQL query for ACCESS database ??

Are column/table names in access case sensitive? Issue
DESC TBLREPORT@M_ACCESS If column EMP_ID actual name shows up in mixed/lower case, enclose it in double quotes and use the exact case. E.g., if column name shows up as Emp_Id, use:
SELECT "Emp_Id" FROM TBLREPORT@M_ACCESSSY.

GUI I'm hitting the Timeout error. I would like to find the files uploaded into this folder from SQLPLUS.

Be great if we could know the version of Portal. For Rel. 1, here's the query
select id,masterthingid from wwv_things
where siteid = &site
and cornerid = &corner
&site - Content Area id
&corner - Folder id
if you don't know the folder id, use
select id from wwv_corners where siteid = &site
and name = &folder

MS access cant find the database file ....

I have an issue with just one user on network where only one computer cannot access an access database and the error is "ms access can't find the database file...."
Sometimes I can remap and get it to load, but on reboot I always get the same bad message. The other computers login as different users and access from xp based pcs through office 2007. The user in question's permissions are not the issue. So could it be that she is using a 2013 version of office from a windows 8 machine? And how fix?

the value of the action attribute should correspond to whatever you have included in your url-mapping element as stated in the reply by jcalambra...
there is no need for you to have /mypackage/ConnectionToDatabase...
if <url mapping>/Servlet</url=mapping>
then in your form, you should only have
<form action="/Servlet" as opposed to...
form action="/myPackage/ConnectionToDatabase"
i think thats where the problem resides.. the web.xml needs to be properly configured and the form attributes changed to reflect the new values...

The sqlnet.ora file is the profile configuration file. It resides on the client machines and the database server.
Profiles are stored and implemented using this file. The database server can be configured with access control parameters in the sqlnet.ora file.
These parameters specify whether clients are allowed or denied access based on the protocol.
The sqlnet.ora file enables you to do the following:
Specify the client domain to append to unqualified names
Prioritize naming methods
Enable logging and tracing features
Route connections through specific processes
Configure parameters for external naming
Configure Oracle Advanced Security
Use protocol-specific parameters to restrict access to the database
By default, the sqlnet.ora file is located in the ORACLE_HOME/network/admin directory. The sqlnet.ora file can also be stored in the directory specified by the TNS_ADMIN environment variable.
You can not query on this file sqlnet.ora as tnsnames.ora file.

How to execute a SQL Query in Ms-Access

Hi,
I've a query which fetches the data from the tables based on daily transactions.
I mean, the data gets updated daily basis.
Now, i want to send the user a Ms-access work sheet with the query written, so that when ever the query is executed, it would fetch the records (with latest updates).
I found some documents in google to, how to write sql query in ms-access.
How ever, i'm unable to find the connection setup.
how do i connect to oracle database using ms-access??

Basically steps include,
Install and configure Oracle client
Configure ODBC DSN using correct TNS name configured in first step
Link the table from Msaccess, make sure you linked the table not import it.

SQl query to find incompatibility defined

If two programs are defined as incompatible with one another, the data these programs cannot access simultaneously must also be identified.
This can be found from concurrent program->define from front end ebs login, but is there any SQL query to find this for a particular program or request set??

Executing the SQL query across 2 different databases of Oracle

In Microsoft SQL server we can execute following type of SQL query across 2 different databases:
select * from TEST1.dbo.GENERIC_TABLE1 union select * from TEST2.dbo.GENERIC_TABLE2;
Here TEST1 and TEST2 are 2 different databases.
Can we do the same in Oracle?

yes you can, but first one has to setup a database link
Look up CREATE DATABASE LINK and then take things from there!

We are using Call Manager 8.6 [one PUB and 4 SUBs] and have different IP phone models .
IP phone model have different LOAD working with them like few 3905 have cmterm-3905.9-2-2-0 while some have cmterm-3905.9-2-2ES7 .
Is there any way/SQL Query to find out what all phone model with DN are running 3905.9-2-2.0 LOAD?

Try;
Device> Device Settings> Firmware Load Information>Device Not Using Default Load
This will show you any phones that deviate from the "device defaults" Fimware And if you click
on any device listed here it will show the actual Firmware that is being used on the specified device.

Opening windows "Access" database files through network

Is there any way to open windows "Access" database files on my mac through a network to a windows machine? I have the windows for mac software but it doesn't include access.

As per the description, I understand that your Office 2013 cannot open files through a network share directly.
I would like to know that how many clients/users are affected by this in your environment. It could be some specific user account settings, that the Office applications are being affected by.
I'd first suggest you try with a new Windows user profile, then verify result.
