SQL Server 2012 Cumulative update package 2 (CU2) for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2 - why only for x86 ?

Hey guys...
Im a little bit confused... i wanted to download the newest hotfixes for SQL server 2012...
But the download for :
2983175 Cumulative update package 2 (CU2) for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack
is only for the platform: x86 available ... but my SQL server 2012 is running in a x64 environment...
(when i checked the older cumulative updates... they're all only for x86.. can someone tell me why ? )

There doesn't exist an SQL Express "Standard". It's two different editions.
For Express there are three 32bit/64bit editions:
Express, Express with Tools and Express with Advanced Services.
Express with Tools is essentially Express with Management Studio Tools, Express with Advanced Services adds also BI (Business Intelligence) + Reporting Services.
As for where you can apply the cumulative update, on the link you can see this:

In your case I recommend you to use the Standard License as you are only using Host Integration Server 2013.
Then you will need for your architecture to license 16 Cores.
1 Core BizTalk 2013 License costs : about $2500
Total : 40.000€
As HIS 2013 is very performant, you can also use for instance only 1 CPU with 4 or 6 Core with higher Frequency per Server.

SQL2005 Cumulative Update Packages

I am running BPC v5.1 sp07 and I am about to upgrade to sp09, but the installation instructions call for installing SQL Server 2005 SP2 cumulative update package 8, we are currently at package 2. Are there any issues with updating to the current package level 12 for SQL server 2005? Or should I go with SP3 for SQL2005?

There are no issues with upgrading to SP12 for SQL server 2005 but I would suggest you go for SP3 SQL server

We recently installed BizTalk Server 2010 CU 6 in a development environment for testing. After the installation, the error below was generated when an HL7 message was submitted through an MLLP adapter to a request response receive location
with the BTAHL7ReceivePipeline receive pipeline and BTAHL7SendPipeline send pipeline. These pipelines are supplied in the BTAHL7 and have not been customized. We applied the udpate in an environment with our current state BizTalk Server
2010 CU5 and Biztalk Adapter Pack 2010 CU2 and in one with BizTalk Server 2010 CU5, Biztalk Adapter Pack 2010 CU3 and BTAHL7 Accelerator hot fixes 2564013, 2607536,2702143,2713884,2732905,2758524. In both cases, the same error was encountered. Has anyone else
experienced this issue?

We can use BizTalk Server 2010 Cumulative Update 6 with HL7.
This cumulative update package for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 contains hotfixes for the BizTalk Server 2010 issues that were resolved after the release of BizTalk Server 2010.
For this issue, it's recommended to uninstall Update 6 first, and reinstall it again, and check whether it has same issue.

What am I trying to do?
I have tried installing Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 7 Setup on a fresh install of Windows Server 2012 R2 but it gets stuck when running the setup exe on Step 8 of 14 “Mailbox Transport Service” I have included full
error logs at the bottom of the page but the basics are in order it will throw which loop around are:

Rebooted every server
Run setup as Administrator

Exchange 2013 Sp1 says that it is 'Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 3 Unattended Setup'

So, I have decompressed my brand new download of Exchange 2013 SP1. This was downloaded from the link at the bottom of the post.
So to start my upgrade I have tried to start by running the schema preparation which then advises me that I am welcomed to:
'Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 3 Unattended Setup'
Is this poor QA or was the incorrect file uploaded?

Powershell need full path to file you want to run.
So you should run .\setup.exe instead of just setup.exe.

Merge modules for Business Objects XI service pack 4

I am in the process of developing a deployment package in Installshield 2009 - Basic MSI Project. I tried adding the merge modules I downloaded earlier from the web page, http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/runtime.asp
Currently I do not see this web page. It would be nice if you could tell me whether do we have a merge module for Crystal Reports XI service pack 4. If we have where from i can download them. Thank you

Thanks a lot for the immediate response. However, I am not using the crystal reports Version, R2 release.
I had actually installed Business Object XI and applied service pack 4 on it. I checked the version in Help->About. It is 11.0.0.
Also my environment is XP Sp2, Visual studio 2003 and Visual studio 6.0. I understand that R2 release is needed if the environment is Visual Studio 2005.
I would like to give a clear picture of the issue I work through.
After deploying the software in the client machine, I came to know that when client tried to print the embedded crystal report (.dsr file) from CrViewer,
1. Page set-up dialog bog gets displayed.
2. After clicking 'OK' button in the page set-up dialog box, nothing happens. It is suppose to bring print dialog.
I simulated this in my development machine (confirmed that Print dialog is is not getting displayed when 'OK' button is clicked from 'Page setup' dialog)
I researched and found out from some web page that if Business Objects XI is updated to Service pack 4, this issue gets resolved
So i applied service pack 4 in my dev. machine and tested the functionality by clicking 'OK' button. This issue is no more.
Next logical step is to propagate the sp4 changes to the installer. I searched for the merge modules corresponding to Business Objects XI - service pack 4. I could not locate it now.
I searched my backup folder, I located some previously downloaded merge modules downloaded from the web page, http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/runtime.asp
I tried to include these merge modules and received an error message "Internal build error" . My research revealed that inclusion of the merge module, CrystalReports11_RDC_Reportengine.msm (43,306 Kb, 7/4/2007) throws "Internal build error" during compilation of MSI project in Installshield 2009.
Any idea, tips and help to resolve the issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

Fix your coding so your web pages are displayed in "standards mode" rather then the "quirks mode". The problem with the quirks mode is that it forces Firefox to guess your intentions about how something is to be displayed, when your friends view that page Firefox guesses right, but for you Firefox is guessing wrong. Eliminate the "guess" factor and Firefox should display your web page the same for all users. <br />

you can use the Business Object : BUS2045 Inspection lot
you can check the same in SWO1 T-Code.
you can check the Key Field is Inspection Lot no.
That means , at the time of GRN if the Insp. Lot is getting Generated the Workflow can be initiated.
then you have to wright an FS as to define for the Person to whom a mail to trigger.
it can Trigger a mail to the External system as well as to the SAP Inbox for the information.
in addition it can trigger an Event(Work Item) based on which the Quality Person can directly do the Inspection from the SAP Inbox.

Where do I find service packs and hotfixes for 6.5.1?

Anyone knows where to find service packs and hotfixes for 6.5.1? Only find new releases..
Getting this problem and they said something about hotfix 640

How to get Cumulative Update packages for SQL Server Compact v3.5 SP2 for use on a Windows Mobile device

There are links on the pages for various Cummulative Updates for SQL Compact v3.5 SP2 which look to relate to the desktop version, but are these also available for Windows Mobile devices? If so, what is the process to get hold of them?
We are seeing intermittent problems with corrupted databases on devices which are using SQL Compact v3.5 SP2 and have seen that some of the Cumulative Updates do relate to corruption and would like to see if these can help to solve the issue.

Just select the KB article, at the top of each there is a link to request a hotfix, you will then get a email with a download link. The 8088 and 8109 hotfixes also apply to Windows Mobile.
