SQL window keep scrolling down to the last line

Is there a setting that will keep the SQL window from always scrolling down to the last line in the window? This feature is very annoying when trying to review code that is longer that the window size.

You'd have to give more details as to what's your environment and what exactly is failing, but FWIW my tables' SQL tabs behave the same as all others; they start up scrolled up, and can be scrolled as you whish...

I have put a JTextArea in a JScrollPane.
Whenever I append a new line of sentence to the JTextArea, the JScrollPane only shorten the vertical scroll bar.

I have tried to add the line you shown, but it can just show the second last line. It cannot scroll down to the last line.
e.g. I have these message:

If the message board can only show 3 lines and I enter one more line "DDD", then the last line will be shown is CCC. I need to scroll down a bit more myself to see DDD. If I scroll to the top and enter another line"EEE", it will scroll down to show "DDD" but not "EEE".

I am trying to convert a PDF file to Word, and the microsoft explorer window keeps shutting down?

Microsoft Explorer keeps shutting down during the conversion of a PDF file to Word and gives me an error message regarding the Adobe web page. It keeps circling back to the PDF conversion window and will not allow the process to continue. What can I do to continue the PDF conversion process?

Scroll down with the mouse while the crop tool window is open

I would like to know if there is a way to scroll down with the mouse while the crop tool window is open, like in Acrobat 5.0. If not with the mouse, is there another shortcut to go through the pages and adjust the size of the crop and see it on different pages? Thanks!

Please check if Menu is pinned or not, if not then pin the menu on page and then it will not scroll with page.

Hitting spacebar causes window to scroll down

I am using an Imac and have recently had the problem on my wireless keyboard that when I am on an Internet site and I hit the spacebar while typing in the search field the window will scroll down for about half a page. Any solutions?

Are you using Safari or Firefox? I know the default behavior for Firefox is to scroll the last line on the page to the top (just to make reading web pages easier). Are you sure you are actually in a data entry field when you hit the space bar?

PDF opens fine, but when I try to page down or scroll down with the mouse, it hangs the file

Pdf files open fine in Acrobat 9 pro. I am having problems in page down or scroll down on the document. Only way to close the file is to go to task manager and end the program. In task manager it shows that there are 2 adobe acrobat files opened and not responding. What can I check or do about it? I have tried to disable all plug-ins, but that didn't help.

Unable to scroll down to the end of my playlist with i tunes

I must say that I could not be more disappointed with the new i tunes 11. I have been using if for four months and have had nothing but problems which, as I am a professional DJ who uses it everyday, is really bad news. Unlike the old itunes creating playlist is a laborious process. I just bought a load of tunes from the Itunes store for a podcast I have to do but, to create a playlist and drag from another playlist (i.e.purchased) seems impossible. Once one clicks on view sidebar the plalylist disappears so you have to search for every single tune. Can anyone help ? Is there a solution ? I have read the tutorials and have used I tunes for over a decade.To add, now I can't scroll down to the end of my playlists even to click on create or get to any playlist past those beginning with the letter S. I hope someone from Apple sees this as the old I tunes was a far better product. Creating a seperate window for playlist and drag and drop is far easier. If I could find another application other than I tunes I would drop this like hot bricks.Apple have taken a huge leap backwards in my opinion.

Open the playlist. Click View > Show View Options, and set "Sort By" to "Manual Order."
Then you will be able to move songs up or down your playlist by drag-n-drop.

Yahoo Mail scrolls down to the bottom of the page every time I am in my inbox

For the last couple of months, every time I use my Yahoo Mail account, the page automatically scrolls down to the bottom, forcing me to scroll back to the top to see my e-mail. It sounds very minor, but over time, it has become extremely irritating. I know this is a Firefox issue, because I do not experience this problem when checking my Yahoo Mail using IE or Chrome. Please let me know the fix ASAP so I don't lose my sanity.

ITunes Store window automatically scrolls back to the top of the page

I have a problem that is really quite funny except for the fact that I am so frustrated I could cry.
Computer/software: MacBook OSX 10.4.11 with iTunes 7.6
This just started on my Macbook: I open the iTunes store and when I try to navigate down the page, the second I "let go" of my scroll the window immediately scrolls back to the top of the page. This seems to be happening on all pages in the iTunes store. No other program seems to be affected, neither is my library within iTunes - just the store. This happens when I use the trackpad, the scroll bars and my bluetooth mouse.
I can't get any iTunes content beyond the height of my Macbook window! It is maddening!
I have closed and opened iTunes several times and rebooted twice. Any other ideas?

I had the same problem and im using iTunes 7.6.1 (9)
The problem seems to be related to what kind of firewall your behind.
The network I'm on at the moment is very strict and will not allow anything else than www basicly. So I connected to a different network via VPN and use it as my default gateway. iTunes stops scrolling back after I connect to this network (a restart of iTunes might be needed). And I think this is the only place that iTunes has acted up. Think it works fine at my home lan.

Safari lion has small window that scrolls up from the bottom of the web page

Since up grading to Safari Lion (6.0.2) I get this window creeping up from the bottom of the web page.
That little window asks "searching for ....what ever I've typed in my google search engine...." and slowely scrolls up from the bottom of the web page. If I click just right on it it goes away to reappear on the next web page. If I click anywhere on it though it redirects to a rxlist page or some health page etc. Not related to my search at all.
Also, since upgrading the following have been recurring and prominate pain in the necks
1) I can't scroll down on the page using my mouse. Only with the up and down arrows
2) Sometimes when I type a querrie into my search engine line at the top of the brower, it auto redirects to some radom website. Again usually rxlist or vibes caster shop.com etc etc. It does not happen 100% of the time but 80%
3) When I am typing in my search querries, I can't backspace to delete. I have to highlight and retype the entire search.
4) i know I'm going to sound crazy but if I search in google for "safari ... problems" etc. all problems go away and I can surf to my heart's content. It's like as soon as I start complaining it knows and auto corrects!!
FYI I always delete all history, and cache using the "reset safari, and the develop tab and then empty caches.
Do I have a virus of some kind? What do I need to do? Anyone have similiar problems?

Once you install it, check its options and there should be a setting to turn off that small popup box. And I don't think you have to do the about:config part, that setting affects other popups that you probably want.

     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
     Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
     Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. Firefox keeps shutting down in the middle of my sessions. This is very annoying. What is the fix?

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

My DSL has slowed down over the last few months

My DSL has slowed down over the last few months. I had the service that is up to 1.5 M and I used to get 1.2 ish on the verizon speed test, lately I've been getting between .9 and 1.0 at the most. I got the info from the speed test and here is a portion of that info:
