I get an error at the launch of 'Installation' in the setup of SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition SP1 64-bit 2 cores (see attached screenshots):

KB2895494 doesn't seem to work in SQL2012 SP1 CU8
KB2895494 was raised as part of SQL2012 SP1 CU7 to stop a memory leak caused by the
MEMOBJ_COMPILE_ADHOC memory object not releasing memory. The KB includes a query:-
select type, sum(pages_in_bytes)/1024.0/1024.00 'Mem in MB', count (*) 'row count' from sys.dm_os_memory_objects
where type like '%MEMOBJ_COMPILE_ADHOC%'
group by type;When this query is run over a period of time the Mem in MB and row count goes up and up.We run CU6 and did not install CU7 but now we are installing CU8 and when I run this query on a CU8 server these numbers continue to climb just like they do on a CU6 build server.Can somebody confirm that it did work in CU7 and is anybody else seeing this behaviour?It is showing in both a failover cluster and an Availability Group cluster.ThanksChrisI do have a connect item raised. I understand about the CU's. The actual article says that DBCC FREEPROCCACHE is not the answer.
As I did not install CU7 I cannot confirm whether it actually worked but from my results it doesn't appear to work in CU8. My question was to see if others had seen what I am seeing?

According to your description, I agree with Shanky. In theory, cumulative update package 8 for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) contains hotfixes for issues that were fixed after the release of SQL Server 2012 SP1.
We need to verify if you install Cumulative Update 8 successfully, you can check the SQL Server version and ensure its build number(11.0.3393.0). If yes, however, the issue about KB 2895494 still exists, I recommend you submit a feedback
to Microsoft such issues at this link https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback. Or if necessary, you can also install CU7 and CU8 for fixing the issues.

I am trying to download & install Photoshop 6 but setup fails with "Installer failed to initialize Download Adobe Support Advisor" I then downloaded and ran the Support Advisor; it reported NO problems.
I can still can not load Photoshop 6!Lw_jr01 to clarify when you are trying to install Photoshop CS6 you are receving the error message that the, "Installer Failed to Initialize." Is that correct? If so which operating system are you using?

I bought a new computer and I'm attempting to install my older Adobe products that I still use, Adobe Acrobat 7 is the issue for now. I followed the instructions on the Adobe site for installing the older apps, but the installer isn't recognizing my product serial number as a valid serial number. I tried entering it with and without the dashes and neither methods work. What should I do now?

Je suppose que partant du VI où vous avez enlevé le VI de décimation, après enregistrement de votre VI, si vous replacez le VI de décimation, vous obtenez le même résultat.
Pouvez-vous, à partir d'un nouveau projet, construire un exécutable basé sur VI qui contient uniquement le VI de décimation en question?
Vous pourriez aussi tenter de recompiler toute la hiérarchie de votre VI en faisant Ctrl+Shift+Click sur Run.

Dans le cas d'un abonnement, vous pouvez installer Photoshop et vous identifier et tout devrait fonctionner sans problème.
N'oubliez pas de vous déconnecter (depuis le menu Aide) quand vous récupérerez votre portable.
Dans le cas d'un numéro de série, il faudrait surement contacter Adobe pour qu'ils réinitialisent vos enregistrement (mais je dis peut-être une bêtise).
Et là encore, ne pas oublier de le désactiver depuis le menu d'aide avant de revenir sur votre ordinateur à vous. -

Please let me know how to achieve "Setting up security for service-level accounts (page 12 in SAP BPC 5.1 Master Install Guide)"... I have created 3 users in my windows server 2003:
1.Administrator (member of Administrators group in server 2003)
2.SysAdmin (member of Administrators group in server 2003)
3.student (member of Users group in server 2003)
Please let me know whether\how the System Admin ID matches with the SystemAdmin role in the BPC 5.1 and how the Admin ID matches with the PrimaryAdmin role in the BPC 5.1.
I am installing using SysAdmin ID which is a member of Administrators group on my machine.
I have also got License file from Service Market Place for SAP BPC 5.1 where and how should I use this file ??

Sudhakar KurichetiWhat I normally do during an installation, is to create one user whith which I do the complete installation.This user should pass the following requirements:
u2022 The user must preferably be a domain user. It can be a local user on the server, but not in a production environment.
u2022 The user must be a local administrator on the SAP BPC server and in the case of a multi-server installation on all the servers in the environment.
u2022 This user will have to be part of the Remote Desktop users group as well because it is the only user that will be able to perform certain actions on the SAP BPC server through the SAP BPC Server Manager for example backups and restores of application sets.
u2022 Please note, this user can be reset through the server manager but because it is normally also used to start the SAP BPC COM+ components, certain services and many tasks within the application, it is of utmost importance that this user must be configured carefully before the start of the installation.
Then I instal SQL 2005 in mixed mode (so with a SA account). When finished installing SQL 2005 I run the SAP BPC setup, where I specify the same user as I used for the SQL 2005 installation for all 3 fields where usernames can be filled in.
Regarding the license file, this can be located anywhere on your server where it does not get deleted. Mostly during my installations I make a folder on the C drive called something like C:/BPC License File and put it there. The license file should be specified in the third step (first select install BPC on SQL2005, then next on the first screen containing some warnings about closing all other windows applications).

Flash Player won’t install after downloading
On the first attempt to install v14, Flash Player v13 was installed and working fine.
I opened the installation package for the new Flash Player, followed standard protocol for installing Mac software and it hung before retrieving anything.
Subsequently, while watching the beach ball spin, I got an error message that the installer could not retrieve the v13 Flash Player software.
So I uninstalled Flash Player 13 and again attempted to install v14, only to see the spinning beach ball followed by a message that the installer could not retrieve the v14 Flash Player software.
I am running OS X v10.9.4 on an early 2013 MBP/Retina display with 3GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Ram.
If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding my issue, please let me know.

Setups in Database installation or patch application
Hi all,
In the database installation or patch application, in the unzipped directories you have multiple
setup.exe files along with oui.exe.
For example: in 10g
you have one setup.exe under directory 10gR2_server\database
also you have one setup.exe and one oui.ex under directory 10gR2_server\database\install.
I am wondering what are the differences among those setup.exe and oui.exe. Sometimes we tried the setup.ex in one directory it throw some error and tried another one it works. I am kind of confused.

As far as I know setup.exe is starting the Oracle Universal installer and the oui.exe is called by the setup.exe.
Sometimes your can perform silent install as this:
oui.exe -waitforcompletion -nowait -force -silent -responseFile response_file.rsp

Exchange Server 2010 SP1 DR Site Setup
I will need to setup a new CAS/MBX server in a DR site. WAN link can max to about 2MB/s speeds
Main site: 2CAS / 2MBX servers in Load Balanced CAS and MBX1 and MBX2 in DAG of 4 databases
DR Site: 1CAS / 1MBX but I will place this MBX server in Stretched DAG and have passive copies
DR SITE: I would create the 4 databases on the MBX server, but seeding will take 5 days since I have over 800GB for all 4 databases
If I have backups of my databases in the DR SITE from main site, can I copy them(EDB) and logs and then mount them? Then add them to main DAG group? or the only way it can be done is to set up new CAS/MBX servers on same LAN as main servers,
let them sync and travel the servers to DR site?
Also, is my WAN link poor in speed for this DR scenario?Hi Sectorzero,
FYI Exchange2010 SP1 and SP2 is out of support. Please upgrade to SP3.
You can manually seed the database by copying the complete to the exact location in the destination server. Steps below
1.Run the below command on the current server to get the details
Get-MailboxDatabase | fl name, edbFilePath, logFilePrefix, logFolderPath
2. Dismount the database and copy the database folder and logs folder to the server in DR and to thee same directory of server in primary site.
3. Mount the database.
4. Add the databases using the below command
Add-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity <DBNAME> -MailboxServer <DRSERVER> –SeedingPostponed
5.Check the content index state using the command below
Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus | fl name, contentindexstate, status
6. Resume/update the database copy.
Here is the reference
Resume-MailboxDatabaseCopy “DBName\DRServer“
7.If status failed you have to update by the below command and make both contentindexstate and status healthy
Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy DBNAME\DRSERVER –databaseonly
Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy DBNAME\DRSERVER –CatalogOnly
