Sqlloader loads data very slowly

I've got simple table in async. multimaster environment (Oracle 9i on Linux RH AS2.1) and nonreplicated table with the same structure. When i load data with sqlloader into nonreplicated table it takes 30sec and the same load into replicated table lasts 15 minutes. When i queried v$system_event, i've seen that
knpc_anq_AwaitNonemptyQueue event (with
total_waits=1170
time_waited=6785856
average_wait=5800 ) is leading in average_wait.
It looks like repl.triggers and def.queue making the process realy slow.
How can i speed up data load? Maybe some special replication events ought to be monitored?
Thanks in advance!

Natalia if u find the solution of your problem than mail me at [email protected]
Secondly with sqlloader while i insert the data into the table it does'nt move to materialized view log and i m unable to go for fast refresh .....Do you hv any way to push the data into materialized view log so i can go for fast refresh .

  • The FireFox Browser loads itself very slowly and makes me wonder if it is loading at all. Is there something that can be done to speed up the FF Browser loading?

FF Browser 5 loads itself very slowly and takes so long with no sign that it is loading that many times I will click it again and later find that it has loaded itself twice.
Is there anything that I can do to speed the start-up of this browser?
It seems that if there is not a way to load this browser faster that FireFox would make an add on that would show us that the Browser is in process of loading at the very least. Thank you for your kindness in any way for help in this regard. Best Regards

Or were you referring to the one in the old temporary replacement device? Would that even be compatible with the newer phones?
The one that wasn't working had a 4G LTE SIM card in it. It should have usable in the replacement Razr. It was only until I read the OP a third time this morning that there might be a third device involved. It would be nice if people would give more specifics on what devices are active at what time. • My iPod loads songs very slowly

I had some trouble with the battery-life of my iPod, and I thought erasing the whole iPod would cure this, so I've resetted it. After doing this, my iPod, upon connecting it with my PC (Sony Vaio notebook - Windows XP SP2), started loading songs very slowly. Whereas the transfer of a song used to last a fraction of a second, now a song takes up to 30 sec to be transferred. At this speed, uploading my +4000 songs takes ages.
I've already installed the latest version of iTunes (6.0) and the iPod updater, but nothing seems to help.
I've connected the iPod to another computer where the iPod was originally linked to. On this computer an old version of iTunes (4.5) was installed and some songs. The transfer went OK. So the problem was with my Sony Vaio.
I've disabled Norton Internet Security and Norton Antivirus from the Sony but this made no difference.
Could there be a problem with my firewire-connection to the iPod ? How can I speed it up ? I would certainly appreciate it if someone out there could help me. Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for the link, but I am not sure how this is going to help me: I am not booting straight to an X session, but prefer to log into TTY1 and have my login shell handle everything from there.
Here is the relevant part of my .zprofile:
    if (( UID )); then
    [[ -z $DISPLAY && $XDG_VTNR -eq 1 ]] && exec systemd --user
    fi
As far as I understand, your method works if I enable the [email protected] template when actually booting straight to X.

  • Firefox 28, 29 and 30 load pages very slowly - Google Chrome is OK on the same PC...?

Windows XP SP2 on a Dell Precision 340, Pentium 4, 2GB RAM, two GeForce MX4000 graphics cards, AVG Internet Security 2014. Broadband connection with download speeds up to about 27Mb/s.
I get the same symptoms on a homebuilt system with an almost identical spec.
Internet pages with any graphics at all load very slowly. Reliable websites like BBC News can take at least 30 seconds to open, making Firefox unusable for surfing.
Google Chrome, on the same PC, opens the same pages in about 4 seconds.
Firefox running under Ubuntu Studio 9, on the homebuilt PC, is also fine, so I don't think it's my internet connection.
Firefox 30, on Windows 7 64-bit Professional with Norman Endpoint Security, is fine on my work laptop.
What's slowng down Firefox 30 on my Windows XP machines please?

  • Query is returning data very slowly

    Hi,
Please advise for the solution. Thanks in advance.
The problem is that the queries returning data very very slow.
Let me explain further, There is one major table that is storing master data (Main Transaction) and its detail data (Child Records) and further detail of the detail data (Child Records of the Child Records) and so on sometimes upto 5 or 6 levels in the same ONE big table called "TRANSACTIONS_TABLE" table.
Therefore, mostly my quries are self joins like
    SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(10) */ JUDG.ID JUDG_ID,
    SE.ID SE_ID,
    CS.ID CS_ID,
    CS.CS_DATE,

There are 150 COLUMNS in this table and out of which there are 33 columns data type is VARCHAR2(4000 BYTE) and others NUMBER datatype and some are VARCHAR2(255 BYTE)
As from above, the index on TRANSACTION_TYPE_ID is not unique and not bit map but a normal index.
Further there are no partitions for this table.
Many of the database views based on this table return results after several minutes.
    * Around 5000 to 8000 rows are entered in this table on daily basis and is it feasible to create partitions and modify indexes to bit map and vice versa where ever required because already this table is having 54 Indexes including composite ones.
    Please help and advise.

  • Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop CC Loads & Saves Very Slowly

I've encountered this problem after I have upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mac OSX Mavericks. Both Photoshop and Illustrator loads very slow and when I save my files in either program, it really takes so much time.

    Jeff,
We had tried on multiple operating system and also with latest updates done  , same issue persists ,current version is 14.2.1 x64 , Photoshop stops responding once brush size in increased about 1000px.
All latest update were installed via creative common cloud.
    Regards
    Deepak.

  • Firefox 4.0 loads pages very slowly - will this be fixed soon?

I upgraded to version 4.0 and it is much slower in page loading then any of your previous versions. Are you going to be fixing this problem soon? Or do I need to look for a different web browser to use... Very disappointing! So much for FASTER than before - NOT!

It will work again if McAfee does a full update...

  • LSP causes firefox to load pages very slowly

I'm a developer for a company that produces content filtering software. Our filtering component is an LSP that monitors network traffic. For some time now, we've been experiencing periodic issues with Firefox and our LSP.
This is not a crash, and Firefox is not frozen. But when you try to load a page, Firefox comes to a point where it just spins trying to access the same socket over and over again. Clearly our LSP is doing something that Firefox doesn't like, but eventually Firefox breaks out of the spinning and loads the page.
I'd like to know if there is someone involved with Firefox development that I can communicate with to resolve this issue.

    Hi coverton,
    I did pm you:
You may not easily see this. Initially I do no want to answer your question on the forum, as an answer may then deter others from replying. This is not something that I understand but my suggestions are:
you say for some time you have had a problem <br>
if this is a Firefox regression which version did it occur on <br>
file a bug on bugzilla https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=dupes|Firefox
<br> or you may in fact find it is a known issue, an example of a bug fixed in Firefox 13 is
<br>Bug 712363 - SSL connections do not work correctly when not managed by the socket transport service (including especially when the socket is not non-blocking)
<br>have a look through the mailing lists and forums you may find a useful one http://www.mozilla.org/about/forums/
<br>also consider looking on the various mozillazine forums http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php
This sort of problem is probably slightly outside the range of problems we attempt to solve on this forum.
My view is that basically if the problem clearly does not exist in one version of firefox, but does from a certain later version then there was some sort of change, and if that was not intentional it is a regression and appropriate to file a bug for. <br/> ( If the change was intentional there will almost definitely be a bug filed documenting the change. )
If you do post a bug suggestions would be
    * First try it in the latest nightly just in case the problem was fixed. http://nightly.mozilla.org/
*Try to narrow down a regression window,<br/>so please test in Firefox 10 and 11.
*There is a tool for narrowing down regressions by automatically downloading a bissected range of Nightly builds and running them in turn with a dialogue to confirm or otherwise that there is a problem (last time I tried the tool I had a problem with it but it was probably user error, or is now fixed )
    ** see https://github.com/mozilla/mozregression
Obviously you will need to rule out that it is due to changes in third party software, and to demonstrate the problem you will need some reproducible steps, so it could be appropriate to try discussing the problem on a forum in order to build some sort of test case prior to filing a bug.
As you have asked here it would be useful to know what happens so please post back if you file a bug or find a forum or mailing list that provides a solution.
    Good Luck
P.S. <br/> I note you filed '''''Bug 756216 - LSP Causes Firefox to Load pages slowly '''''

  • BI publisher returning data very slowly

    Hi BI gurus,
I have quite afew reports in BI publisher that pulled a huge volume of data ( transactional data from OLTP systems). My clients want these data in excel format. Now the problem I am facing right now is that, when the report query is ran, it spools huge dump files in the server that crashes the server :(.
So what should I do to tackle this.
    1. Data has approx 50,000 + rows
    2. I am using both the sql query format and the data template format.
Is this the problem of my query or is there any limit on the amount of data that BIP can pull, is there anyways i can pull the data faster changing some modes, or enabling the multithreading or something ??
Well I have exhuasted all avenues and I am going nuts.....
So would Appreciate any help i get......
    thanks

  • Firefox and Thunderbird are using a lot of memory and load pages very slowly!

CPU levels are going through the roof when using Thunderbird and Firefox.
Both programs are freshly installed on a new and also freshly installed version of windows 7!
Loading of my pages is taking forever and most pages don't load at all.
    My email is [email protected]
My notebook got so hot that it turned itself off!
Memory is above 250 KB for firefox and Thunderbird above 150 kb!

I do not have a ComObjects folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files. That is not part of Firefox.
wscript.exe is a utility included with Windows to run scripts at the system level. It generally is not used by major programs. If update.exe is starting up with Windows, you may be able to find the script that wscript.exe is running using [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx Autoruns].
It definitely sounds viral. I suggest deleting the update.exe file, although Windows might prevent you from doing that until you kill all related processes. And if you have a persistent infection, the file may be restored or re-downloaded.
It might be easiest to seek assistance from a forum more dedicated to malware cleanups such as the following:
    * [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.html Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs - BleepingComputer.com]
    * [http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35 Malware Removal - MajorGeeks Support Forums]
    Hope you get it removed.

  • Pages on Safari not completely rendering/loading and very slowly.

I own an iPhone 5 which was on 7.1.2. I updated to 8.1 on release and everything seems fine except for one major issue. Safari seems to strangely only render certain parts of pages. This is especially noticeable on pages with many images and links. Safari also seems to load pages a bit slower as well as videos in general, but the main problem is if you try to load a page with lots of pictures or elements, parts of them will not load and will be blank. I did not have this issue on 7.1.2.
Please note that I have already factory restored the iPhone 5 as brand new, and have no loaded or installed anything onto it at all while testing this.
I took an iPhone 4S I own which is still on 7.1.2, and on the same exact WiFi network, was able to load the page completely. While my iPhone 5 on 8.1 misses a few links. This happens everytime I load a page, the iPhone 4S on 7.1.2 loads the whole page, the iPhone 5 on 8.1 misses some. Not only this. The iPhone 4S, an older iPhone with a weaker CPU and less RAM loads pages much FASTER. I was BLOWN AWAY at how much faster my old iPhone 4S was loading pages than my iPhone 5. When my iPhone 5 was on 7.1.2 it was always faster.
It may not seem noticeable at first, but when you load that first busy webpage, you will notice that it does not all come up, and Safari no longer has the "spinning" wheel which says its trying to load.
This also carries over into Chrome and other third party web browsers which try to render web pages.
Can anyone else confirm this issue? I regret updating to 8.1 at this point, new keyboards aren't worth a device which will not load an entire web page. If you're reading this its probably too late, but in case you haven't, DO NOT UPDATE from 7.1.2 (or 8.0.2 if this was an issue then) if you value Safari being fast and accurate. Lets hope Apple fixes this.

I'm still seeing random reports about this, can anyone else confirm? I wonder if its device specific not everyone has the issue, but my 4S on 7.1.2 is still beating my iOS 8.1 iPhone 5 on the same Wi-Finetwork and not having issues with not loading all images on screen.
