Thanks Ryan Sensei. I followed your link. Though I didn't have any Megaupload software installed on my computer, I saw a related article on http://senseiphone.com/fix-apple-mobile-device-not-started_itunes-0315129/ which was my actual problem and fixed it perfectly.

  • SAPRouter service is not starting Error:1067

         Hi All,
I Installed a Sap Router on windows2008R2 with SNC,
For installation i followed all the steps shown in below link
SAProuter via SNC - Basis Corner - SCN Wiki  But when i am trying to  start the SAProuter service in the services it is not starting.
I tried to start the SAPRouter from the command prompt then it is working fine and i checked the OSS1 connection also it's working fine.
Error showing while starting the router service is :
    Error 1067:the process terminated unexpectedly
and i checked the log in Event Viewer also it is saying as :
The description for Event ID 1 from source SAPRouter cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
Please give your valuable suggestion to overcome the error.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Praveen.

This sounds like the application and not networking. Did you download the right version for your OS?
2008r2 is only 64bit I believe, looking at the download site..you got 3 options..you got the right one..
    file is saprouter_617-20010469.sar right?
I guess if it was 32 bit, server would complain during installation.
take a look at this http://scn.sap.com/thread/768187
100% sure about your system variable?

  • Apple Mobile Devices Services not starting (Error 1067)

I think tried everything. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled iTunes. I've done the selective startup via msconfig. I've reverted to older versions of iTunes. I don't have any Mega key or Mega-whatever software installed. No matter what I do, iTunes will not recognize my phone, or my wife's phone, nor can I get the Apple Mobile Devices service to start in Windows Services.
Do I switch to a Droid now or what?

On occasion, the Windows Live LSPs can be the source of LSP trouble. It can be difficult to track down and uninstall the associated items, though. But if that's what is afoot, clearing the Winsock registry key(s) manually is worth a try.
Try wiclee's instructions from the following post:

  • FNDFS Listener not starting after patching

    12.1.3

We recently did patching on our R12 system. The system is online, however the concurrent managers are not working due to the APPS_NPCP listener not starting. When attempting to start FNDFS this is the error we get. This was a working system prior to applying the patches. I can provide a list of patches if needed. There were just under 30 of them I believe. The majority of them were in doc # 437878.1

Nothing really should have changed in the context file or in how the tnsnames.ora is generated, looking at the file it appears correct. What else can I check as to why this won't start anymore?

Where the patches applied to the correct ORACLE_HOME?
Have you verified the contents of listener.ora and tnsnames.ora file under $TNS_ADMIN directory? Running AutoConfig should usually fix those files (assuming it completes successfully and you have proper entry in the /etc/hosts file and your FND_NODES table entries are correct).
How to get a clean Autoconfig Environment ? (Doc ID 391406.1)

  • Listener not starting on server reboot

for securing listener I have done the following steps:
Created a separate account and group at OS level and brought listener.ora, lsnrctl and related files/directories under this account and group.
I have secured listener by setting password (change_password,save_config followed by reload) on Oracle 8.1.7 running on HP Unix 11.11. while giving save_config the listener.ora is automatically brought under its original user and group. But I manually change it back to the account and group I created.
On server reboot listener does not start automatically.

When I try to start this service I get 'error 1067 - The process terminated unexpectedly'. I have checked all dependencies of this particular service and they are all running properly. I've restarted these dependencies, disabled Kaspersky
protection, restarted the Server a few times to no avail.
    Any ideas? Thank you!

I had this exact same problem! Thank you so much Robert for posting a link to that script! That is truly an amazing Powershell script.
I had all the same errors that AK772 mentioned, but I chose to zoom in on a different issue that the script pointed out. When I ran the "Test CA Infrastructure" step it found several errors. When I looked at what the script was doing there it was
comparing the server certificate thumbprint in the registry (HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows Server\Identity) with the personal certificates (Personal Certificates in the Certificate snap-in using MMC). When I looked through them individually, sure enough
the thumbprint in the registry didn't exist in my certificate store. I have NO idea how this could have happened!
However, from there, I changed my Google search criteria and found the following excellent article:
    http://titlerequired.com/2013/04/29/windows-server-2012-essentials-an-error-prevented-the-dashboard-from-opening/
This told more about that error and showed how to regenerate the certificate identity in the registry. This totally saved me! Once I ran through the steps that he outlines, even though I got a timeout error towards the end, I could see that the certificate
thumbprint had changed in the registry and now existed in my personal certificate store.
Once I saw this, I tried going into services and manually starting the stopped "Windows Server Service Provider Registry" service. Sure enough it started right up, no error this time. Finally, I restarted the server so that all of the other dependent
services would come back up and re-ran the linked script above and everything was perfect.
Thanks so much for the breadcrumbs in this post and all of your contributions. I hope that this post will equally be able to help someone else through this very troublesome and evasive error!

  • RHEL 3  - RAC - Firewire - Listener Not Starting

    Hi,
I almost got thru the howto install guide on the Firewire RAC server install, but hit a snag. During the TNSListener configuration, I see both server - run the config just like the instructions say, but it barks back that permissions are denied and cannot start the listener which maybe already started. I then try manually starting the listener using the lsnrctl start command - but the bloody thing still won't start.

    hi all,
Database listener is not starting at cloned instance. strange thing is that when listener name is 'PROD' I can not start listener , and when I set listener name to any other name then there is no problem i can start it normally.
<snip>Why not make life easier on yourself and just let the listener go with the default name of 'listener'?

  • Apple Mobile Device Service is Not Started error

While trying to backup my iPhone iTunes keeps giving me the error saying apple mobile device service is not started. After searching the support forums, reinstalling iTunes and manually starting the service i have found that the service stops when iTunes loads so manually starting it has no effect. I have attempted running it as administrator and as a new user with no success. I have also found that iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes store despite the fact other computers my house can and i have no problem getting online in a browser. Is there anything that i am missing? I am running Windows 7 64-Bit with iTunes 9.1.1.12 64-bit

When you reinstalled iTunes did you completely remove the other installation? Check this article, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923. If you are not connecting, there is something else going on, especially if the service will not stay running. Try uninstalling completly before the reinstallation.

  • Wsm-pm not starting error in wsm_server startup

I rebooted my servers and I receive the following error. I have a 2 node soa and wsm cluster. I rebooted server 1 and soa_server1 and wsm_server1 came up perfectly ok. On server 2 soa_server2 came up ok but wsm_server2 won't come up. I tried to start it up through em and it didn't work either. I tried rebooting, changing the order of startup but nothing. The server wsm_server2 comes up but after like 15 minutes but the wsm-pm deployment is not started. This causes issues if any soa composites are using web service policies. They essentially don't work.

Good question. I notice that in the console, it connects using the DEV_MDS user.
I can view the table data when connected as our generic system user... but not when I connect as the DEV_MDS user.
