My HP officejet pro 8600 plus, makes a lot of noise while printing, ink levels are ok, and printing is ok.  it was makiing lines before but not anymore

    Hi,
Check first if the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.
Check if the carriage is moving freely and there is no obstructions inside the unit.
    Clean the paper rollers once.
See if doing these helps you
    Thanks

  • NOISE WHILE PRINTING (SPRING/METAL ALIKE SOUND)

    HI,
WE ARE USING AN HP OFFICEJET 6500A PLUS PRINTER, IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW SINCE THE IRRITABLE SOUND STARTED.
IT IS A LOUD SPRING LIKE SOUND WHEN PRINTING. I TRIED CLEANING AND ALIGNING BUT DID NOT WORK. I HAVE CHECK PAPER JAM PROCEDURE ALSO BUT STILL FAILED. I TRIED MOVING THE CARTRIDGE MANUALLY, IT IS NOT MOVING.
I OPENED THE PRINTER AND CHECK WHAT IS THAT SOUND, THERE IS SPRING JUST AT THE BACK OF THE CARTRIDGE I TRIED MOVING IT, IT IS THE SIMILAR SOUND THAT IS COMING PUT WHEN PRINTING.
WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THIS ANNOYING SOUND?
THERE IS A NOISE WHEN ORINTING, IT WILL SUDDENLY STOP AND A PAPER JAM ON THE SCREEN WILL APPEAR, EVERYTIME WILL CHECK THE PAPER JAM BUT EMPTY. NO PAPER JAM HAPPENING ON THE PRINTER.

  • Photosmart C6280 Grinding Noise while printing

    Hello everyone,
Own a HP Photosmart C6280 printer. It jammed once but after unjamming the printer has been making a grinding noise (metal-on-metal) whenever I start to print. On occassion it goes away but comes back quickly.
Is there some alignment problem with some of the shafts, gears, etc in the printer that can be easily fixed, or will it require a trip to the shop?
    Appreciate the help!

    HI there,
The printer may require servicing however first we can use this article that covers paper jams to inspect the various points that could cause the sounde. Check the gears and rollers to ensure there are no debris and that they are clean. Let us know if it helps.
    Best of Luck!

  • MP620B makes squeaking noise

MP620B makes squeaking noise before & after printing - does it need lubrication?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi joemehling,
We do not recommend lubricating the printer, as this could do damage to the unit.  You can try performing a roller cleaning to see if this will help.  To do this, please follow the steps located here.
If you still experience the same squeaking noise, the printer may require servicing; please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.

  • Printer making noise when printing

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless A909g all in one printer. Running on Windows 7 64-bit
I have started to notice a noise being made by my printer when the print head is moving. Either while printing or when the printhead is being cleaned. It sounds like picking at guitar strings.   When I check the status of my printer, it shows that everything is ok. I ran the HP diagnostic tool and it also showed that everything is working fine.  I checked the printhead health, and it showed that one was exellent and one was ok.
I have not been able to find any similar issues on the support forum or the HP site.

How long have you been using the printer? the printhead may be wearing out... as long as it still prints , its ok. YOu may need to replace the printhead in the future.

  • Screen crack, squeak noise scrolling iPhone 5

    Hey everyone,
So for some time now, my iPhone 5 16Gb whit, makes crack and squeak noise when I scroll and/or pinch to zoom in. The iPhone is almost a year old and has not had any problems, Changes or accidents since. Does anyone have this too? Or should I go to an apple store? Thanks!

Why would it matter if anyone else had this too?  It's not normal.
Bring your phone to Apple while it's still under warranty.  If there's a hardware problem your phone will be replaced.

  • Squeaking Noise

My HP Officejet 6500 Wireless is less than 2 months old.  Recently it has started making an irritating squeaking noise every time I print something, where the document is two-sided or even one-sided.  I tried running a cleaning paper through and even with fresh new HP ink jet cartridges it still makes this noise.
    Tom Wagner

Hi, not sure what you mean by a 'cleaning paper'? As the printer is 2mths old, it will still be within warranty and you could contact Phone Support. Hope this helps....

  • Loud noise when printing

print quality good but loud noise when printing. do printers need "oiling"?

    Hello @mikeed,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that your 7500A is being rather noisy.
    I would like to help.
Unfortunately, there is not way to 'grease up' the printers gears.
If the noise goes away when the product is on, and disconnected from the computer, there might be a connectivity problem. Use the following steps to isolate a connectivity issue with the computer.
    Shut down the computer.
    Turn off the product.
Disconnect the USB cable from the product.
    Wait 30 seconds.
    Turn on the product.
    Print a self test report
    Turn off the product.
Connect the product to a USB port on the computer.
    Turn on the computer.
After the computer finishes booting up, turn on the product.
If you still hear the sound, connect the product to a different USB port on the computer. Check the functionality of the product.
If you still hear the sound, connect the product to a new computer.
Check the functionality of the product.
If the sound continues and the product functions normally, the sound is a normal sound.
When the product prints, the rollers, gears, paper feed, and carriage makes noise.
When you print in the Fast or Draft modes, the product makes more noise than when you print in the Best or Normal modes.
    Check the following:
If the product did not print successfully, check for a paper jam.
Check that the product supports the paper you loaded.
Make sure the paper is loaded correctly, the trays are extended, and the paper guides are adjusted properly.
You can also try the following.
Remove and reinsert the cartridges to make sure that they are correctly installed in the unit.
    Perform a hard reset.
While teh printer is powered on, unplug the printers power cord.
    Wait at least 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the printer.

  • Save to PDF in TextEdit - Error While Printing

When I try to save a text file to PDF I receive the error message - "Error while printing".  This only seems to be happening to text files I open or create in TextEdit.  It works fine if I log in as a different user.  I've run repair permissions and also deleted a couple of com.apple.print plist files in my user library, but the error remains.
Is there anything else I should try short of reinstalling TextEdit?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
    Rick

On OS X 10.8.2, with TextEdit, I can open or create text documents and export to PDF without any issue.
Here are the two preference tabs and settings that work for me. You can single click on the images for a larger version.
    New Document
    Open and Save
PDF documents on OS X are created with binary content, which is the junk you observe.

  • Automatic archiving FI invoices while printing

    Hi guys !
I need to build an "archiving system" for FI documents.
The overall requirement is to archive all invoices in pdf format in external system (let's call it ES), and then link those documents to SAP FI module
My initial concept was to save PDF documents on physical hard drive, new documents would be triggered by ES, processed and the link is somehow sent to SAP and then linked to particular invoice.
Another approach would be to call WS on ES side, push document and receive a link in response.
Which solution is better? Maybe there is another approach to achieve given requirements?
What is more, is there any standard procedure to archive document, on physical drive or send, while printing invoice or it just require to create some custom enhancement in printing process?
And the most mysterious subject to me, how to link SAP invoice with external source and let SAP to display external document? Hope it is achievable with Archivelink, do you have some good source of tutorials on ArchiveLink ?
Unfortunately I have never occupied with Archiving module and I really need your piece of advice.
    Greets,
    Adam

Your answer did help but still expriencing challanges with the following:
    Output Types
-Print Parameters options are as follows
        >Plant/Storage location
        >Plant/Storage location/User group
        >User exit
       >User parameters
       >User
Please advice which of the above is appropriate?
-Should there be a program reflected on change output field for General data screen?
Please advice since I'm currently experiencing shotdumps(runtime errors) when processing the GR.

    Post Author: saqib
    CA Forum: .NET
HI All,I have joined this forum recently. I found this forum so helpful. I have one query which is: I am using crystal report 10 with Dot Net 1.1, I have created one web report which consists of 19 pages. Once i press the print button on the report after previewing it shows me the error reporting screen of windows. I have checked in event viewer it gives me the following error detail:The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Internet Explorer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: iexplore.exe, 6.0.2800.1106, printcontrol.dll, 10.0.0.533, 0003bb45. Can any one helps me as i am totally stuck in that. Thanks in advance.

Try the following if your printer is a network printer
    1. Add Printers - select Local Printer
    2. In the Add Printer wizard, select "create a new port" option and select "TCP/IP" as type
    3. Write the IP address of the network printer in the "Add standard TCP/IP Printer Port wizard". The port name becomes IP_<ip addr>. Click Next.
    4. Select the printer and printer type in "Add Printer" wizard.
    5. Select a driver and Write a printer name. This completes the setup. Use this printer name to print from Oracle reports.
    Hope this helps..
