I need to tabulate data from VBRK / VBRP alongwith sold-to party and ship-to party and shipment address
What tables can I join (in SQVI) with VBRK or VBRP to be able to get shipment addresses ?
I tried VPBA and ADRC tables but no luck
Would any guru like to suggest something?

2. Create a basic LOV and display NULL -> RETURN NULL

3. Click on Apply Changes
Apex smart enough to know user do not want to add anything very nice....

Apex don't bother to test all validations straight to GIGO and end user see those ORA-.
I have a page that the tabular form has a default value (not LOV but default value) the validation is not working, GIGO....
Any expert please explain is this suppose how Apex work? or do we need to handle those default value.
I try to debug the page with good one and bad one, I think I still have a lot to learn I don't understand the debug message. I guess is something about Branching....

Unfortunately there isn't really much that could be done to work around this issue in 4.0.x. The validation logic treats these new rows as not having been touched by the user, hence they are ignored. But the DML (update/insert) logic thinks the data did change due to that default value, and thus attempts an insert for the new row. There might be a way to trick APEX into doing the right thing with some JavaScript, but I would advice against that, considering that this might break after a future upgrade.

Any Expert idea how to repair BIOS on Envy DV7-7223CL having continuous CapsLock Blinking?
I have a Envy DV7-7223CL laptop (Product no. C2N67UA with AMD A8-4500M cpu and 8GB RAM) running Win8 which was working fine, The day windows was updating the system while the battery was out and it was conected to charger only, Then the power got disconnected and laptop went dead in middle of update!!
When I try to restart the laptop the system stucks in blank screen and can't open the BIOS page or go to BIOS recovery using "Windows+B" combination.
From signs that I see and HP support pages I read and tried I'm almost sure that the BIOS has got corrupted ...
Now the symptoms after powering up: Power button remains ON, Caps-lock LED keeps flashing (Non-Stop continuous), HDD and System Fan running, Blank Screen with absoultely nothing on display.
What I've tried:
1- Disconnecting HDD, ReSeating and removing memory modules, forcing power off by holding power button,
2- Following all steps shown in:

Though I'm 100% sure that I haven't deleted the factory set HP_TOOLS partition on the HDD (The laptop was recently reset to factory settings using Recovery Partition) but still system can't get into BIOS Recovery screen using Win+B
3- As last resort I've been trying to recover BIOS using external USB storage: I downloaded and ran the HP UEFI Support Environment for my laptop (which is sp63599.exe), It Created the folders "BIOSUpdate" & "SystemDiags" folders within "Hewlett-Packard" folder on flash drive with all required files inside, It also creates BIOS folder which has 3 empty folders (Current, New, Previous) inside. I believe these folders should contain the BIOS files that system will read automatically and flash to BIOS.
So I followed the steps in the link below:

And downloaded the oldest version of BIOS for my laptop (F.13 - sp58982) then extracted the 0182D.BIN file using WinRar out of this file. Then I downloaded the latest version of "phoenixtool250" and fed this 0182D.BIN file to it trying to get out the Decrypted file .dec and signature file .sig, But out of surprize the program tells that the BIN file "is not a Phoenix/Dell/Insyde/EFI BIOS",
So it couldn't proceed and no .sig & .dec file produced!! I tried this program with F.21 & F.23 version of BIOS files for my model but no luck.
I tried this program with .BIN files for other HP models (i.e. DV7-4120er) and it works fine giving the required .sig & .dec files.
So now questions are:
A) Why the system can't recover BIOS fro HP_TOOLS partition on my HDD by using Windows+B combination? Does it mean that partition is currupted too? Or is there any other way to initiate it?
B) How can I get out the .sig & .dec files from the BIOS .BIN files of my model (F.13-sp58982, F21-sp60074, F23-sp63517)? Is there any other program rather than "phoenixtool" to do this? Or is the BIOS chip on this model of HP is completely different brand & type (None of Phoenix/Dell/Insyde/EFI BIOS)?
C) If anyone happen to have this model (DV7-7223CL with HP_TOOLS partition still on their HDD I'll appreciate if could copy & send me the *.BIN & *.SIG files, I think it will solve my problem
Please help me ASAP to solve this problem as I need this laptop for my work, I appreciate feedback and hints that you may have tried or discovered solving this problem.
PS: I tried to copy *.BIN & *.SIG files of "HP DV6-7138us" which I found through a thread to mimic the system and see if it reads the files from USB flash, But nothing happen and I even don't see the USB stick light blink or turn on during boot with Win+B pressed, So does it mean my system doesn't or couldn't even read the USB drive? Or simply it does check the USB drive but ignores it as the *.bin & *.sig files not matching what the system expects to find?Hi Chien8,
Thanks for thoughts, I've read that article and tried creating the USB BIOS recovery disk,
But the problem as I've explained on item 3 of my above post is that the HP BIOS packages available in HP Support website only includes the *.BIN files, and no *.SIG files as told by many HP Experts that is required for laptop to read the recovery BIOS info from USB stick.
So now the question is how or where to get the *.SIG file for my model!!!
HP's following link only gives general info on using a USB key to recover BIOS, But not accurate details and working details on how to prepare that USB disk!! Because the procedure explained only makes the template of the BIOS disk but doesn't write any BIOS files (*.BIN, *.SIG, etc. ) on the disk:

Problem with Push Slides - Any experts please help!
When I apply this transition (in this case simply an image appended to the timeline) it leaves a weird echo of the timeline in the middle of the transition.
It does not do this moving vertically - only horizontally. I have tried different durations. I have opened the transition in Motion (in which I am NOT an expert) & turned off reflections and reduced the number of bounces to 0 (originally set to 2) - but no change.
I cannot make this into a compound clip because it is simply the one image, but in other cases where I do use compound clips it does the same thing.
My workaround now is to detach the audio, cut out the video and replace it with the incoming clip - but this is a big PIA and can limit my flexibility moving forward.
For these projects I rely pretty heavily on the pushes and ANY help would greatly be appreciated.Might take a look at the image coming in from the right to make sure it doesn't have a black vertical band (and then a transparent gap to the rest of the image) on its left, that ends up off screen when the transition is complete.
I've had cases when I delete sections of a image in photoshop and leave behind fragments. Using selections to clear things seems to be one cause of this. -

ok, for 4 years ive had excellent broadband, in fact i checked the line myself as a BT engineer, I run my router off an upstairs extension, fitted it myself properly.
BT email me 2 weeks ago and say ill be on asdl2 and may experience some disconnections, ... i did .
The next day, my BB keeps going down, i work out that it happens when an xbox in our porperty is switched on, it cuts out the BB and i got an orange flashin BB light on my HH2
I phone BT, they fail to diagnose it and although i say it will do no use they send out an openreach engineer, i used to work with him in fact, he calls anyway and checks my line, all ok, he gives me a HH3 and it appears fixed
but for the 10 day signal to noise reset period we have sporadic fast and slow BB
more phone calls and i find out that the card in the exchange will not be reset for 10 days
when its finally reset is it fixed ........
Nope, now when an xbox is switched on and played, we have two, down goes the BB to 1/2 a meg, same problem as day one, i swapped the xboxes, phoned MS, open ports, open port forwarding for live ... all in vain
Could it be the power, i disconnect everything except the 50" plasma tv, it cant be that right !!!!!! its not internet able after all ..... errr yes it is the tv, everytime the tv goes on down goes the BB
i go to the master socket, take off the face plate my old work mate removed and there is a loose extension wire.
i reconnect it, and everything works fine
HOW could one loose extension wire give me 12 megs all day and night unless the plasma is on, i can only think that the wire was allways loose but has carried 7megs fine, then along comes adsl2 , this extenuates the issue and turns the dead wire into some sort of super aerial.
the plasma goes on and is picked up by this aerial and down goes my network

Hi. Welcome to the forums.
What initially struck me was interference, which is was only noticeable at certain frequencies and "effective" when a certain bit of kit was turned on - and hence in resonance with the loose wire perhaps.
Over the years, various bits of kit have affected the BB signal, in particular Christmas lights/trees (so I expect there might be a few folk reporting drop outs soon ), lift shaft machinery, faulty power adaptors and all sorts of stuff outside the property (e.g. next door). A lot are very hard to pin down. The lift shaft one took a few months and a very interesting online blog.

MSS Iview Problem -Any Experts help please
I've configured ESS BP in my Portal successfully and it's running perfectly fine. Now i've imported MSS also without any problems. Now the issue is when i'm launching the My Staff iViews it gives me a message "Could not connect to the R/3 System" . These iViews using the system object "SAP_R3_HumanResources" which has been used by the ESS iViews also. Now ESS iViews are working fine with the same system object but MSS iviews are giving me the error message.

I installed the odm followed the tutorial, and the system did not imply the error.
I could see the data mining interface and the dmuser after connecting.
Whats more, somebody once built the model successfully, now the error appeared again.
What caused the problem, how to solve it?
I was about to be crazy to the problem. I have to do some research on data mining to get the information of the data, so I choose the odm tool. But the error stopped the reach. I m afraid if this problem could not be solved ,which one should I choose.
By the way, I downloaded the odm from oracle.com. I don't know where to get the licence. -

Once I set my own calendar .. why it's not keeping my calendar and printing the date and time onwards from my set date time...
I just print only one time the date/time but later in my thread, it prints OS date and time....?

I have a couple of questions for you guys, since you're all probably experts here. IF you dont mind answering them, it would be great. I will ask more in the future, but for now:
1) What is an object? I really dont understand how you can have objects in java. What can they do, wht characteristics do they have?
2) What is inheritance? i understand what the word means, but how can this relate to Java? provide an example if you can, please.
3)How do threads work? If i wanted to make a a character that moves around a screen, while another character is doing the same thing, how would i make the thread do that?

By state we mean that the object has some attributes or variables that define how it differs from other objects of the same type, or even from itself at a different time. An example of state is that the object could have a colour and an age. The colour would be permanent, but the age would tend to vary with time.
Behaviour is how the object reacts to messages, as an example the object might have a good or bad attitude. The behaviour is determined by the class of the object. So you could have GoodyTwoShoes objects with a much too good attitude and BaddAss objects with a bad attitude.
2) What is inheritance? i understand what the word
means, but how can this relate to Java? provide an
example if you can, please.Your GoodyTwoShoes and BaddAss classes could both derive from the same class. For example that class could be TypicalStudent, it would have many common behaviours like eatsLunch, ridesBus, attendsFootballGames, goesOnDates etc. these would be inherited from the TypicalStudent class, but the disruptsClasses and brownNose behaviours would not be inherited.
3)How do threads work? If i wanted to make a a

the thread do that?Threads are like small interior processes that appear to run independently, even though they have access to the same memory. So your 2 characters could both access the Window, but would have seperate x and y coordinates and motion attributes. They would appear to move independently because the system would allocate resource to them in turn, just how it does that isn't relevant at your level.

Any Experts on Field Dominance?
There are a lot of threads on these forums concerning HDV footage turning out really bad footage when outputted to DVD (worse than using an SD source). The problem seems worse for those working in PAL. Here's my theory as to why PAL users seem to be suffering with this problem more:
HD is upper field dominance, PAL SD is lower. So a PAL based conversion from HD to SD involves resizing AND field shifting.
If you export a HDV sequence from FCP to Compressor (using any method), then compress using default settings, Compressor outputs an upper dominance file still. This must mean DVD SP (or Toast, etc) are converting from upper to lower before it burns the DVD.
We all know DVD SP does a crap job at compressing anything remotely hard, so why are those of us in PAL land trusting is to do field conversions? Is this conversion actually hard, or am I worrying about nothing?
Starting out with HD definitely makes worse PAL DVDs than starting out with SD footage, so which conversion/step is causing the problem?
If I set compressor to output a lower dominance field, the DVD ends up with unwatchable flicker in the movement, so I tried conforming the clips to a new lower dominance HDV sequence, meaning FCP is doing the field conversion. Movement is 100%, but the quality is still down a little (jagged edges). I might have to turn Frame Controls on in Compressor and let is spend 12hrs compressing a sequence already converted to lower field by FCP.
So, I think I may have deduced that FCP is crap at downconverting. Compressor and DVD SP are crap at converting to lower field dominance. Compressor is crap at downconverting unless it's set to PAINLFULLY SLOW (ie frame controls on with Resize Filter set to better quality).
Anyone got any comments or thoughts? Am I remotely on track or way off?

DavSorry, I haven't had time to read your post carefully as I am dashing out, but I came across the problem over 2 years ago.
Here are some notes I jotted down at the time, mainly with reference to using iDVD as the problem more or less disappeared when encoding with Compressor.
+1. Edit your HDV/AIC in the timeline. Then create a new DV-PAL (NTSC) Anamorphic sequence. Copy your edited HDV/AIC to the new sequence. Do not alter anything. Render the sequence ..... this will take a long time - up to twice the length of the project. Then File>Export>QuickTime Movie (Not Self-contained).+
+However, if you use the QT Movie in iDVD you will get a squashed 4:3 movie, so first of all you must make QT stretch it out to its proper 16:9 dimensions like this:-+
+a. Open the exported movie file in the QT Pro player.+
+b. Go to Window>Show Movie Properties.+
+c. Select the "Video Track" and in the "Visual Settings" panel uncheck "Preserve Aspect Ratio".+
+d. In the "Scaled Size" box set the width to 1024 pixels for PAL or 853 for NTSC.+
+e. The "Video Track" will have turned grey, so click it to make it blue again.+
+f. The opened movie file will jump to 16:9.+
+g. Close it with the red button and click Save.+
+2. This method is fast. Set your HV20 to "Locked DV" which means that FCE/FCP will capture it as anamorphic DV and edit it as standard definition anamorphic DV. (Use Easy Setup ... DV-PAL (NTSC) Anamorphic).+
+You can then Export>QuickTime Movie to be used in iDVD and use the stretching technique mentioned above.+
+An alternative to clicking the grey video track is to simply enter "576" in the height box and this should make the opened video file jump to 16:9, whereupon clicking the red button of the video should give you the window allowing you to "Save".+ -
my canon HF50 is set to a native 50i frame rate. When I load it into iMovie from the chip iMovie says it is at 30 fps. Interestingly editing it int NSTC (american TV format) I do not seem to get the horrible interference patterns (twitching leaves, vibrating paralell lines that I have with doing the same clips as PAL, )the british format).
My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Any expert OSX on Windows network people out there?
I'm in desperate need of help. My company is all Windows and I have the only mac (yeah, i'm the marketing/design guy). I'm running OSX, latest-greatest with all of the updates on a Windows network. IT just upgrader their servers and eversince then I have had all kinds of problems. The network is super slow on the Mac but the PC in my office is not affected that much. I sometimes lose network conection on the Mac all together and have to manually GO get the servers again. On big pain is that I can send email (using Mac Mail) inside the company but I can't send anything outside. I have to use webmail for that.
Oddly, the PC was also affected. Some network speed was restored using manual IPs but get this... Photoshop will not save to the server from the PC. It does fine on the Mac apart from the ultra slow server response but on the PC I have to save files to the local HD then move them to the server manualy.
My IT network guy is no help. He is threatening to pull my mac and his only solution for the PC was to wipe it clean and re-install everything. He just took the PC today so I don't know if it is going to work or not (I have my doubts) and it's going to cause me productivity problems.
I haven't been able to find anything on Apple's or Microsoft's site that seems related. (SHAME on Apple for having les info on mac intigration to Windows networks than Microsoft BTW)
Here's the network set up:
OS > Windows Server 2003 Enterprise with Service Pack 1 (Completely Patched with all updates as of 12-06-06)
Mail > Exchange 2003 Enterprise with Service Pack 2
All servers have Duel 3.2 GHz Intel Xeon Processors

Up front I don't think you'll resolve all your answers without a Mac/Windows consultant. You've got too many variables in the mix for someone to be able to comprehensively answer all your questions plus you're possibly going to need some assistance from your IT guys because some things may be out of your control. A consultant would be able to speak Tech-ese for you.
With that said, here are some ideas...
1. For network speed issues, ask your IT guys if your network switch port has been forced to a particular speed/duplex or if it is set to Auto. Macs hate to be forced. You want Auto.
2. I suggest using Microsoft Entourage 2004 over Apple's Mail application. Mail is using IMAP and SMTP to connect to your Exchange server. Entourage uses WebDAV, which allows you to take advantage of calendaring and public folders too. You've got webmail access, which means Entourage should work for you. Enterprise licensing for Exchange includes Entourage. Or if you have Office for Mac then Entourage is included.
3. I suggest not using Mac OS X's built-in SMB client. It's clunky and doesn't play well with Windows servers for regular use. Invest in Dave or ADMitMac from http://www.thursby.com. It may very well help you with multiple network issues. A trial version is available for you to evaluate it first.
